Unwilling to help

Recently had to rebuild my laptop and contacted 4Team to get the correct software version of Sync2Cloud for my license. Was first told I didn't have current support so wouldn't help and needed to purchase new support. Explained I just needed the older version of the software to match my current license key. One line response back "We don't have older software". Contacted again to be told again to buy support and they would help. Every other software supplied has provided a link to older versions of software and helped to recover keys even though I wasn't under support. The fact they want me to pay for support to help me out is terrible service. I wont be renewing and will be looking for an alternate solution. Would not recommend this company!!

The app doesn't do what it says

The app doesn't do what it says. Customer support is trying to help but the product is just too weak. It can't bring events from 2 different calendars to another parent calendar and merge it nicely. I had to pay but it was still useless. The UX of the app is bad too, I can't understand how to manage things and some sections of the app were still blocked even when I paid.

buyer be aware for licensing terms

Following an upgrade to Windows 11 this company expected me to purchase the same software again for the same machine, just because I had the software for already for that 12 months.

Their advertisement is totally misleading, product does not work

Terrible product!!!! it does not work with IOS unless you make changes to your apple login ID, however, 4team corporation fails to tell you that before you buy the product and then they refuse to give you back the money. Their advertisement is totally misleading as they claim things that can't be done unless you change other products behaviour. They should state that in the product prereqs and before you buy the product. The after sales service is terrible and arrogant and denied the request for the money back even so I could not use the product.

Stay away

Stay away, put new hard drive in my laptop, even though I installed the original version of Sync2 they want me to pay again, I didn't need or want support, I didn't want an upgrade. I had to contact several other software companies one because I had lost my license number, no problems all responded with 100% satisfaction EXCEPT 4Team. Shame on them!

This product does not work and the company is dishonest

Syncgene does not work, and the 4Team company appears to be dishonest in its handling of the situation. I purchased the product on at the end of November, but it did not sync until Dec 11. It continues to not work -- constantly created duplicates or failing to replicate contacts across folders. So, 12 days after it supposed worked, I asked to invoke the 14 days 'no questions asked' refund. They have refused, telling me that the 14 days are up (which they used to supposedly fix the sync) and have insisted that I continue to work with the technical team and then perhaps “they will consider” a refund. DO NOT purchase this program. My Christmas gift to you is to save your money or spend it elsewhere. If anything changes, I will update this review.

Good company, unreliable product

With multiple Google and Outlook calendars, I was so hopeful that SyncGene would be the answer to being able to see all my appointments in one place. Perhaps once they work out all the bugs, it will be great. Customer service / tech support was very responsive. However, it just doesn't work well. Some appointments didn't sync, I had an issue with appointments being auto-declined, it erases all color coding (which I count on) with each sync, and there's no way to streamline duplicates (so the same meeting would be on one calendar four times.) It also just stopped syncing a few times and I had to log into the app to fix settings or manually sync. Overall, seems like a good company but way too much work for something that is supposed to make my life easier. The fear of it messing up my calendar in a way that would cost me money is too great.

Don't buy from this company. Worst tech support experience ever! Restrictive licensing practises, zero flexibility, forced to purchase additional licenses. Rip-off. Unfair Refund policy.

I had an issue with duplication of…

I had an issue with duplication of emails in Outlook and regrettably purchased life-time Licence and support. Following installation by one of their technicians I found the program did not remove any duplicates from some folders! Also, to me it was not clear the Support was a split payment and despite have notified them of my dissatisfaction with the program the second payment was deducted two weeks after the first one. A waste of money from my perspective and definitely would not recommend. I found a much simpler answer through my own research which did not cost anything apart from my own time.

Totally dishonest

Totally dishonest - products never mentioned 1 year license when purchasing product stops working and they want you to spend more. Product Sync2 and Sync2 Cloud only work about 50% of the time and take up a huge amount of system resources. Not recommended.

Don’t but from this company

Don’t but from this company, trial product shows just enough to think you are getting your data from OST file, but when purchased the actual restore is useless, items are not restored properly, folder structure is lost, support is useless, will not refund
