Robert was great, understood what I needed to gain from the lessons and helped me tenfold, gave me the confidence and the technique to be able to complete my first triathlon

Having one to one lessons enabled me to gain confidence in the water, which for someone who has never been in a swimming pool before ( I am 70+) this was a bonus! Pasha was an amazingly patient swimming instructor and I am very happy with the time I spent with her.

My swim coach in Brentford is excellent , very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. I’m really happy with the training.

However, my experience with some of the staff members has been very disappointing. A few of them come across as rude and lack basic customer service skills, which affects the overall experience. Last when I spoke they even promised a call back from Manager, which never happened. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the coaching quality deserves much better support from the rest of the team.

Very good service and my swimming instructor has been really great and supportive.
She has put 100% effort to teach me swimming and I feel so much comfortable now.

Simon is such a fantastic Coach. He makes learning to swim as an adult, a real pleasure! I would recommend him especially to those who seriously wants to experience the joy of safe swimming. Kudos to SwimExpert for consistent quality service delivery.

Pav at SwimExpert has been helping me to improve my swimming. I needed to 'relearn' having built up some bad technique - Pav was extremely patient and has a very nurturing style. I hope to be a much more proficient swimmer soon.

My daughter's been attending SwimExpert for around 9 months now for 1:1 lessons with Rachel and her confidence in the water has considerably with a mix of float-assisted locking drills, stroke technique and underwater work (skinkes)

The wider SwimExpert team have been great in terms of organising lesson bookings.

Dan is a very patient teacher. My kids have great fun, really look forward to their lesson, and we see real progress each week.

Katherine is a really good teacher. She’s done amazing work with my autistic son who before his lessons hated getting his head wet. Now he’s ducking under the water for fun and progressing through the levels quickly. He’s bonded with her really well as she provides a really safe space whilst being patient and amazing.

My son has been working with Rebecca for 6 weeks and has come much further in that time than 2 years of lessons elsewhere. I would highly recommend Rebecca.

I had a lesson with a teacher whose teaching style didn’t feel like a good fit and requested a change. I was matched with Dr Christian in Brentford pool and I would give more than 5 stars if I could! He explains things to me really well in a way that I understand and helps me to focus on what’s important and what isn’t. He has a lot of experience which shows from the way he teaches, he explains different ways of doing the same stroke and the pros and cons. After struggling with group lessons for a long time, I have made more progress with Dr Christian in 4 lessons than I have in a group setting in 1 year. The lessons are fun and educational, and he is kind and honest and an enthusiastic teacher. This is a massive bonus especially as an adult learner when I have been at work all day or tired it is refreshing to be taught by someone who genuinely loves what they do. I look forward to learning more and becoming a confident swimmer :)

I started with Swim Expert about 3 months ago. I had with no swimming experience and was quite nervous in the water, but my coach Dr Christian’s patience really helped me feel comfortable and build confidence step by step.
With his guidance, I learned the front crawl and now feel ready to move on to breaststroke. He explains things clearly and makes each lesson easy to follow.
SwimExpert is also very easy to book with, and the staff are friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend both Dr Christian and SwimExpert to anyone starting out.

As a not very confident swimmer at all, I started my lessons with Robert W and from my very first lesson, Robert made me feel very comfortable and from there I have only positive feedback as even at difficulty with certain strokes, Robert is very patient and calm and amazing at making you feel relaxed and be able to perform with no pressure.
Robert is very patient, has a gentle approach, made me feel safe and turned my fear into making me laugh.
Expertise is on form and very knowledgeable.
Very happy I was given Robert to teach me how to swim, without Robert I think I may have given up after the first few lessons.

I tried to contact the team to get lessons from only female instructor as Iam only comfortable from female instructor but the lady told me they do not have only female instructor and they can assign anyone which is bit strange and not helpful at all for me.

Pav is excellent at using small steps for a 78 year old non swimmer.

We really love working with Matthew via SwimExpert! He's great with our 5 year old! He seems to have a lot of tactics and strategies to kids acquire new skills in the pool. He's also very patient which we've appreciated.

I would not recommend this swimming facility unless your child is comfortable following a very strict, military-style approach to instruction.

In my experience, it is not particularly neurodiversity-friendly, which makes it challenging for children who may need a more supportive or adaptable learning environment.

There also seems to be a high turnover of staff, which affects consistency and continuity in teaching.

Additionally, the lanes are quite small and cramped. Less confident or less able swimmers are expected to manage in these conditions, often dealing with constant waves and disruption caused by the movement of swimmers in adjacent lanes—particularly from the back-and-forth activity in lane 6. This creates an unnecessarily difficult environment for those still building their confidence in the water.

The whole process has been so easy to book and manage. Hayden has been fantastic always on time and greeting with a smile. My daughter has absolutely adored swimming with him and been excited to go every week. With good mix of swimming, technique and free play.

My daughter was a nervous swimmer and reluctant to go under water. The transformation we’ve seen in her confidence over the last 6 months has been amazing. She loves swimming and cannot get her out of the water. Having done group lessons with slow progress this has seen my 5 year old flourish into a swim lover.
