Disappointing
Reading these reviews I wish I had done so prior to my experience. The service was recommended by a friend who’s pieces she ordered were beautiful.
My experience however was disappointing. I dropped my flowers 20th September 2022. Waiting for an email or message confirming they were dried, the message never came. I messaged on 2nd March asking for an update as I had received nothing. My reply was that messages were archived and that I hadn’t paid a deposit, whereby I had to send photographic proof the deposit was sent the day the flowers were dropped off.
I was told The colour of the flowers had faded. There was then a lot of communication back and forth regarding the proof of my deposit payment and quite frankly excuses as to why it’s not Suspended Petals fault an auto email wasn’t sent confirming the flowers we’re dry.
I was then waiting for a picture of my flowers to see the now faded colour of them. The pictures were never sent. On 13th March I was told the pictures would be sent shortly. After no reply I messaged back 8 days later asking for the faded flowers to be returned back to me as I had seen no images of the flowers condition. I was then told that if they were posted to me they would get damaged in transit.
I didn’t want to collect the flowers myself as from the exchange of messages I felt quite uncomfortable with the abrupt nature of the replies I was receiving to meet face to face.
I have lost my deposit and my wedding flowers.
A friend prior to my experience received a beautiful tea light and letters however I just wanted to share my experience. A lot of tears had been shed over these flowers.

We delivered the bouquet to Ronni on…
We delivered the bouquet to Ronni on the 2nd Oct 2022 and placed an order for two tea lights on the 23rd Nov 2022. Due to the time of year we agreed to wait until after Xmas for the items.
By Feb 23 we hadn’t heard anything so we chased. Ronni responded on 9th Feb stating the items were in the final stages and would be sent to us the following week.
By 6th March 23, we hadn’t received the items or heard from Ronni so we chased again. She replied the following day to say the pieces needed extra work and would be with us soon.
By 5th April we still hadn’t received the items, we chased again and received an auto response that stated Suspended petals would no longer be responding to enquiries about orders. I find this very unprofessional given it had been 5 months since payment and we still hadn’t received our order. Anyone in this situation would want to chase their order and receive an explanation.
I decided to contact Ronni by phone to find as by this point I just wanted a resolution.
Ronni contacted me later that day to state she had lost our order but had started making more tea lights as she still had my bouquet. As this had been going on for 7+ months and their own T&Cs state that flowers are destroyed after 8, I don’t believe the flowers are from my bouquet but by this point I just wanted a resolution and so agreed. In hindsight I wish I’d asked for a refund.
Once Ronni returned from her holiday I was advised the items would be posted on 2nd June and received by the 3rd. By the 5th I hadn’t received the items so asked for a full refund. I received a reply to state there had been an issue with collection although we were never informed of this. I eventually received the items on the 7th June 23, 8 months after the order was made.
The items are of satisfactory quality however, not what was ordered. We ordered one tea light to contain gypsophila and eucalyptus but neither tea light does. By this point, I was exhausted from trying resolve the situation and frustrated that I didn’t want to continue having discussions. I have just put this down as a bad experience. I want to tell people about my experience as it was so awful, people should be aware before purchasing items.
This order was over £100 and above anything else, these were my wedding flowers and held more sentimental value than anything else.
I remained polite throughout this whole experience but Ronni treated me and the sentimental value of my flowers with complete disregard. I’m not happy with the outcome as the items aren’t what we asked for and I’ll never get my wedding bouquet, or the opportunity to have a lovely keepsake of them back. I don’t believe Ronni was truthful throughout this process and it was nothing but a stressful experience from start to finish.
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO SUSPENDED PETALS REPLY
Looking at other 1 star reviews, all have received a similar response to the one below. The response below is not truthful and doesn’t address the issues.
I read the T&C’s but the point has been missed. It was the continuous responses saying we would receive our order the following week etc. you weren’t honest with us, that's what my problem with the service was. This point is also irrelevant because the order was lost. At that point the T&C's no longer applied because the contract had been broken and I was informed that you had lost the order, not royal mail. You stated ‘I can’t find them’. This would have been the opportunity to inform me that Royal Mail had lost the order.
Its also states the order was shipped on the 5th June. Again, the issue hasn’t been addressed. You stated it would be shipped on the 2nd and received on the 3rd. This was another occasion I had to chase you when you could have kept me informed.
Although sorry I’m not happy with the final product the issue hasn’t been addressed. I’m not happy because it wasn’t what was ordered.
You also state we didn’t contact ou until May. We contacted you in Feb, March, April and May, which can be evidenced.
It also states my flowers weren’t treated with disregard. You may not believe so but the way you’ve treated us over the past 8 months has left me feeling like that. Unfortunately, the way you’ve made me feel isn’t something you can argue.
You haven’t received communication from me about the final product because after all the stress/frustration I have accepted that this was just a terrible experience and I no longer want to communicate with you. All I’ve done is leave an honest/factual review of my experience.
FURTHER UPDATE
Again, the updated response below does not address my issues and is a generalised response. You admitted to losing the items so I don’t accept it was RM at fault, and so I deem the contract broken. My review is factual and informs others of the potential issues they’ll face.

Disappointed
It’s hard to express how disappointed I am with this service but reading her other reviews has really resonated with me. I don’t want other brides ending up in the same position.
After dropping the flowers to Ronni, I had no concerns and looked forward to preserving my wedding flowers. The bunch given to her was expansive as it included my own bouquet, my mums flowers, some from bridesmaids and spares left on tables. We hoped to do a big order for all of us.
5 months passed and I heard nothing. I messaged Ronni and heard nothing for 14 days ‘her notifications were switched off’. I had to send her a photo of my flowers and full name. I then asked for a photo and had to wait a further 14 days and she was either ‘on holiday’ or ‘WhatsApp had blocked her’. I found her difficult to correspond with.
I decided that I no longer wanted to proceed with the process and then realised she has increased the cost of each item on the website- a pack of 4 coasters is now £100+.
When I finally received a photo of the flowers that had been dried, I was disappointed. I understand some flowers can’t be saved and some would lose their quality but there were hardly any left at all. I feel it’s important to note a range of flowers in my bouquet were already dried.
I wished to collect my flowers a they were and her response was I either pay £150 to cancel and collect my flowers or spend over £100 on her products.
I’m gutted that my flowers will now basically end up in the bin but thankful some bridesmaids dried their own flowers and have offered to let me have them.

Just disappointed
A few days after our wedding, it’s dawned on me that I wanted to keep the flowers as a keepsake, after searching online, we found Ronni who wasn’t too far from us, after a quick phone call we could deliver the flowers to her by hand and paid our deposit. Lovely lady and reassured us that our flowers would be looked after.
To our delight we were glad we got the flowers to her in time before they died and couldn’t be used.
After lots of back and forth messages on instagram (nothing was communicated through emails) to see where our order was at, I had to keep reminding Ronni that we hand delivered to her personally and this was ‘July 2022’ and I had to send her photos of our flowers to remind her which ones were ours.
I understand Ronni works by herself, it must be really hard chasing everyone’s emails and messages, but what’s frustrating is seeing her take on even more work for herself and she quoted to me that she was behind as had 80 bouquets to get through, this then makes it difficult to know who’s bouquets are who’s and doesn’t give you much confidence.
After reading reviews I realised we would not be getting our order as soon as we’d expected.
Seeing her social media of other people’s work, made it feel as though we’d been forgotten about.
Lots of stories on her Instagram about feeling deflated about reviews and getting orders wrong which then made it even more concerning.
I again messaged in ‘Feb 2023’ to ask about our order, I was advised it was going to take 2-3 weeks max, but still nothing!
I then chased this up and was told there was some defects that need fixing.
We then had lots of missed communications regarding whether my order was being posted or collected.
My husband went to collect in the end as I just wanted my order after waiting 9 months.
Website states ‘Communication is a big part of what we do, we take great care to keep you updated at every stage of the preservation process’. -
I just feel like this needs working on personally as we didn’t get any form of communication regarding the stages.
We eventually received our order ‘April 2023’
Review on product-
My husband showed my mother in law before heading home, she made a comment about them not being the best.
Once I received my resin letters, I’m not going to lie, I was just as disappointed as some of the reviews I had seen.
They had marks and bubbles on the surface and did not have that glossy shine that you see on her Instagram. The letter ‘T’ has a huge dent in the side. They feel rough to touch. As for the flowers, the roses do look dead. I’ve tried to display the letters on our wedding photo shelf but in all honestly, they just don’t stand out and are very wobbly!
I emailed Ronni the same night I received my order, stating the marks and bubbles.
I was told to use a damp microfibre cloth to clean them to get rid of any finger prints or marks, I had sent videos to show Ronni what I meant regarding the quality of the pieces.
Ronni did say to drop the pieces of to her and she will fix the imperfections but I’m generally exhausted with the whole process.
I’m sorry for this review but I have to be honest and I’m not entirely happy with the quality, the resin moulds and the dead looking flowers.
Edit as I’ve seen your reply!!
How dare you lie in your reply? Absolutely disgusting that you are making out the customers are to blame for the defects?!
I did send you videos but they are very clear with what I was trying to explain to you.
We have paid for something that is not a professional finish.
You have also lied about showing them to my husband, he’s just confirmed that on collection (and yes out of hours which you were absolutely fine with) you handed him the box and shut the door!!
As for messages via instagram, you never told me to communicate through emails and I had to search you on the internet to get your email address.
My review was not as bad as others I’ve seen. I would not recommend this business for the attitude received and for the poor quality of unfinished pieces.
We are relying on a business to keep our flowers safe, a sentimental keepsake and it’s been ruined!
I did say they looked pretty at first glance, it was not until a closer inspection at how poor they looked, I did email you straight away as I wanted to have evidence that the defects were as soon as we received them, as seems like you are putting the blame onto your customers.

Absolutely heartbreaking my flowers are dead!
I have been debating on and off whether or not to write a review but after almost a month of no reply to my 2nd email after receiving my pieces (which I was told my 1st went into junk) I still have a niggle.
After reading other reviews I feel my experience has been similar.
I first contacted Roni the day after my wedding (July 22) and received a quick reply that I could drop my (fresh) flowers to her before leaving to go to the airport for honeymoon. I had no concerns at this point, I expected to wait a while before hearing more knowing the flowers needed to dry etc…
In September I chased to see how my flowers were getting on - the first message was never responded to as apparently went to a requested inbox - which is strange as we had previously messaged with no issues.
Once I got a reply, I was asked to send a photo of my flowers as she had two orders with the same name.
Following on from this we exchanged messages about what I could do with my flowers… I opted for x2 candle holders and a cube which I requested a single white rose on a bed of eucalyptus. When placing my order I also reiterated this request on my order notes.
I was told 6-8 weeks my order would be completed.
I chased at the start of December and was told they should be received in time for Christmas. NOTHING.
I then chased again 3rd February for an update in which I was told it was being worked on and we should receive them the following week.
Whilst away for the weekend (23rd Feb) luckily my neighbour text to say she had a parcel for us (which the postman was going to leave outside the house). We had no warning this delivery was due to arrive and it could have easily been stolen if it wasn’t for my kind neighbour.
Anyway once home - we opened the box and the disappointment hit! I’m just not quite sure they are as I had expected.
I have since emailed to tell Ronni of my disappointment only to receive a very delayed response saying my email had gone to junk and that I was notified about the risks. After my 2nd reply - radio silence.
I sent pictures of my flowers which I took just before I dropped them off. And photos of my finished pieces.
I feel the preservations I received have lost all colour (which I was possibly expecting some change), they no longer look “alive” and I am really struggling to see any of the eucalyptus in any of the pieces.
The cube we discussed (and also noted on the order) was to be a single white rose on a bed of eucalyptus however, this is not what’s been preserved. The cube has two large flowers one of each colour (both look dead) and some pampas - no eucalyptus that I can see at all.
I can see some bubbles in the resin on all pieces again I expected this but the pieces are not quite as shiny as others she advertises on instagram pictures - mine seem to have a dull matt finish with scratches rather than any gloss/shine.
I am so sorry to be writing a review like this (it has taken me a while to decide if I should), I understand these pieces of work take a lot of time, I just don’t want other brides to have there flowers destroyed the way I feel mine have been.
I did read about the colour changes and possible bubbles and totally understand that’s a risk and that can happen.
The more I look at them the more upset I get - I’ve showed my parents and my florist who even questioned if they are my flowers?! Another resin artist cannot be sure but thinks my flowers have been “flash cured” which is why they in this state.
I feel bad complaining as I know a lot of work goes into these things. I guess I’m just feeling very frustrated as I invested a lot of money into these and feel disappointed they are not as I had remembered them being.
In comparison to the picture I took of them the day I dropped them off VS their resin state - they are just totally different, wilted/brown and dead looking.
My friend showed me a picture of her preservation from another artist (Sept 22 wedding and received March 23) and the quality is worlds apart - that artist has kindly offer to recreate my flowers at a discounted cost, which is so kind but I just don’t have the money to keep paying out.
I just feel so annoyed that someone can do this to something which should be a very sentimental memory piece and to even claim they look beautiful and then not respond to emails nor offer any type of compensation or ownership when my flowers have quite simply been ruined.
You offered to re-make with some of my flowers you still have left but I said not to waste your time. I’m not convinced that they will look anymore “alive”, especially since we are now 9 months on. And I do question why you would still have my flowers? As they should be unique to my order which as far as you were aware had been completed and told me they looked “beautiful”.
If there was an option to upload pictures I would. A lot of people seem to be having the same issues with this business and I do not feel this is a reputable business.

Really gutted
Really gutted - I paid my deposit in June and hand delivered my flowers to Ronni at the end of September. After asking a number of times for an initial update it took months for a response when I was advised she was not sure which flowers were mine. I then sent pictures of my flowers as requested and received no further response. I have since emailed, WhatsApped, and messaged via Instagram and the website and nothing again until mid-Feb, again asking me to send pictures of the flowers. Chased a number of times since and nothing. I completely respect this is a small business but the lack of communication and service has been really disappointing.

Little to no communication & unfinished goods - disappointed on such an expensive order
I placed an order for a very large quality of items and even added further to my order. The first order placed was for 10 placemats, 10 coasters and 2 candle holders placed in May 2022 and the second for 7 additional candle holders in July 2022. After months of messaging/calling/emailing/whatsapping, I finally get replies, basically once a month-ish, with no real information as to when my items would arrive. Getting to December, still no items, I had to beg on messages to get an answer if I would receive my goods in time for christmas as some were presents for my family. I finally got an answer with only 1/2 the order has been shipped on the 9th December - luckily the ones I needed for presents. All were finished well and looked amazing, I was happy, but it took 6-7 months to get anything. Feeling hopeful for the remained of my order to follow shortly, christmas and new year came and went. I was messaging/calling every 3 days, no answer, I was at the end of my patience. Tuesday 31st January 2023, I finally got a reply - this is now 8 months after my wedding and order - they will arrive this week. I have now (Thursday 2nd February 2023) just received the balance of my order and honestly, I am hugely disappointed and upset. What was left to arrive were the 10 placemats. I have received 3 which are significantly thicker than the others and 3 are totally unfinished - sharp edges and bubbly - they haven't been sanded and rounded. Im just so upset, these are my precious wedding flowers which I hoped would be preserved and looked after as if they were their own, and honestly I feel let down. I have contact the company with images of the issues, with no reply yet. I think honestly I deserve some money back as its taken so long and the state of the placemats which were not cheap by any stretch, are not what I expected to receive based on the price I paid. Please be weary of the lack of communication and especially with a large order.

Messaged the sellers a few times in regards to an update and was told will let me know. Then did not recieve an email back. Emailed again and no response. I was then sent an email saying its sent out for delivery when arrived packaging well very nice. The items weren't smoothly finished, the glass is dull. I emailed the company again in regards to this to ask them if this is normal and still no reply. Very disappointed as I paid alot off money for what I ordered and they have my wedding flowers in.

Couldn’t be happier with the service. Incredible turn around time and the finished product was class. Great to work and deal with. Thanks ronni
Brilliant service
Brilliant service, always contactable. Showed me rough ideas beforehand, to help me decide.
Beautiful finished piece. Would recommend.
Lovely wedding mementos
Ronni dried my daughter’s wedding bouquet beautifully and made resin letters and candleholders with the flowers embedded.
They are quite lovely and very much appreciated. Reason four stars not five is that the letter F does not stand up due to weight imbalance. Apparently it is stated on website that some letters won’t stand, but we didn’t see that and so be aware.
Otherwise whole process fine and lovely product. Ronni very helpful.
