I ordered a large fruit and veg box. I had to throw half of the contents away, 3 lettuces brown all the way through, plum so soft inedible and potatoes really soft. I was really upset I had seen pictu... See more

Since they setup in st vincents i enjoy taking a look at what is on offer and buy something knowing it won't go to landfill
My first experience was amazing. Pleasantly surprised at the service and availability. Filled a £12 box with really good quality fruit and veg. A lady called Naz gave a wonderful service. Practically... See more

I love it here
I love it here, great quality, especially the prices, amazing range, good prices and nothing goes to waste.
Great value for money and delivered…
Great value for money and delivered early next morning.
Some of the food delivered was really…
Some of the food delivered was really nice whilst other items were not edible. The bananas for example were completely black and soft and the crackers were stale. However, the fudge was really lovely. I may but again, but would visit the store rather than a delivery
Really good company
Really good company, mega cheap. There isn't a huge selection but that's due I assume to them being (I think) a small company. But I highly recommend them and will definitely be ordering from them again. Had a slight issue with delivery but it was sorted quickly and the person was very friendly. The crates of pop are an absolute bargain and all branded and perfect.

It is a walking distance from my flat which make it convenience.
Place is dirty
Place is dirty, floors uncleaned and no help from the workers if asked any questions. The owner is very rude to the customers, no clear signs outside and inside. Many tripping hazards. Items bit expensive
Very outdated, some bad
Didn't recieve items in order unsure I was reimbursed.
Item had to be thrown away due to bad smell and colour and taste.
I was supposed to see items over a year out of date although I okow items are put of date but was initially worried the salad dressing was inedible. Unopened them as yet so don't know.
A great service
Surplus to Purpose has been doing amazing work for years, and have been consistently great. Their new home delivery service is so handy as their warehouse is a bit hard to get to because I don't have a car.
They always have a great selection of items available - this does vary in quality, but that's the nature of rescued waste.
Only improvement I'd make is that the delivery was late due to unforseen circumstances - this wasn't a problem and the driver was great when he arrived, but I wasn't notified in advance and that would have been helpful.
Great first order
Really easy to order and a good mix of fruit and veg. The delivery driver even managed to find me when I put in the wrong address!!!
All the bakery products were well out…
All the bakery products were well out of date and therefore inedible. The bread cakes were green mouldy. The veg on this occasion was not fit to use other than some mushrooms. Although on other occasions it has been value for money in this instance it wasn’t. Nobody wants green mouldy items delivering. The order also arrived at 9pm at night.
First time
First time, but 50p for 6 potatoes was a bit steep. 50p for 500 ml of milk? Cheaper in shops. And they left their crates? Apart from that on if you don't drive, but if i was really on my arse i'd be disappointed and hungry.

Also, intercepting food waste is important if it can still be used. That's what we do.
Made previous purchases online for…
Made previous purchases online for delivery without problems, day I booked for delivery nothing arrived, I sent an email asking whats happened, reply had inappropriate messages + excuse delivery persons on leave, 1) why take my booking if not able to deliver😱 2) why couldn't they contact me to explain situation🤔 3) Inappropriate personal messages & opinions should never be allowed🤬🤬🤬
