Scam DO NOT BUY

Terrible terrible experience.
Bought 2 surfboard as a guest, without logging in but completed all the text fields and authorised credit card payment.
The order confirmation email never came. When I reached out to CS, they say they cannot locate my order, asked me to provide more information on the purchase and transaction record.
After more than 1 week, CS came back and said, oh we are terribly sorry, we can’t find your order… blah blah
No solution was provided, no help no nothing!! It is a scam!!

I demanded to speak to finance or a CS manager, nothing happened.

Tried calling CS hotline during office hours, got through the fist time only to get hung up on. Second time waited for 1 hour 12 mins without anyone picking up (I was in position number one for 30mins plus). These calls are long distance call, cost €0.5 per minute!!!! An absolute waste of time and money!!!

If I could give less than 1 star I…

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I paid extra for overnight delivery for boots as I'm a Watersports instructor and needed them ASAP so I could work and earn money.
The boots Never arrived. I spent hours chasing surfdome could never get through, sent many many emails, spent hours chasing DPD and noone knew where the boots were. They cost almost €100. When I did finally get through to speak to someone they kept me on hold for 30 minutes, and then told me they'd given me a refund which would clear in 3 workings days. It's now the 4th day, I've again sent many emails requesting an update and have been completely IGNORED.
So no refund and no boots and now €200 out of pocket because I had to buy another pair for work.
How anyone can run a business this way is beyond me. Absolutely shocked. Its like noone works here at all, it's a ghost company who will take your money and not give you what you paid for. And when you need help there's noone around to help you.
Very frustrating and I'm very upset about the whole ordeal. Never ever order from this cowboy company again!

Terrible customer service…

I ordered a pair of boots immediately realising the size I had ordered was wrong .. I emailed the company immediately only to receive an email 2 days later saying it was too late to change the order .. ridiculous. Masked as an onshore Australian supplier with a .au website .. just a farce.

uk free delivery VAT paid, sent another vat and clearance charge

Bought a suitcase from Surfdome £124.99 + vat £149.99 and I have now received another invoice from parcel force of £42.00!! VAT?
I was about to by a £300.00 snow jacket so not sure I will now if it incurred a extra invoice !

Got on well with surfdome have used…

Got on well with surfdome have used them a few times over the years. Their stock is limited at times on some items but have a great range. The last time I used them in January the items were delivered within a week. There was a few items to be sent back the returns policy is straight forward but it took about 3 weeks from the time it was dropped off to it got to surfdome using parcel connect who are poor. But when surfdome had received the items back I got an email about the returns and 2 day later my account was credited. Surfdome is good to deal with they should get a different courier service because parcel connect are rubbish. I will be using surfdome again.

Incredibly poor service

Ordered a number of items in mid/late january on which i had to pay import duty. paid the import duty was then contacted by DHL to say the package was actually empty when it arrived.

after trying to get in contact via the website, email and instagram, when i finally got a response i was told that it may take 72 business hours to respond.....

.......i'm sorry but nearly two full weeks to respond is simply ridiculous. I'm not expecting the matter to be resolved instantaneously, but that is an unreasonable amount of time to have to wait. Surely it does not take that long to contact DHL and find out where the problem was. Unfortunately I now am presuming there will be even further complications if i have to get the import duties refunded (I am not getting stuck with paying these for items i havent received or paying twice if replacement items are sent). Not to mention by the time i will actually receive my stuff, the need for the main item i ordered will be out of season for this year

i have previously ordered a number of times from surfdome and it has always been relatively smooth, but this is appalling and i wont be ordering again

Very poor return infrastructure

Ordered (number 8472361) a pair of snowboard bindings which ended up being too small for a wide board. Returned the pair completely unused, tags and plastic intact, and ordered a larger pair of the same brand. Shipping was fast, but it has been over 3 weeks now without any update on my return and refund, other than that it is “in transit to our local hub.” This has been VERY frustrating, and as others have said here, I have been unable to reach customer service via phone.

Awful Experience

Awful experience. Purchased ski's which included bindings (bindings did not arrive with ski's). Attempted to contact through the number and have been hold for an extended period of time. Additionally, have attempted to email and no response. I would like to be my bindings as this is an expensive purchase.

British company sent the wrong item

I was sent the wrong item. Filled out a return form and had to pay return postage. Fortunately I placed the order through Paypal but Surfdome did not refund me my full payment. Please be aware that Surfdome.ie is only a website for a British company and are only an office space in Ireland. Mail order only. Their help line is also an answering machine with no person on the other end to handle your queries. Buyer avoid at all cost

The worst online shopping experience

After contacting twice via messages and hearing nothing I am getting concerned that I won't see my refund for the item that was returned at the start of January. Would appreciate greatly some form of contact with regards to this. It has put me off placing any further orders based on the length of time it has taken and the lack of contact- such a shame that company's are able to hold on to a customers money for so long once they are in receipt of the returned item. Such poor customer service.
