Love the concept of this but in reality it hasn't worked for the last few weeks for us. We ordered a box expecting it to arrive on the Mon but it didn't arrive. It's tricky if you're relying on it to feed the family and it doesn't come....

Hi a box full of mainly fruit and vegetables. I have not ordered before and may not again. I have been and collected my own box before. I know it's hard to please everyone, but I need things that 3 children will eat including, crisps, potatoes, bread and cakes.

I paid for a 24 pack of coke, it didn’t arrive I emailed but haven’t had any reply.

Eveytime I have ordered a box. It has been delivered late.

The boxes used to be so good, now they are mediocre at best. My last box contained rotten butternut squash, very out of date army ration packs and very out of date tinned food. I will not be ordering again.

Really good selection of vegetables and some baked / tinned items that would have easil .cost 3x as much in the shops. Was a small problem but they rectified it really quickly. Delivery person was lovely too!

Great variety of fresh , tinned and drinks in my delivered box.

My box was delivered when I was told it would be and contained a great selection of food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

We hired Surplos to Purpose to cater an event for around 40 people and couldn't be more impressed with the service and food. Communication was easy, it was good value for money, delivery was smooth, and the food was interesting and delicious. Lots of event attendees were impressed and the ethos behind the organisation makes a really good talking point. Overall, I'd really recommend Surplus to Purpose and would happily use them again.

I received my 3rd delivery really good value for money its a shame at the moment they stopped delivering if and when you do I will be definitely ordering again

Replay easy to use, ordering online certainly makes a massive difference using this service.. especially the fruit and veg selection. Not only am I saving money the fact that its also helping to reduce waste, and I always try and pay it on, which means I can pay for a box for someone else who needs a parcel.

Have shopped here a few times. I think the CEO of Surplus to Purpose may need to weed out the fake 1 star reviews … the person leaving them has left 4 out of 5 one star reviews??? If you overfill a crate or take lots of 1 per person only items then it is correct that you are asked to pay the correct amount… that doesn’t make the company or the person asking you racist… or made up comments about fake family members and favouritism??? The account left by that reviewer simply did not happen. The rules are the same for everyone.. 1 crate is 1 price.. 1 and a half crates is priced at that even if you balance it all in one crate until it topples off the top. It was right when they were pulled up on taking all the stock… leaving nothing for some other families…horrid behaviour… and well done to the staff member for dealing with it so politely and calmly .. people were seething at their behaviour.. so greedy… they could even be heard saying they were going to write a bad review to get them into trouble!
The place is great, the staff are excellent, Nasreen handled everything like a professional!! Well done !!
