I really like the quality of the light…
I really like the quality of the light that comes from the bulbs through the opaque glass/porcelain. I am delighted as it is so hard to find a comfortable colour with LED bulbs, not too cold or too orange (and ones that work with a dimmer).

Great The Muse lights but maybe some quality control issues
Quality control issues?
I recently ordered two The Muse portable lights. The bulbs seemed misaligned from the contact to me but I managed to get them screwed in and touching as described in the instructions with the help of Tala's customer service. The lights then seemed to work but both bulbs would not dim and then both lights stopped working completely after a few hours even after fully charging the battery. I received some replacement bulbs from Tala but this did not solve the problem. I returned the lights and received 2 replacements. The replacements clearly showed there must have been some sort of fault with the first set of lights as the bulbs were much easier to align in the replacements and the dimmers worked fine. Unfortunately the glass of one light had been damaged in transport but Tala sent replacement glass. Both lights have worked fine since. I couldn't fault Tala's customer service who were very helpful to get a resolution. The lights once working are great and look very stylish.

Great Brand, but the Muse is a problem
I’m a fan of the brand and have bought a few things from them, however the portable Muse is simply not a product fit for market. I have had 3 now and have given up, they have all broken within weeks, they seem to blow the bulbs really quickly and the constant exchanging is a pain.
The service has always been good with no quibbling but when you spend over £300 on a light and a charging Matt you don’t expect 3 different versions to break. Either I’m their most unlucky customer or they have a real issue with that product.
It won’t put me off buying from them and I’m already looking at what to get when the refund comes in.
And guys - if you get the Muse property sorted, let me know and I’ll buy one again, but right now it’s simply not good enough. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful design
