I've been studying Vietnamese with Miss Kim Ngân through SVFF, and I highly recommend both her and the program.

I've studied Vietnamese on and off for several years, but my progress accelerated significantly once I started working with Miss Kim Ngân. The information and instructions on the website were very clear. After having a trial lesson with my preferred teacher, I bought a package of my choice. Since then, I've had a lesson every week.

My teacher, miss Thuy Tien, is very bubbly, chatty and fun to have my lessons with. Besides that, as a teacher she's also excellent and sharp during the lessons. I'm having a good time and my Vietnamese has already improved a lot.

There are a lot of efficient tools on the website to practice and review your lessons as well. I'm using it everyday to exercise my vocabulary and grammar.

I was inspired to learn Vietnamese, my partner's native language to better connect with her and her family.

After several frustrating months trying a couple of the more popular language learning apps, I became frustrated with the progress, or lack thereof, learning the language. It felt very random and I'm a person who thrives on structure and repeatable habits.

Vietnamese is very difficult to learn. But the SVFF platform and my teacher, Miss Thuy Tien, have been phenomenal. With their approach, we tackle some common basic conversations at the start of every lesson flowed up by gradually introducing new concepts, both strengthening my understanding and expanding it in a feedback loop I really appreciate.
I'm not quite conversational, but I have seen steady, incremental progress that I am confident will allow me to speak with our friends and family in Vietnamese in the near future. Every day I feel a little more confident in my ability to understand and respond to our Vietnamese friends and family.

I've been taking lessons with Tien for almost a year now and it's been really fun. Our lessons are comprised of working out of the SVFF materials, her slides, flash cards, games and quizzes. We review week over week which helps with retention.

She also has homework for me that I work on outside of classes and has me journal when I go on trips to help with my writing skills and incorporating what I'm learning to my regular day to day.

Straight forward course that provides a strong basis for learning correct pronunciation. Miss Thủy Tiên is a kind, patient, and rigorous teacher that prioritizes speaking fluency. Material is well planned with lots of moduless, slides, flashcards, opportunity for pronunciation review, and AI-generated feedback for improvement. I look forward to my classes every week!

I have been doing Vietnamese lessons with Huu Thinh for the past few months and have had a great experience! Anh Thinh is patient and personable. His attentiveness and encouragement have helped foster a warm learning experience, and I feel I am quickly picking up the language. We even met up in Saigon for lunch when I went to Vietnam on vacation.

My instructor, Anh Thu’, has been an amazing instructor as I learned the alphabet and pronunciation of each of the six tones in the southern Vietnamese style. She has been very patient and provided insightful feedback to help me gain a strong foundation for the subsequent modules in this program. I think the program is set up well for beginners who feel overwhelmed at first in mastering the Vietnamese language (let alone differences in the northern versus southern accent). Each lesson is broken up into manageable sections with helpful hints and tips. As an American learning this language for the first time, I am already starting to see myself learning what I thought would be impossible. Five star for the SVFF program. I strongly recommend accompanying the program with a live instructor like Anh Thu’.

I've had 11 lessons now with em Minh Trang from SVFF and it has been a very enjoyable experience. Love all the different modules and interactive styles of learning that really helps break through the complexity and challenge of learning a new language. The online tools available for self-learning and practice are great too!

Ms. Thanh Trang is the most challenging person that pushes me through all of the obstacles that I faced so far. This platform has taught me how important it is to learn a language and Vietnamese is by far more interesting than what I have learned from other languages. I

I've been studying with Minh Trang for over 25 lessons and have seen really great improvements as I progress through my beginner stage of the Vietnamese language. Minh Trang has been super helpful and very patient as i take the time to learn, working in with my changing work and lifestyle roster.

The SVFF website has been quite helpful, although i find myself using the app a lot more as i have a busy lifestyle and i can pick the app up in my spare time.
I do think the website has more to offer if you can find the time to use a laptop or computer.

I highly rate SVFF and Minh Trang and recommend anyone looking to progress their Vietnamese language / writing / talking skills to give them a go.

Huu Thinh is a great Vietnamese teacher. He’s calm, patient, and easy to talk to, which makes lessons feel relaxed and enjoyable. He really takes the time to get to know you and your life, and he adapts lessons depending on how you’re feeling that day. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students. Highly recommend!

SVFF rất tốt! Nguyên Thảo is the best teacher. She teaches with grace and diligence. I genuinely have fun in our lessons. I grew up speaking Vietnamese, however have never spoken it well. I often mix Vietnamese and English together. With SVFF, my Vietnamese vocabulary has expended immensely. I'm using less English words to supplement. I can also read and write now, something I never imagined I could do. I look forward to continuing to strengthen my Vietnamese fluency with SVFF and their incredible instructors, including Thảo Nguyên!
