I've been a regular purchaser from the surplus to purpose warehouse for about a year now. They stock a whole range of items. There is always plenty of breads, fruit and veg to fill your boxes aswell as baking mixes. Many other items are subject to change as they are intercepted from difference places thay would otherwise dispose of them. It makes each visit unique and admittedly I do get a bit excited when I visit as you never know what you'll come away with.

Their delivery service and website has come on leaps and bounds. I recently purchased 80 cans of pop and a big box of food for £32.50. We made some lovely casseroles during the week with the veg. They also threw in some treats for our dogs (all online orders currently get free items if you add them to your basket).

I appreciate this review probably sounds like advertising but it's not! I love the place, they do an incredible job and it's a great way to save money and stop food wastage!

The delivery was just what I had expected. Plus I got 4 free gifts which was really good. Easy to communicate with too about your delivery.

I ordered a surplus food box for delivery. It came on the correct day, with a good range of items, and the apples were tastier and in better condition than some of our regular supermarket ones! Good value for money.

Surplus to Purpose is an amazing initiative.
Everyone is a winner. We save food that would go to landfill and we purchase food that would be thrown away but anyway had a fraction of the cost.
This week in my fruit and vegetable boxes we got a Pomelo - never had one before. It was delicious . I made a tasty fruit salad for 4 including strawberries, grapes , pear pomelo, clementines , apples and bananas- so juicy . We also got some long stem cauliflower , never had that before , so looking forward to that. I buy 2 boxes and it lasts a good week to 10 days . I usually give some food away as well.
So pleased they deliver as well. Thank you to all the volunteers and hard workers

So helpful from start to delivery & always kept me informed

I understand there was a high demand before Christmas and I am grateful for the doll and two boxes I've ordered, but the boxes were filled with going off veggies (lots of salad) even the general box. Had to give out half to my neighbour just so it wasn't wasted more. Otherwise it was ok for the price but definitely two boxes was to much for us. Thank you
