Tagliapasta is the best source for anyone looking for authentic pasta tools. The products are made in and shipped from Italy and delivered to my front door in less than a week. (They came packed carefully using Italian newspaper which is fun to read, too). Their prices can’t be beat. They are my go to source for anything Italian Kitchen. Thanks for being the best.

The customer service was excellent in providing me with timely and thorough support in the various stages: from responding to unusual requests of the U.S. customs, sending a replacement for the item damaged by FedEX during transportation. Paolo was responding to my emails very quickly and making the experience much better.

I rarely take the time to leave a review, but I believe my experience is worth sharing—not to harm the company’s reputation, but simply to present a factual situation that may help other customers.

Around six months ago, I purchased a large pasta board (over one meter long). Given its size, I made sure to store it properly: upright in my kitchen, protected with a custom-made cover specifically designed for it. It’s also important to note that I never actually used it, for personal reasons.

To my surprise, a few months later, I discovered that the board had completely warped to the point of being unusable. I contacted customer service and explained the situation, providing photos as evidence. The response I received was quite surprising: I was told that it must have been due to my handling, that I must have exposed it to water or used it improperly—which is simply not possible since it had never been used.

In the interest of transparency and good faith, I even agreed to send the board back at my own expense to the company’s headquarters in Italy. Following this, I was informed that a carpenter (who never physically examined the board) believed such a level of warping could only result from the board being submerged in water. Considering the size of the item, this is highly questionable—not to mention the complete lack of incentive to do such a thing to a product of this value.

After some discussion, a partial refund of 50% was eventually proposed. I accepted, in a conciliatory spirit, and simply asked that my board be returned to me, as it still belongs to me—even in its damaged condition.

Before posting this review, I also informed the company of my intention, specifically to remain transparent and avoid any sense of acting behind their back. Despite this—and despite several follow-ups—I have received no response since: no refund and no return of my board.

I am therefore posting this review as a last resort. Not out of spite, but because the quality of a product is also measured by the standard of its customer service. Unfortunately, in my case, neither has met expectations.

I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
