iPhone 12

Bought iPhone 12 for my daughter with a new battery. The phone looks great, as described. Fast delivery. The device gets very hot when charging, that’s the only disadvantage. I thinks it’s because of the non-original battery.

Not fit for purpose.

I bought an Iphone 16 pro black titanium 128gb In Exellent Condition. The phone had worked normally for a month until i realised the battery was going down fast and my maximum capacity went from 100% to 92% in 2 weeks and i was only using my phone normally. My phone freezes at the home screen and in apps. My storage has ran out with only the bare minimum photos,and apps etc. I am extremely disappointed with the camera quality on my phone i had the iphone 13 before this and the camera quality on my 16 is shocking and it shakes in and out from the day i bought it. The photos are blurry even when my camera is cleaned. I do not recommend swappie as when i went to my local phone repair shop they told me it had fake parts and missing parts in the camera lenses. I spent €993 on this phone and it has been a waste of money. I am extremely disappointed.

We want to clarify that non orginal parts of the phone thing. We use genuine parts from recycled iPhones whenever possible. Otherwise, we work with trusted suppliers to source high-quality replacement parts, but these are not made by Apple.

This is because Apple does not supply parts to third-party companies like Swappie.

However, there is no need to worry. Every part we use goes through rigorous quality checks to ensure it works exactly as it should. Your phone is thoroughly tested and ready for daily use. Plus, every Swappie phone comes with a comprehensive warranty, so if there is a problem with the phone, we will get it fixed under our warranty.

Please note that now unfortunately that the phone has been repaired elsewhere that at Swappie, the phone's warranty will expire completely according to our warranty terms.

Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused!

New battery was old

Bought a phone and payed extra to get a new battery. The battery went bad and I got it exchanged. The shop assistant said that the battery was very old, couldn't have been new when I got the phone. The shop assistant also said that the interior was in bad shape, with screws missing and sort of "messy", like I had tried to fix things myself. But noone has opened the phone since Swappie did it.

Unfortunately, now that the phone has been repaired by a third party, the Swappie warranty on the phone will expire completely according to our warranty terms. If you still have problems with your phone, we recommend taking it to the repair shop where you last had it repaired, usually they have their own warranty for repairs.

I do NOT recommend selling your device…

I do NOT recommend selling your device to this company.
I sent in my phone, it arrived, and first they claimed they received something completely different (salt?!). Then later, they changed their story and said the package arrived empty. Two completely different explanations — how does that even make sense?
They asked me for proof, and I provided everything: the original receipt and even a police report. Still no proper resolution.
It’s been 1.5 months of back and forth with no real help, just delays and excuses. And of course, they’ll probably reply here with a generic “we’re sorry” message to look good publicly — but a sorry does NOT fix anything.
Very frustrating experience. Be careful.

Scam job

I sent i a two year old phone which had be encased in a very good Protective Shockproof Liquid Silicone Phone Case Cover with Anti-Scratch Microfiber Lining. It was put in the case cover before being used. When I sold it I looked at it carefully and saw NO damage to the case. Swappie reduced their offer by €57 stating that Device has deep scratches and/or extensive signs of wear and doesn't correspond to the condition indicated in the sales form.

Swapped just replied stating that they take pictures with bright lights and so the smallest scratches show up. However they reduced the offer by 25% stating there were deep scratches which could be seen easily. I could see nothing. Swappie also stated that microscopic dust can get into case and cause scratches that can only be seen with extremely bright light. The could be the case however I know there were no deep scratches. I would not have disagreed if they had reduced it by a small amount but 25% is way too much for scratches you have to use very bright light to see,

I would like to open more about our pricing process at Swappie. Because we buy iPhones with the intention of reselling them. Therefore, we have to take into account several factors, such as the resale value of the device, possible repair costs, availability and pricing of necessary parts, labor costs and much more.

In addition, even if your phone has a protective case, unfortunately, small debris and dust always get in between there, which causes scratches on the phone. Also when our technician takes pictures of the phone, a bright light is directly aimed at it so that even the smallest scratches are clearly visible. Therefore, in the pictures in the sales report, the signs of use are strongly emphasized, so we fully understand that they may not have been as noticeable in use.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, we hope you understand our pricing and consider choosing us again for future sales.

Fast delivery and great product quality!

I recently bought AirPods from Swappie and overall had a very positive experience. The delivery was quite fast, and the whole process was smooth.

The AirPods themselves work perfectly, no issues at all. They arrived clean and in excellent condition, exactly as expected. You can really see the attention to quality.
