Luke is a great instructor. We started lessons to regain confidence and from the first session we felt relaxed and supported. Luke tailors the sessions to ensure progression from week to week.

Our daughter now has lessons with Charlotte and is doing brilliantly. Charlotte is kind and patient and our daughter looks forward to her lessons each week!

A really enjoyable introduction to swimming for a beginner like me. Luke was a brilliant tutor, very patient and explained everything clearly. After 3 lessons I now have much more confidence in the water!

I recently completed a set of 1-to-1 swimming lessons with SwimExpert, and I’m very pleased with the results. I was quite nervous to begin with, but my instructor Michael was patient, reassuring, and highly skilled at adapting the lessons to my needs. His clear explanations and calm approach helped me to build confidence in the water step by step.

What I appreciated most was that Michael took the time to understand where I was starting from and made sure each session felt manageable and productive. Over the course of my lessons, I went from feeling anxious about swimming to being confident in the water and being able to swim — something I never thought I’d achieve.

I’m very grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend SwimExpert to anyone who wants to learn to swim or improve their skills.

My 4 year-old daughter really loves her lessons and looks forward to every lessons with them. She quickly built confidence in water and progresses each time. She knows the name of every teacher as she has fun learning with them. Sadly, one of her teacher, Heloise is moving place and my girl said she's gonna miss her because she's very kind.

My 9 year old had swimming lessons with Rob at Bridgewood Manor. He was brilliant and my boy loved his lessons, he just needed an extra few after completing his lessons at school. He now has the confidence and ability to swim by himself after originally being terrified of the water.
Rob is a great teacher, showing lots of encouragement and patience.

I am a novice swimmer but already after just 6 half hour sessions i feel like i am swimming with so much more confidence, competence and enjoyment!

My instructor Roberts excellent teaching technique really suits me.

He is 100% committed and focused on my every move in the pool, explaining the next move very clearly and encouraging me all of the time.

This serious subject of learning to swim better, is much more enjoyable than i ever thought it would be.

Booked a series of 5 lessons in langley, the instructor I had was not a very nice person, his approach to teaching was shouting at his pupils
On my very last lesson he spent most of his time chatting to someone sitting by side of pool while occasionally shouting keep your legs up. I would recommend anyone considering swimexpert go elsewhere.

I booked a series of 6 lessons to help me regain swimming ability after a prolonged absence from the water. Every lesson was a positive and helpful experience. In particular, Lisa was an excellent teacher. The pool water at the Apollo Hotel Basingstoke was clean and not too cold, even though the changing room lockers etc need an overhaul. I'd recommend SwimExpert to anyone, young or old.

Sean has been fantastic, and instrumental in Noah’s swimming development over the past couple of months. We have seen his confidence grow immensely and it has been all down to Sean’s expertise and calm demeanour. We have just signed up for another block, and can’t wait to watch Noah’s progress and to see him flourish under Sean’s guidance.

First class teacher

As an adult of 62 who could manage breaststroke but nothing else I booked a group of five lessons hoping to learn at least to front crawl. The instructor Chris gave instructions but if I couldn't do what he was asking there was no back up instructions or plan B. The third lesson we did breastroke even though I had at the outset said thats not what I wanted to do. Further the pool at Hythe was not segregated so the fourth lesson was spent avoiding people or them avoiding me. I informed Swim Expert that I was disappointed and would not be attending the last lesson and to give them their due they did offer a free extra lesson but I had little confidence in the ability of the instructor. I feel the £220 was not well spent

A big thank you to 'Amy' for teaching me the front crawl properly at the age of 52! part of my bucket list. I will continue to practice as much as possible but just wanted to say how grateful I am to you, your patience and kindness has driven me forward to my 1st swim challenge in 2026

Surf is a fantastic teacher. My daughter loves his lessons and is excited to come each time. Her swimming has drastically improved and I would definitely recommend him.

My 7 year old daughter is taught by Jakob. She has autism and ADHD and always struggled in group settings. These one to one lessons are brilliant and she’s making progress far more than she did in the group settings. Excellent outfit!
