Utterly inept police force
Utterly inept police force. The police seem to have turned into some kind of crap mobile mental health support unit. Various crimes reported and nothing done, in fact they seem to support the perpetrator rather than the victim. Absolutely fuming at the lack of support during a campaign of harassment and antisocial behaviour from a neighbour
Stalked harassed threatened abused…
Stalked harassed threatened abused disrespected aggressive behaviour anger problems with these people complete amateurs poor communication skills ,confronted for opening a beer can 2 females one never said a word the other one was rude bad tempered disrespectful aggressive, I'm 67 yrs old I have medical problems , cannot always move fast have breathing problems just stopped fir a rest sitting on a step all of a sudden police girl face like thunder, I think she was so angry before she approached me her conduct was disgusting asked for her number and name she shouted at me 4 something and her name ka but didn't really want to give me any I d .
They don't have due diligence to resolve simple crimes.
I was involved in an incident. The police told me unless the incident was recorded on CCTV it will be shelved and not pusued.
Thats the same as saying, all crimes that are not recorded will be shelved. It's pathetic, as I was the witness and not a camera. In order to get out of the job of investigating certain crimes they consider petty, this is the line they come out with. Its so unprofessional.
They are told to say this by their superiors to save time.
I have a policy of not reporting any crime to the police now, no matter how trivial or serious it is, if I witness something.
To a very large degree they are a waste of your tax money. They follow a set of rules which are restrictive by nature, so as a result you get poor results.
If I ask you to cut the lawn but impose a restriction on you by using only scissors, the results will be poor.
Remember their moto.."if its not on CCTV we can't help you.
Don't waste your time.
A man said he was going to kill me then…
A man said he was going to kill me then proceeded to reverse his large van in to me and Sussex police won’t do anything because they’re lazy and don’t care
Called to report a missing vulnerable…
Called to report a missing vulnerable person. The missing person was known to be out of the Sussex area at the time (but home address was within Sussex, so I logged with them). The call handler was very thorough and took the information quickly and was considerate through the whole process.
In co-operation with Surrey Police (who aren't on TrustPilot), the missing person was located by Surrey and found safe and well after being missing for 18 hours. Kent Police were also involved though were a little late and the person had been found by that point, but the interaction was positive and professional.
My only suggestion for improvement, and it's more of a general issue rather than specific to this case, would be to establish better systems to communicate in realtime with other police forces. Kent mentioned the delay in their involvement was due to an internal dispute over which force was handling this case given it involved several counties working together to locate the missing person. I feel that potentially life-threatening case like missing people should have a centralised system where all forces view the same information under a single reference number rather than logging separate cases with each force.
Awful
Awful. Bikes everywhere, stolen bikes. And they do nothing. Not only nothing, when I told an officer, all I got was some excuse of we can't chase them. That's just a fat police officers way of saying we are lazy. So they just ride around, making noise at 3am and causing trouble, stealing more bikes from hard working people and the police in Sussex sit on Thier fat bums doing nothing. You don't even see police cars in Hastings unless there outside a cafe or shop where they are talking to friends and doing more of nothing.
Missing car
On a recent visit to Eastbourne, my husband parked the car to visit an optician but when it came to going back to the car, he couldn't remember where he had left it. After a fruitless search by ourselves, we were directed to the Police Station and the people on the desk couldn't have been more helpful!
They first spoke to the traffic wardens and police on the beat to look out for the vehicle and then asked 2 Community Support Officers who were between appointments, to take us around the town to see if the car could be discovered. After some minutes and driving along roads we'd never seen before, we were delighted to find the car!
We would like to thank all the members of Police staff we came across for their help and support, given so willingly and with humour! In particular we would like to mention the 2 Support Officers : Chloe and her partner who were so kind and intuitive and I think will make excellent Police Officers in time.
Thank you sincerely

"Racial discrimination against disabled individuals by local police."
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing harassment and discriminatory behavior I am experiencing at the hands of Sussex Police Officer C.M.
As a disabled individual who relies on prescribed medical cannabis, I am deeply troubled by Officer C.M repeated attempts to prevent me from using my legally prescribed medication, despite my full compliance with the law.
I have been using medical cannabis since 2019 under the guidance of my doctor, and I possess all necessary documentation, permits, and prescriptions.
The law enacted in 2018 permits the use of prescribed medical cannabis in public places.
Although I have the legal right to use my medication in public, I have never had to do so.
Due to my disability and limited life expectancy, I spend most of my time at home and use my medication there.
The complaint against me seems purposely aimed at disturbing and making life harder for me as a disabled person, especially since I do not need to consume my medicine outside.
Despite my clear and lawful rights, Officer C.M visited my home a month ago.
I welcomed him in a friendly manner, showed him my prescription and medication, and explained my situation.
Nevertheless, he continues to harass me, clearly ignoring my legal rights and the documentation I provided.
Furthermore, it has come to my attention that a neighbor has installed cameras and lights directed at my and nearby neighbor entrance, recording my private activities within my own home(Living room, table, sofa etc).
When my other neighbors and I reported this to Officer C. M, he dismissed our concerns and instead focused on trying to stop me from using my medication.
This selective enforcement and disregard for my rights is deeply distressing.
He has a clearly visible, hostile demeanor towards the neighbor above.
The harassment has reached a point where I feel like a prisoner in my own home, constantly monitored and threatened.
Officer C.M behavior is not only discriminatory but also inhumane, creating a hostile environment that exacerbates my already fragile health condition.
He even threatened me, stating that if I don't stop consuming my medication, despite the potential deterioration of my health, I would continue to face problems and harassment.
To make matters worse, Officer C. M visited my home again on 2 August at 19:46, forcing me once more to justify my medication use and disregarding the documentation I had already provided.
As a British citizen with an Eastern European background, I deeply feel that Officer C.M behavior towards me is racially motivated. From the moment we met, I sensed a shift in his demeanor, which has only intensified my distress.
I urge everyone to promptly address this issue to prevent further instances of corrupted behavior.
Officer C.M behavior is a blatant abuse of power and a clear violation of my rights as a disabled person.
I seek protection and assurance that my legal rights will be respected and that such harassment will cease.
Additionally, I will be forwarding a similar report to all organizations that protect the rights of disabled individuals and to the local Member of Parliament. Also local and national media platforms."I have undeniable evidence."
If this harassment continues and Officer C.M persists in his actions, I fear for my mental well-being and am considering taking drastic actions.
Addendum: I can't understand, but I really can't get it in my head. Why do we vote for local police inspectors when this inspector's subordinates visit our homes and abuse their power? For example, the policeman comes, knocks on the door, and says, "Hey, there is a complaint against you. You will not legally and regularly consume your prescribed medicine because we want it that way, and it does not matter what the law passed by the government. We are the law," says police officer Marchant.
And I "I will cause you trouble."
This is a very clear example and story of how vulnerable, seriously ill, and disabled people are driven to drastic actions, such as suicide, after being mistreated and discriminated racially against by local police structures.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Won't investigate threats to kill a child
Sussex police allow neighbours to make death threats to children and cannot even be bothered to take a statement. I don't have any faith in the police anymore and worry that when or if something really serious were to happen we have no one to turn to anymore. They are giving out a message that you can do whatever you like and there are no consequences. Disgusting.
STOP HASSLING ME DOWN THE ROAD
STOP HASSLING ME DOWN THE ROAD. 5 Occasions now, your cars have slowed down giving me the evils. My normal high regard for you went out the window a couple of months ago, when you took the side of a drug dealer that lived above, and you gave some cobblers that i was making a noise and there were children in this block.
For your information there is no child in this block - she is mentally ill. And the bloke below complaining about noise has dementia.
Tho you wouldn't know that - cos frankly your pants at mental health issues.
Stay the hell away from me - or i will take legal action against you for harassing a vulnerable adult.
Your the last people i would report a crime to now.
I only signed that community resolution order to get rid of you. Thanks for hassling me at the time, when i was in a care home.
Ive already sought advice from "crimebodge" the infamous youtuber. And rest assured i will have you, if you keep hassling me.
EDIT. Probably over reacted Sirs. But what you fail to realise is i dont react unless ive been getting abuse in the first place! Your attempted arrest, was a result of the dealer above seriously affecting my mental health, where i ended up in Sunningdale Gardens over Xmas to recover, and the months of loud noise, anti - social behaviour - and him flooding my flat twice. Why do you think Arun District Council Evicted Him?
I am a recluse - cos im paranoid in public. You paying me attention is aggravating my mental health.
You all do an excellent job. But dont be so quick to nick me first - before doing a bit of background intel first?
Roger Robinson xx
Very abusive
Very abusive. Lie on police reports.
Lied to the DVLA about me.
Unaccountable.
Very nasty oeoole. They're not police they're criminals.
To thank a lovely Brighton police officer
I would like to express my gratitude for the outstanding assistance provided by one of our local police officers in Brighton and Hove. Recently, while managing my restaurant, I encountered a challenging situation where an intoxicated individual and another person in need of help were leaning on my tables and appeared unaware of their surroundings. After several unsuccessful attempts to get help from emergency services and the police, I noticed an officer in a patrol car at a nearby traffic light.
Without hesitation, the officer EB624 responded to my request for assistance. He not only helped the individuals promptly but also called for additional support to ensure they received the care they needed. His quick action and professional demeanor were truly commendable and exemplify the dedication and service of our police force.
I am incredibly grateful for his support and would like to commend him for his excellent service to the community. Officers like him make Brighton and Hove a safer and better place for all of us. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Running over cow's now I've seen the footage and a pregnant one apparently.
Not once but twice.
This is a new breed of bullies and cowards the seed of the serpent 🐍.
Clearly police are the biggest criminals in our country today no-one trusts them no-one like them and the only words I have is hell awaits them. This life is short lived hell is real and eternal. First shooting dogs that were defenceless and terrified and now running down livestock who was also confused and frightened. Absolutely hate old bill so much I wouldn't even report if I was raped they never f""n learn.
Zero support
I have reported one crime after the other, committed by one person, my neighbour. She not only harasses, abuses, verbally assaukts and intimidates me she does the same to other neighbours. We have video recordings, CCTV evidence, witnesses etc but the police have done nothing, not one single thing. She, on the other hand lodged a false claim of assault, again we have witnesses who will attest she is lying but 2 officers attended immediately and this false allegation has the full support of Sussex police. The neighbour states she has a senior police officer for Sussex at her beck and call and we all now believe it. My trust and belief has gone.

Up at peas pottage I was in the correct lane to go on to the A23 police in the turn right only lane the lights changed and he cut across myself and another car to disappear at speed down the slip road I caught up with him at the BP services and told the officer his driving was pi## poor he told me that he was responding to a emergency to which I responded that he had time to stop to get coffee and food! He walked off
If you ware the uniform and are ment to be enforcing the law how about following the rules yourself
Or is it do what I say not what I do !!!
My experience with Sussex police.
My experience with Sussex police.
1/ Threatened with violence.
Had to move out of my home.
Called by police informing me they would come and speak with me.
They never appeared, gave me a crime number and I have heard nothing since.
2/ Threatened with serious violence in Arundel by two thugs who were backed up by others.
Called police who made it clear that they would not attend due to lack of officers available.
Watched as ploice cars were cruising lazily around the area!
3/ Bognor Regis.
Threatened by another individual who actually entered my home to make serious threats of violence on two occasions.
Police turned up to arrest him.
He was in, but they claimed he was not...
I was told they would arrest him when they found him and would be calling at his address regularly.
They did not arrest him, nor did they call at his addres regularly.
I received a call from Sussex police to offer community resolution.
ie me and the violent offender having a chat.
Not heard from them since...
3/ The most serious.
5 YES 5 suspicios deaths surrounding the same individual.
Reported to Sussex police that one was my mother.
Sussex police 'investigated' by an officer who went to see my mother's doctor.
According to this so called investigation my mother suffered from psychological issues.
I was seeing my mother up until the last few days before she died and she was never anything but perfectly sane.
As her friends will testify.
As her pharmacist will testify.
I know...I checked.
Her last words to me regarding her spiteful husband were;
"He hasn't fed me for two days, and he keeps diong it!"
The officer that came to my home berated me in a loud voice, told me the investigation was closed and that my mum was basically off her head, and accused me of being vindictive...I'm serious.
I have carried out my own investigation and found other suspicios occurences regarding the individual and the deaths surrounding him.
I have confronted him...and he just smiled.
He has never denied them.
I have attempted to report this to Sussex police.
They have not even attempted to interview me or take a statement over these most serious suspicions and this has gone on for over two and a half years!
Unreal.
This is everyday behaviour by the police now.
This is the norm.
This is a determined and driven systematic policy that has been going on for a number of years which has reached the point where it has become dangerous for those they claim to protect.
I had to walk away because that Sussex police were wilfully avoiding their oaths and obligations under the law.
Or were they?
What are the oaths now?
What are the obligations?
What is the new policy?
Racial discrimination
My mother, aged 69, endured a public assault and was subjected to racial slurs by a white English man in his late 40s. Despite immediate reporting to the police, Sussex authorities took nine days to respond. It's disheartening that if the roles were reversed, the response would likely be swifter. Sussex police's apparent racial bias led to a lack of arrests, investigation, or reprimand for the assailant's reprehensible behavior.
After being a victim of Sussex police I…
After being a victim of Sussex police I carried out an investigation into what is behind the police culture that has been created. What I found is that it comes from the police and crime commissioner and the judges. I have minutes from a meeting where a judge has said we need more crime as judges are being laid off. The police and crime commissioner has been funding and employing sub contractors since 2014 to actively groom and encourage persons to make false accusations. Why? Because for offences such as domestic abuse, rapes, harassment and stalking etc they can obtain funding from central government and the legal aid authority for conducting investigations. This provides status and money for the police and crime commissioner. But the funding is not available for investigations into false accusations, so contempt of court, perverting the course of justice, perjury etc is not investigated. Also because it would mean that the wrong doings of the police and crime commissioner and Sussex police would be identified and Sussex police would have to pay the victims and face seriouse criminal charges. So it all gets covered up. Police officers know this but can't do anything about it because they follow instructions from the the top. As this has been going on since Katy Bourne got involved we end up with the destructive culture that has been created within Sussex police. So good officers have left, rotten ones have remained, that have mentored the junior ones, that then leave when they realise what's going on. Maybe something will be changed soon following the report from HMICFRS.
...never has the public been so…
...never has the public been so underserved by what can only be described as an arrogant, lazy, criminal and incompetent police force that is totally unfit for purpose.
Sussex police don't investigate crimes or arrest criminals. Instead, they concentrate on bullying victims, being obstructive and, at a push, record crimes (a secretary can do that, doesn't need a person in a uniform).
They are a total disgrace, beholden and answerable to no one whilst being rude, dismissive, disrespectful and dishonest to anyone who questions them.
They should be ashamed of themselves. Is it any wonder they have lost the faith and respect of the public who they are supposed to serve?
Something needs to change before this county turns into a lawless, unsafe hellhole. A new police force employing honest, educated, competent and motivated officers perhaps?!
Shame on you
Have been harassed, assaulted and abused by 3 geneations of the same scumbag family, they have damaged properties and vehicles, they are all known to the police
They attempted to run us over on 2 occasions (should be attempted murder)
No perpetrator arrested even tho identified by 5 plus people
Upon reporting was told nothing they can do
This has been ongoing over multiple years tod the point it's not worth reporting anything
Items stolen from a house, no one even took a statement
I used to believe in the systems we had in the uk
Now none of it is fit for purpose
No police, dentist, doctors or hospital
This area is just poverty and addiction ridden and no one cares except the victims
If the police do show up its like having a bunch of kids there most the time
If a crime involves some form of investigation its just closed
