I would recommend SVFF to anyone looking to learn Vietnamese, for all levels of proficiency. My wife and I are studying with Ms. Nguyen Thao. She's very helpful in improving my Vietnamese and teaching my wife to learn a new language. She's been very accommodating and provides appropriate corrections when needed. Ms. Nguyen and SVFF has also been very helpful in resolving our questions and implementing our feedback.

Thao and SVFF have provided a great and helpful experience for me in starting my journey learning proper Vietnamese.

I fully recommend learning tiếng việt with SVFF. My teacher is Hữu Thịnh, and the lessons with him are always fun and helpful. He is easy to understand, and provides useful tips for the correct pronounciation.
Also, I enjoy studying with the flash cards provided in the app!

I can’t imagine a better experience. I've tried self-studying Vietnamese several times over many years, but never made much real progress. However, in less than two months of weekly meetings with Miss Kim Ngân with SVFF, I already feel more confident to speak Vietnamese and actually understand some spoken Vietnamese.

I've been learning Vietnamese (southern dialect) with Miss Kim Ngân through SVFF weekly for about two months now, and it has been a great experience! I tried learning Vietnamese in the past, but other programs weren't the right fit for me. SVFF provides a very clear curriculum with flexible scheduling, and em Kim Ngân is very skilled at teaching, which has made learning and studying much more practical and straightforward! The online lessons are fun and engaging, and I am given many opportunities to practice speaking, create my own sentences, and ask questions. Before SVFF, I had some knowledge about basic Vietnamese fundamentals, but I didn't get to build the confidence to use any of it even after a year of learning. Now, after weekly lessons with em Kim Ngân, I am quickly gaining more confidence to actually speak Vietnamese out loud. My Vietnamese has definitely improved so much in a short amount of time thanks to her disciplined teaching methods. I highly recommend SVFF for anyone looking to learn Vietnamese! :)

I've really enjoyed my Vietnamese lessons so far! I have them weekly with Miss Thanh Trang, and I've learned so much in the past two months. I may not always study outside the lessons, but I know there are plenty of resources they provide, such as the app, flashcards, and the ability to ask questions and receive answers outside of class times, which makes studying accessible. Miss Thanh Trang is very sweet, and I appreciate having a teacher around the same age as me, so there are lots of things we can relate to. Overall, love the experience. Would definitely recommend and they encourage me to learn.

I'm taking lessons with Miss Thảo Nguyên. The lessons have been very helpful in my learning. Cô Nguyên makes the lessons fun, and she is quick to add real life cultural examples where the language is used. The combination of a good teacher like Cô Nguyên and the online SVFF platform enhances my learning greatly.

Lessons with Miss Thảo Nguyên are always engaging. I try to use what we’ve studied so far to chat a bit at the beginning of each lesson so I can get used to using Vietnamese in normal everyday conversations, which probably delays the lesson plan by a few minutes but Cô Nguyên is super flexible and takes a few minutes to chat, ask follow-up questions, correct my pronunciation, and help me with unfamiliar vocabulary. During the lesson, Cô Nguyên is great at balancing textbook study and exercises with also applying the textbook lesson to real life situations. I also appreciate that she spends most of the lesson speaking in Vietnamese, occasionally switching to English if I have a question or need help understanding a grammar point or something in particular. Even though I’m a square-one beginner and only understand maybe 5-10%, I am not a native speaker nor did I grow up hearing it in my household so my ears are still getting used to hearing Vietnamese phonemes, so hearing her speak naturally in Vietnamese throughout our lessons is really helpful and motivates me to listen to Vietnamese podcasts and YouTube videos between classes to get even more listening practice.

Signing up for SVFF classes was easy, and email responses from the support team were timely when I had questions. It took some time for me to get used to navigating the SVFF platform and also understanding what I could do in the smartphone app vs the desktop/browser platform, but now I can find what I need easily. The online textbook in particular is unique to me, and I find the interactive design really engaging and useful with lots of activities, cultural info, vocab, etc. I also appreciate that my instructor is able to provide customized flashcards and quizzes on the app after each lesson. This is convenient and means I can review on my commute, waiting in line somewhere, or whenever I have some free time.

I've been working as a teacher here for nearly 3 years now. The orientation process for new teachers is thorough and welcoming, but what I value most is the supportive environment; colleagues and management are always there whenever I need help. Really great experience with Miss Kim Ngân and SVFF! have done two lessons with her so far and excited to keep going! SVFF really helps to be able to learn Southern Vietnamese when many resources are not.

Learning with my teacher Kim Ngân &SVFF has been a great experience. The textbook gives great baseline knowledge and the activities make it a lot more digestable. My teacher Kim Ngân adjust the course for my speed and incorporates realistic vocabulary and usage. For those looking to get started or those who are looking to improve in Souther Vietnamese, I would recommend.

I have been trying to learn Vietnamese on an app for years, but I have learned so much more, so quickly, by having one-on-one sessions with Ms. Kim Ngân. What I find most helpful is her patience with me in "checking my tone" to make sure I am pronouncing words correctly. Having someone listening and correcting in real-time is invaluable. I'm so glad I signed up for a package deal so that I can get in a lot of lessons before my trip to VN in May. Thank you SVFF!

SVFF and Huu Thinh has been extremely helpful in my Vietnamese learning. Thinh has been very patient and encouraging, and it has been great learning from him.

When it comes to tutoring for language, the teachers are the most important part, and from my experience SVFF's teachers are some of the best. I am learning with Hoài Thương and can't ask for a better teacher. She is experienced in teaching languages and can explain in a very clear manner. Even though I come from a language that has no tonal aspect whatsoever, she was able to teach it to me very quickly. Course materials are well selected for a number of different actual coversations and my teacher will also customize the learning based on my needs. There are different types of learning materials from quizzes, to text, to audio. And SVFF probably has the best use of AI as well, with automatic flash cards, feedback on phrases and pronounciation based on the lessons. It is also convenient to have these lessons online. I would highly recommend both SVFF and Hoài Thương as a teacher.

I've had nearly 15 hours of lessons with Miss Thảo Nguyên and it has been a very enjoyable and productive time. She is incredibly patient, friendly, caring and always makes the lessons fun and interactive. I highly recommend SVFF as a resource if you are interested in learning Vietnamese.

Anh Hữu Thịnh is a wonderful teacher and extremely accommodating. From sending a LOT of extra useful materials and catering the homework to trouble points, to reaching out and sharing his adventures / whats going on in Vietnam, it makes learning Vietnamese great (and helps to keep me motivated)! I highly recommend him for new and experienced learners alike! As the content becomes more advanced, he provides even more insight into Vietnamese culture and the differences between native vs textbook speaking

SVFF is also constantly improving and adding new features to the webapp / textbooks. This is great to see and is a huge plus compared to traditional textbook learning and college classes.

I have been learning Vietnamese with SVFF for a few years now, studying under multiple teachers, all of who have been excellent. I’ve learned a great deal and leave every lesson feeling happy and accomplished. The SVFF curriculum is well structured and builds logically from chapter to chapter, which has made learning feel very manageable and rewarding.

Over the years, I’ve also seen significant improvements to the SVFF website, as well as the creation of their app, which has greatly enhanced the learning experience. I especially enjoy the new flashcards and quizzes, as they make it easier to review current material and help it stick.

I’m currently learning with Miss Thảo Nguyên, and she has been a joy to study with. She pays close attention to pronunciation and accent, and she encourages a lot of conversation practice, which I believe has helped me improve significantly. She is always very friendly and supportive, and I would highly recommend her.

I started taking classes to improve my Vietnamese. Although I grew up in a Vietnamese home, I was taught Chinese as a child and felt self conscious to speak. Miss Nguyên was a great teacher. She was supportive and encouraging and was not afraid to go off script to adapt to the learners in her class. I really enjoyed her as a teacher and she was fun. Would recommend!
