I would like to say a huge thank you to Anwar and Chloe at Survey First for the exceptional service we received.
My partner was considering purchasing a bungalow, and I arranged for Survey First to carry out a Level 2 survey on her behalf. We were extremely impressed with the thoroughness of the survey and the detailed report, which was around 70 pages long.
Anwar identified a number of significant issues with the property that we simply would not have been aware of without such a thorough inspection. Having carefully gone through his report, my partner ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase.
Although obviously disappointing at the time, we are actually very grateful that Anwar found these problems before the purchase went ahead. His report gave us the information we needed to make what could have been a very important and potentially costly decision. In that respect, the survey was absolutely invaluable.
Anwar was fantastic throughout. Whenever I contacted him, he responded very quickly and was always helpful, approachable and happy to answer any questions I had. It was reassuring to know that we could contact him and receive a prompt response.
I would also like to give a special mention to Chloe, who was absolutely lovely whenever I called. The phone was always answered within a couple of rings, and she was consistently friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful. That sort of personal service makes such a difference and is something that is sadly not always easy to find these days.
From our first contact with Survey First through to receiving the completed report, we felt that we were in very good hands. The professionalism, communication and genuine helpfulness of everyone we dealt with were exceptional.

Anwar did an Inheritance Tax valuation report. I was impressed with the website which sets out the different services he provides. Prompt and efficient communication. Competitive pricing. I booked Anwar through Survey First for a flat I was buying. Anwar provided a really clear report for the flat,and followed up with an in depth call, highlighting all the things I needed to be aware of. I had to pull out of that flat but used Anwar again for the second flat. He was equally efficient, and really went the extra mile to explain everything in plain English, and clear about the most important things to note. All with really down to earth friendly guidance. Great communication and a fast turnover

Anwar completed a RICS Survey Level 2 Report (survey only) for us a few weeks ago. As first-time buyers, we were a bit overwhelmed by all of the information out there and all the things one has to do/ consider when buying a house. Booking a survey with Survey First was the easy part and reasonably priced too. Foyez promptly booked us in and access to the property was quickly arranged. I had a pre-survey call with Anwar to run through some specific points and discuss what he would cover. Not long after the survey was carried out, Anwar called again to highlight his key findings before issuing us with a clear and thorough report, with photos, a few days later. The whole experience has been so straightforward and invaluable. We are currently acting on his advice ahead of exchange of contracts but feel much more confident in our first property purchase.
