TLDR: Have to pay a whopping 3.9% deposit fee in the UK. Deposits take a week to land in your account. App is terribly made. Support is about as useful as a glass hammer. Apple Pay randomly disappeared from my app. When Apple Pay was there it was only available in USD which has a currency exchange commission. Do yourself a favour, avoid this like the person in the supermarket without a COVID mask.

I have to say that from start to finish using this card has proven to be an absolute waste of time.

First off it took me over a month to get my account verified and card delivered. I was never informed of the reason my KYC took so long to verify and it was only after going on live chat multiple times that I finally got it sorted.

Next my card order was never accepted. I actually had to find a bug in the app which required you to completed OTP verification of a phone number before it would dispatch the card.

Next up was trying to deposit a few quid in to test it out. For this I had two options: pay currency exchange fees and deposit dollars with Apple Pay or wait a week and deposit with a credit card purchase. I waited.

Next the fee free deposits from the UK were removed as is the Apple Pay option. Now I have the ever so convenient option of depositing GBP which will take a week to land in my wallet and then be charged at 3.9%

This is meant to be a company which is attempting to ‘disrupt’ the current financial system. Good luck with that.

I'll try give a fair and honest review, since the majority of 4/5 Stars here are fake -
Note the time stamps - As if all the customers conveniently gathered around to give them all 4/5?

My FULL experience
PROS:
+Multiple cashback options in Bitcoin, Swipe, BNB or PAX.
+I ordered the sky card but was given orange card with sky level perks (I preferred that colour, so putting in Pros)
+Card arrived quickly.
+Except the 1st transaction, which takes 7 days, all other transactions were instant.

CONS:
-Bank transfers not accepted and I'm forced to top up by card with an added charge. There was no notice of changes and the addition of charges.
-3.9% charge for topping up? Ask any of the people that left 4/5* reviews, if you top up £1000, how the numbers on being charged 3.9% and getting 2% back, is a good deal that makes sense? So it costs me £1039 to spend £1000 to get £20 Bitcoin back? vs Spending £1000 on your normal card and buying £39 of Bitcoin elsewhere?
-Support email: Zero reply after 3 months, heading to 4.
-Chat support: Take ages to reply, you get no notification, so unless you keep you phone open and wait, they close the chat instantly and blame you for being inactive.
-In the UK, so my default currency is GBP yet everything comes out in Euros and I get charged an exchange rate fee.
-Had a refund in GBP which was converted in Euros, then the Euros went missing.
-The app is full of bugs
-Learn your pin, the contactless fails regularly.

Conclusion: Avoid this pointless product or prepare to be disappointed. And if you think the Pros outweigh the Cons... Good luck.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Not once have I ever received my 4% cashback without having to contact support two or three times, and only then I might get the cashback a month or so later. I've had this card for 6 months and nothing has improved. I wrote a very polite email to the CEO about this and was completely ignored. Come on Swipe and
Mr Lizarondo, you're bringing the whole crypto world into disrepute.

Updated experience for UK members: you now are charged a fee to deposit to the card, which entirely negates the cashback.

Absolute rubbish.

THE best place to buy and spend cypto, period. Zero fees and a debit card that pays 8% cash-back makes this a WIN. New features are constantly added and there many more in the pipeline for 2021. Shaping up to be an exciting year!

I would give it a 0* useless customer service, ordered 2 saffron cards, received one which does not even work. This was 4 month ago "they will transfer the case to their technical service". Cannot close account, endless back and forth emails, chats etc. Account must be empty to be closed, but tiny amounts cannot be transfered anywhere. Lots of positive reviews here seem suspicious and mere advertisement for/by the company itself, contrasting starkly with half of dissatisfied customers. Bank service not available in your country (Benelux), app works with €, so where is the problem? Identify with other customers having same poor experience. Would never place big amounts of money with them anywhere. Stay away from it!

I have the sky blue card and It stopped working about 8 weeks ago. I've reached out to customer support over 20 or 30 times via email and they haven't responded once. Also I haven't received a single rebate from Netflix

Iam waiting for Refunds of 1000`s Euro for several WEEKS. No Update from Support.
My Account was closed from Swipe before arround 10 Weeks!!!!, for research. Iam still waiting for their update about that also.
They give a sh** on open Support Tickets.

Still can’t get the basics working with the debit card.

Refunds get lost and the money struggles to find its way back to your account.

The rebates for Spotify and Netflix don’t track correctly or the wrong amounts are paid back.

Avoid for now. They can’t deliver their current offerings.

The only way of getting progress is creating multiple support tickets as support tickets just get ignored or closed without resolutions.

Card never work like they promised. Tried to contact them via Telegram and Email. But no reply, it has been two months already.

Stake their coin for nothing.

Stay away!

I'm a slate user and am very satisfied with my perks and benefits. Locking, Ordering and Activating the card was very easy. And now I enjoy weekly staking rewards (~25% APY) and 8% Cashback on all purchases. Its making live and daily grocery shopping a lot more rewarding.

Can't wait to receive my slate card on pre-order! There are lots of incentives for Swipe card users... I love the Swipe wallet having many key tokens listed with live prices and charts at one glance despites it's being a relatively new development. Have tried transferring tokens and is real easy and fast. Excellent!

One of the best crypto debit card provider out there. Competitive cash back rates and benefits. Customer service can be lacking abit but hope it can improve over time. Overall the team and ceo has been listening in to our suggestions and improving their products at the same time. Definitely an undervalued gem in the crypto market right now

Received saffron card back in August and arrived within 1 week. Recently updated to slate and no new card required, existing card was updated and now receives all benefits of slate. No issues with card and all cashback always received. Support has improved over the last month or so but still room for improvement.
