Terrible Customer Support and Business Practices
In an extremely vague email with no legitimate explanation whatsoever, I was told my business's account would be terminated on Monday, May 31. The termination email from T1 came on Friday, May 28 at 5pm EST right before the long memorial day weekend, leaving us high and dry to find another payment solution without any prior notice. This is and will continue costing my business a significant amount of revenue until another solution is found. In their email, they put the blame on one of their partners - Payvision. After doing some digging and speaking with others in the payment processing industry, I realized T1 is simply a broker and not an acquirer, meaning they had no relationship with any financial institution. This information was never shared. Payvision, who was actually processing the payments is based out of the Netherlands and involved in some extremely dodgy business practices, and as I am finding out now, so is T1.
Adding my frustration, T1 automatic phone operating system no longer has any options as to which department you are trying to reach (press 1 for customer support, 2 for sales, etc...). You are put directly on hold and made to leave a message after about 30 seconds.
I would love for someone at T1 to give me a call back as I have left multiple messages and emails requesting a call back.
DO NOT USE T1 !!!
Do not use T1. When starting out they would change the total amount of funds transferable back to me saying it needs to be more, Thousand of dollars later they drip fed some back to me, Every week didn’t add up to sales and cost I was seeing.Then without warning they closed the account with no heads up. The way I found out was through declining transactions via pinwheel. If you love you business and you want to succeed do not use T1.

T1 Closed my High-Risk account just yesterday unexpectedly, reason given is a change in Policy outside of T1 Payments control. Currently, have pending funds and reserves owing. Hoping for a good outcome. Will update this pending the outcome.

Professional, thorough and transparent. I would def recommend, just try to have all of your ducks in a row. Their response time to e-mails vary between 5 min and 20 min, literally, you will never wait longer than that for a reply. In my 16 years I have not seen an entire team display such a level of focus and attention throughout the process. It is not a short process, so the burden is really on you to perform, their team surely will.
