So my boiler went down,engineer was supposed to turn up the following day,no show,turned up the following night at 2140.Nick was a diamond but had to condemn boiler because my son fell over the casing.Was told someone would be out as soon as new casing became available and sort repair!!!,so I straightened casing as best I could and refitted it,fast forward 3 weeks,Paul shows up,again a diamond,finds fault and part was put on order,fast forward 2 weeks,phoned Sureserve who said an engineer turned up on the 10/03/26 and we weren't in,funny that no card was put through door and no phone call,so checked my neighbours ring doorbell,guess what,no engineer turned up at all.Phoned Sureserve AGAIN.An engineer was being sent 27/03/26 for an AM appointment.GUESS WHAT,YOU GOT IT.ANOTHER NO SHOW,NO PHONE CALL,F!!! ALL AND IM SICK AND TIRED TOPPING UP THE GAS AND ELECTRIC TO HEAT MY HOUSE.SURESERVE(POORSERVE)😡

Fantastic experience with sureserve- particular the installation team!
We had new heating, solar, battery, water tank, smoke alarms, mechanical ventilation and door undercuts fitted this week under the government grant scheme. Originally told by the technical surveyor it would take two weeks to do, then at booking told it would just be 3 days.
On the day the workmen arrived am closely followed by a delivery of all the equipment/components. There was a large team (in every room !) and they worked efficiently and were all very pleasant. Scaffolders arrived mid morning, leaving the scaffolding up for when it was needed.
Overall install only took 1.5 days and the amazing lead electrician was great at explaining how everything worked and gave us great advice going forward for getting the most out of these measures. We were very impressed with them and would gladly recommend to to others

Dominic called us the day before to give us a time slot of 11am to midday and ask a few questions. He arrived at 11.45, and was friendly and very professional, he did a great job and was very tidy, he then explained the workings of the new smart meter to us, we couldn’t have wished for a better job.

I recently had my boiler and flue replaced and the two operatives were great. David Bowyer for the actual replacement and Atney Stephenson for filling the flue boards and decorations. Friendly, on-time, professional and did a good job.

We’ve been without hot water for almost a month, which has been extremely difficult—especially with an 8-year-old at home who can’t properly bathe.
During this time, multiple appointments have been cancelled without notice. On several occasions we were told the required parts were in stock, only for the appointment to be cancelled last minute, or for engineers to arrive with the wrong parts.
Customer service has not been able to provide any clear timeline or solution—only that we have to wait indefinitely for parts, with no estimated availability.
This has been an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. A lack of communication, repeated errors, and no clear resolution have made this situation far worse than it needed to be.

Terrible company. Nothing but issues over the last few months with my boiler and heating. On one occasion I waited in all day and nobody came. They then claimed someone called but it was a missed call. This is a lie as I was home all day waiting for them. They obviously didn’t want to do the job on a Friday afternoon so just turned up to the house, took a picture and didn’t knock. The issue got resolved a week later but I now have a F67 fault code on my boiler and again no heating or hot water. Called last night at 6pm to report. By 10pm no one had come and I was not letting a random
Man in my house at that time in the evening so I went to bed. Woke up to a missed called this morning at 10:30pm last night. No communication before this. Called again this morning. Customer service is always rude and not helpful. I hate this company with a passion. Since the minute they laid hands on my boiler it’s been nothing but trouble.

Richard Notley was very knowledgeable, very efficient in exchanging the two meters and very clear on what he was doing with a couple of good stories which made the whole experience a true pleasure unlike the 14months it had taken to get to the point of EDF sending someone out. Grant McNeil made contact the day before the appointment. He asked for photos to check the existing set up and that he had all the correct fittings. He texted me 20mins before he arrived to let me know he was in his way. The installation is neat and he cleared everything away afterwards. He is professional and very pleasant to deal with.
