My wife ordered a 5cyl engine ......95k 14 days in they said we will have a tracking number that day, for many days ....never happened seeing that they can take up to 14 days to ship....we waited 15 days then cancelled the order....we have emails of all of this.....I rebuilt the engine in the truck ....Military man that is deployed at this time ...SW Engine dosen't care who you are they want money....The 95k mile engine was still online for sale....lie, they mileage is what catches your eye, but its just their M.O. This was 4/09/19 ...Weve lost alot.... We paid to rebuild the original engine and because it was our Debit account they have our money instantly.They lie like trump...

I really thought that I was dealing with a good company but, the first engine they sent me was losing coolant faster than it could be put in. I called and told them what was going on. They did send me another engine so I thought well ok great they are accepting responsibility for it awsome the other engine came and so far has done well. I was told by someone there to send them the bill for the first motor install and that I would be reimbursed but when I called a couple weeks later they said that I failed to activate the warranty on the first motor. (Then why did the send me another one. I would not recommend anyone buy engines from these crooks.

Do no deal with this company.they rip you off if you let them, In the DOJ of Wisconsin they have been Sued multiple times , dont deal with them.

DO NOT for any reason buy an engine from SWENGIES. First engine came to me covered in rust and damage to the oil pan and the block, they sent me a replacement engine and it was the wrong engine altogether. After Numerous phone calls and going back at forth with Dale, Anthony, Scott and others whose names I didn’t get and 7 weeks later, the engines were returned and I got my money back. I can’t stress it enough to anyone thinking of purchasing an engine from SWENGINES, do not put yourself though the hassle and bulls**t that I went though.

TOTAL LOOSERS--BOUGHT TWO ENGINES FROM THEM SEVERAL YEARS AGO--SUPPOSED TO BE LOW MILEAGE--BOTH OIL BURNERS AND THEY THEY FLAT OUT REFUSED HELPING IN ANY WAY--LOST 2 CUSTOMERS OVER THEM. CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS---CHECK BBB BEFORE DEALING WITH THESE GUYS OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER PARTNERS---PLAIN JUNK YARD SELLING JUNK !!!

Stay away from this place!!!! Ordered replacement engine for 2011 BMW 335. When it finally arrived 1 month later, it was the wrong engine!!! Contacted them and they said my installer would have a bill of lading for return shipping and it would be picked up the following week. That was two months ago and after 17 calls and emails they still have not replied! Having to work thru Mastercard to try to get a refund. These people are crooks. They obviously want my $4900.00 far more than their used engine. Just don’t even think about ordering a motor from these people

Initially ordered at motor for my 09 Dodge Ram that was supposed to have less then 50k miles. Motor was installed and had a tick was told by Scott in warranty it’s normal. 7 months later the motor goes out. They send me another motor that is also supposed to have like mileage. The shop doing the install calls and finds out this motor has 157k miles on it. Mind you they have already installed the motor. I call Scott in the warranty department and he says they sent the wrong motor and gets mad at me because it’s already been installed. I initially spent 3k for the motor. They offered to refund only $250 of that. Finally they Agee to give back 450. The install of the second motor costs about 2k and they only reimbursed 410 of that. I called Scott and he yells at me for not fully understanding the warrenty. So at the end of the day I spent 5500 total to have a motor with 157k miles. This company and its employees (Scott) do not care and do not own up to their errors. It was beyond me how I was treated by Scott. Not once did scott say sorry this happened or own up to any mistakes made. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.

They will not refund the amount that they say they owe you. They told me, yes I see that we owe you another $500.00, but we are not going to send it because I called the credit card company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! BUYER BEWARE!!
Check Better Business Bureau before you buy. After you see ALL the complaints you will not buy from them. Absolutely horrible, and very expensive experience. This Company is a SCAM!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Got two quotes from sw one h 2.2 non vtec, one 2.2 vtec, the quotes were the same even the millage they said was on the motors(83 k). I called them to ask questions and they hung up on me without even answering any questions. Buyer beware i would not trust sw.

After waiting almost a month for the engine I purchased to arrive, it showed up today and it is definitely not a match to what VIN i gave them. Not to mention it has a hole in the valve cover and doesn't come with half of what they say it will have. I'm seriously questioning the miles they told me it had on it. I would strongly recommend " buyer beware"! Customer service was no help and very rude.

I have bought the engine from SWEngines has many rule for warranty, so it very bad warranty and inspections. I'm so sad.

Bad service qouted me a price I payed for it .....then NEVER sent it then upped the price by 400 ????bad service lusa was rude hung up on me several times

Complete sham company. I paid $1000 for a long block motor, which supposedly had $70k miles on it (which they also say they cannot guarantee). When I received it (28 days after order) the pan was cracked and held on by 5 of the 19 bolts. Rear main seals were bad. Oil in the engine was sludge. All they did was pressure wash it and paint the block black.

They refused to remedy any of the damaged parts because "that's not part of the warranty," as the CSR yelled on the phone. When you buy a long block engine, the pain is included...you don't get to make up your own definitions of engine components.

Steer clear of this company, they're a complete rip off.

warranty sucks. bought and engine forgot to activate warranty so they wont do nothing for me. engine only went for 6000 miles and failed. so I don't recommend this site for people with business especially mechanic shops.

Yo I order my freaking motor a month ago and still have received any freakin tracking number, called them many times and no answer to the solutions. Tell me they gonna call me back but never happened. This is bullcrap man, payed 4320$ plus shipping and feel like my money is gone. This is freaking ridiculous I want my f***** money back! Y’all f***** are scamming b*****, how the f*** ur website still running. Wish I woulda seen the reviews before f****** with this company! Now I feel like I’ve been played and for those who have the same experience I feel ur lost! Myyyy goooodd!!!!

I ordered a used transmission fro my minivan. After two days I called as I had not received any email about when it would be shipped. I was advised they had not sourced the transmission and it would be 14 days. before it shipped. I canceled the order and thought that would be the end it. They did not refund the purchase so I called in , transferred to a supervisor and was advised it was an over site. Two days later they refunded me less a 25% restock fee for transmission they had not even found much less shipped. They did not mention this when I canceled or when I called about the refund not being processed. They are Crooks. Steer clear of these thieves.

These guys are scam artists! When you agree to their contract online, it says that a 25% restocking fee will be deducted if you cancel for any reason! Doesn't matter if they have shipped the part or not. Not a reputable company. They have changed their company name to engineandtransmissionworld to cover up all the bad business they have done in the past. Purchased an engine from them and then within one business day, discovered it was the same company, cancelled my order which was paid thru discover card and they are still trying to stick me with a $250 restock fee even though they had not even started to ship the engine yet.

The original ordering process was simple and they even offered me a $100 discount on my engine for a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500. Getting through to customer service and being able to track my order was a little bit of a hassle. But it was delivered on the day they said it would be with the engine intact on a fairly short crate. They claimed this engine had only 53k miles but after inspecting as best we could without tearing it down I don’t believe that is accurate. But we got it installed and it fired right up with no problems. I did activate the warranty online within the allotted timeframe but have not received any confirmation that it’s all good. We shall see. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this engine is good. Overall I would give them a 3. Customer service leaves something to be desired.

I can't believe they're allowed to do business. Worst experience of my life with any company.
