If i could give zero rate i would

If i could give zero rate i would, terrible company, Do not listen to what client needs even from a meet and greet and then try clutch at straws as they dont have the staff. They send the opposite support Worker to what the client needs
It is so bad even management said they would terminate the contract if it was their family

Dear Claire,

We're very sorry to hear that your experience with our care provision fell short of what you and your loved one needed. We take this seriously and would like to address the specific points you've raised.

Before care began, our team carried out a thorough in-person assessment. As is standard practice, this relied on the information provided by the enquirer and the client's circle of support, as we have no first-hand experience of the client beforehand. In this case, some key behavioural support needs were not shared with us ahead of the first visit. As a result, we weren't able to match the right carer profiles from the start, which limited the success of some early visits and, more importantly, raised genuine safety concerns for our staff.
We were also asked to accommodate a late change of schedule, adding 20 hours of care at short notice. This made it harder to source and prepare suitable carers within the usual timeframe. Even so, our team worked to manage the transition as carefully as possible: introducing carers gradually and having the same assistant care manager present at every introduction to support the transition.

Once we had a clearer picture of the behavioural needs that hadn't been raised at assessment, we recommended reducing support hours to allow for a slower, safer introduction of carers, alongside additional positive behavioural support training for the team. This was agreed by all parties, but care was ended at short notice before we had the chance to put it into practice.

We understand how difficult it is to arrange care for someone you love, and we always try to offer flexibility as families navigate that process. Transitions, particularly for care delivered at home, do take time, and we generally encourage allowing the client a period to adjust to new carers. We are genuinely sorry we weren't able to provide the right support in the time available. As a gesture of goodwill, we did not charge for the care provided during this period.

We would, however, gently push back on the suggestion that this was due to a failure to listen to your loved one's needs, or that we would knowingly send carers we believed to be unsuitable. That has never been, and will never be, how we work.

Should you wish to contact the team for any clarification, our door remains open.

Kind regards,

The SweetTree Team

Excellent Service

I only have praise for Sweetree. They have made a lot of effort in getting to know my friend in a care home in order to find and allocate a compatible support worker. She needs someone to visit regularly, socialise and take my friend out to local places which is not offered at the Home. I also receive a report from the support worker after each visit to enable me to know what has been proved each week. I am very appreciative of the service received.

Outstanding SweetTree manager, HANA ALI

A longstanding SweetTree client, it never fails to fulfil my requirements.
No wonder SweetTree is consistently awarded CQC’s highest grade ‘OUTSTANDING’.
Most recently, an excellent manager, HANA ALI took my instructions. Within 2 weekend days HANA had suitably met my requirements; her 2nd time for me this year! Always available, always effective, like SweetTree, HANA is ‘OUTSTANDING’.
Thank you, HANA.

A very unprofessional company!

This company is very disappointing in regards to the way in which they treat prospective employees. They advertise on Indeed giving the impression that they have vacancies and that they are looking for staff. I responded to their advert and selected a date to be interviewed by one of the recruitment team. On the 'interview' day nobody called me. I then phoned the company and was told the person who should have called me may possibly call in the afternoon. They never called! This company is misleading people who are looking for work. They are fake, and time wasters. Extremely unprofessional!! If I could give them no stars I would.

Dear Barbara,

We're sorry that your experience with us wasn't positive. Looking at our records, I believe that you were booked for an initial 10-minute screening call, not an interview, on August 15th. Unfortunately, our Recruitment Coordinator was on emergency sick leave and wasn't able to cancel the call on time. On August 19th, she sent you a message to apologise and offered to reschedule the call, but we can see that you didn't reply to her message.

If you still have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Kind regards,

The SweetTree Team

SweetTree’s support has made an incredible difference to our lives

SweetTree’s support has made an incredible difference for our family. Navigating my mother's condition was overwhelming at times, but from the very first assessment, we felt truly heard and involved every step of the way. I have nothing but praise for our support worker. Her patience, kindness, and the progress she’s made with my mother have been absolutely amazing. Holly, our care manager, has been a warm and reassuring presence through the whole process. The peace of mind that comes from knowing my mother is in such good hands means the world to me, and I can't recommend SweetTree enough.

Exactly the right kind of help

SweetTree were very responsive and found two perfect Carers to care for my husband two days a week. He loved the Carers and I was happy to leave the house for a few hours a week knowing my husband was safe.
They showered, dressed, fed and took him for walks or amused him at home. The Management was flexible when we had to change arrangements. I highly recommend them to you.

Love Sweet Tree, carer is like a member of the family now.

From the moment we saw our new carer on a video link we knew she was someone who could take charge of any situation, who was friendly, intelligent, capable and reliable. I knew my mother would be in safe hands and I breathed an internal sigh of relief.
The carer was careful to make sure my mum was happy to be with her before I left and this took several days, but was really worth it because it meant I could leave my mum happily with her new friend rather than in a state of distress. I was so glad that this happened. It's like when you take your child to nursery a few times and stay a bit longer each time until the child is happy for you to leave. Just the best way to do it, if you are able to spare the time.
When I received my first 'MachForm' email about how my mum's day had gone, I was happy again as I read what the carer realised were important things for my mum that had happened that day.
The seriousness, attention and care shown in how exactly to administer my mum's medication is also an assurance that she will be looked after well.
I know I can ring up the office and immediately speak to someone who is helpful and will pay attention to what I am saying, with friendly respect and utmost diligence in carrying through whatever I have asked for or dealing with whatever problem I tell them about.
I have to say the finance department don't seem to be completely on top of things and don't always respond so quickly, but everything works fine there so long as I don't ask for anything too out of the ordinary from them.
I really recommend Sweet Tree because they have consistently reliable, caring and intelligent carers who genuinely want to look after people, and because the agency themselves are very responsive, conduct regular reviews, and are always considerate of my mum.

An excellent Care Agency

My surgeon suggested that I have someone with me when I left hospital following surgery and I was given the number of Sweet Tree Home Care Services whom I contacted. I found their manner on the telephone very professional and helpful and over the period I saw 4 of the carers. All of them showed care and compassion for me and helped me through a difficult time. I am very happy to recommend the agency to anyone needing assistance for themselves or a loved one.

5 star service

We have been using SweetTree Home Care Services for about 4 years.

My young adult son has a Learning Disability he is non verbal. He works 5 full days alongside his support assistants from SweerTree Home Care.

They work as a very happy team, in a bakery, at the Primary School he attended and as a co-farmer.

His Support Assistants really understand him and his needs, so much they are like friends.

I could not recommend them more.
