As always I cannot fault the quality of the service from the staff. The cleanliness of the vehicle was second to none. When ever I need a hire car Swindon Car & Van will always be my company of choice. Highly recommend them.

The rudest guys you can find anywhere... Unprofessional.. the person while giving keys said..when you come back don't park like an idiot

I wouldnt even rate it a 1 star. There seems to be a common theme with the last minute text they send to customers saying they must arrive before 09.45 for weekend pickup and catches alot of people out. When looking on google review there are lots of similar complaints.

Words of advice..dont bother using these guys. Find someone else..totally ignorant, rude, and zero customer service..simply move on

Incredibly poor costumer service, they stop answering the phone over half hour before due to close. We Had an incredibly difficult start to the day and so we were delayed, made it to the door for 10am, had previously made dozens of attempts to call and speak to someone and explain what was happening, no one answered the phone. when arrived at the door, the gentleman was not interested, simply repeatedly saying "you bookeed for 8 o'clock" was extremely impolite stating "i was full of costumers"
All that had to be done was for someone to pick up the phone hear us out and say either "no sorry that's too late" or "that's okay we can wiat 5 minutes" - quite simple, really.
It's a shame a local business was let down by such a poor attitude from the person in the office

Hired from them twice now and BOTH times had trouble getting my deposit back. The first time they took a second payment of £250 instead of refunding it to me, which i accepted as an honest mistake (maybe not?!) but after the second hire it took two weeks to get the deposit back while they just blame their bank for it. My bank said they had not sent the money!

pay close attention to the amounts that are paid. Booking via the website doesn't work correctly and when you pick up the va they charge you again. During the weekend, take a photo of the time you leave the keys through the mailbox.
Supposedly the rental is for 24 hours but on weekends you need to hand in the keys at 8:00am. Pay close attention to each step.

i literally cant thank this company enough my old van died and i bought a second hand one of these guys. they went out there way got the van ready quickly and it was completely spotless and the finance was really simple and a great rate. again amazing company so happy with new van and every bit of service i received.

Afte a very bad experience with Nationwidehireuk, we had to look for another van hire company. What a difference! Absolutely first class customer service, and a fair bit cheaper. Can't speak highly enough of Jake and the guys. Thanks fellas. Truly professional service.
