Our car broke down, and we had to make an emergency stop on the road. We waited for a vehicle recovery truck to arrive, which finally came 30 minutes later. The driver informed us that, due to the law, he could only take two people with him. I decided to let my parents go with the truck, and I planned to walk to the nearby train station. Fortunately, the police officer with badge number EB351 arrived at the scene just three minutes later. The officer was a warm-hearted individual who acted professionally, asked what went wrong, worried about my safety and gave me a lift. I could not be more grateful for what the officer did for us.

Funny that when ever I report anything to sussex police it is never a crime, 2 slashed tyres, stolen tools, somebody following me and taking pictures of me, so must women who are stalked and not menb, apparently none ot these are crimes, or is it that there is no glory and they might actually have to work fora living.

What a complete and utter waste of time sussex police are, but that seems to be the whole story of British policing.

If you make a complaint against the police they remember your name and mark you down as a trouble maker.
When you meet them in the flesh you can see the hatred in their eyes.
If the police had a boxing team they would get totally destroyed by civilians. 🤔😠🤔 They have no intention of KEEPING THE PIECE!

Horrendous experience you report a crime then they book a phone call appt but then call from a private no so will not connect so nothing happens people get away with everything sussex police are a complete waste of time and money

This is probably the strangest review I will ever make.
I was a visiting your custody centre I was treated with respect and professionalism and the coffee is very nice and the food five stars.
With regards to the cell the walls and doors are very solid which I regretfully found out by injuring my hand.
The police and custody centre looked after me in hospital and was treated very well

If I could give a zero score or lower then I would but unfortunately 1 star is as low as I can go here.

This is a brief precis of what my elderly parents (now in their mid eighties) experienced at the hands of my two younger siblings and their cronies. After a stream of abuse and underhanded behaviour over the last 2 years, my parent's were finally run out of town whilst Sussex Police just metaphorically stood there and watched. Following countless incidents, video evidence of masked intimidation, malicious calls and so forth... my parents have now relocated to another county due to the ineptitude of this force. We were even visited by a police officer just before we sat down for our lunch on Christmas Day 2024 because my sister was worried that she couldn't contact my mother. My dear mother wanted nothing do do with her and this was a totally unwarranted intrusion!

Both my father and I have asked why these incidents have been largely ignored and we are still waiting for answers. What makes things worse is that I used to be a police officer many years ago and know and understand how things should be done. It's called being invested in what you are doing - being professional. This sort of behaviour would never have been tolerated in my day and especially when concerning the elderly or vulnerable. Sadly, one of my siblings' cronies is a retired Sussex Police Officer. How truly sickening!

Abysmal… clueless on how to care for vulnerable people. Appalling skills re communication with vulnerable people… like me and resulting in dishing oit injunctions… you should be ASHAMED of yourselves for FAILURE of duty of duty towards vulnerable people.

I am not happy about the UK Police neither the Government and the Law of the country. You are the country of animal abusers. And pretty much caused my mental health to go down by your actions.

Where do I start, firstly the pillows were too hard, I just want to state I am not an addict, but I did not appreciate them taking my phone, the wall paper was non existent, someone kept peeking at me and the staff had no consideration for a victim, considering I had subjected to being caught by the law.

DONT KNOW A DASHCAM FROM A HEADLIGHT!

The worst ever environment, less trustworthy, more against the law, more adept of disgracing decent individuals, unlike many of them.

Unfortunately there is so much negativity at the Police at the moment but I would like to thank the 2 officer's who attended my property regarding the concerns for my son. Once contact was made with him they rushed to him and helped him back home. Please accept my apologies for my bluntness. Thank you for your professionalism at this time.

Absolutely horrendous service. All they do is interrupt you after asking questions and put words in your mouth and then when you try to correct them they say with such authority to not interrupt them. Complete joke, they are meant to serve the public, not the other way around.

Joke! 8 of them at a speed trap in Felbridge tonight... Yes 8 of them.

Disgraceful waste of tax payers money & keeping serious crime unattended

I am currently waiting for a DBS check to enable me to start my new role. As an up to date DBS is required for the position, I am unable to work until this has been completed. Sussex police have had the application for 97 days (the check should take no more that 28 days). I have had no police involvement with this force or even lived in the area. My previous DBS completed in march evidences this. I have escalated this twice with the discourse and barring service and have contacted the force myself to enquire as to why there has been a 3 month delay. Sussex police responded saying they were just busy and there was nothing they could do to speed this up. The is no further opportunity to escalate this further and Sussex police have not provided any information as to when this situation will be rectified.
Disgusting service, inept force.

Corrupt, racist and homophobic and this is from someone who used to work for them for 8 years.
Whistleblower the whole way along those 8 years, so it says it all that they took 8 years to realise the reports were coming from me.
Report it or you are part of it is my logic!
