Great, prompt service. Very detailed survey!

I am very happy with the Homebuyer's Survey produced by Talbots Surveyors. It is extremely thorough and informative, and will help me to make an informed decision in regards to the purchase of a property. It also provided me with a series of immediate and future actions that I will need to consider and complete going forward. Highly recommended.

James did a thorough home buyers report for us and submitted the report the same day. He was on hand to answer all our queries by phone and email.

James at Talbots surveyors is simply incredible and absolute pleasure to work with. Depth of reports and detail as well as responsiveness make it a great process. We've hired James on two occasions - on first one he saved us from buying a house that had non-approved structural additions (despite seller claiming otherwise). We've then hired him to another survey on a house that we ended up buying – and now are very happy with it. Would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

I instructed James at Talbots Surveyor to undertake a homebuyers survey for a property I was purchasing in Winchmore Hill. The report was incredibly thorough and not like a normal homebuyers survey, in that they go into far more detail than you'd normally expect. The survey was undertaken and I had the report in under 24 hours which is incredible considering most surveyors say it can take 5-10 business days turnaround! I found the entire process from booking to receiving the report seamless. I was kept informed the entire time and when I had questions regarding specific items mentioned in the report James was happy to provide further information and give me his 'plain english' thoughts on the matter. Will definitely be using them again for any future purchase. 10/10.

My experience with Talbot Surveyors has been excellent. From the first call they provided no nonsense assistance and made sure I was buying the correct service for my situation. I would have certainly paid too much elsewhere.

They booked me in for a Homebuyer Survey quickly and provided a detailed and useful report on the same day. I would definitely recommend to other people looking for reassurance when buying a home. Not just because of the product but because of their approach to dealing with people.

The company arranged a house survey within two weeks of contacting them and having completed the survey, sent me the full report the same day. The report was very detailed but realistically took into account the age of the house. They also included a valuation for insurance purposes. James was extremely charming and helpful when I telephoned him to clarify a few points and also responded very quickly to a couple of email enquiries.

Billing was efficient and they accept credit cards (not Amex) which was beneficial too.

If all companies were as efficient as Talbots, the world would be a better place!

We had 3 homebuyer surveys done by James over the last few years.
We were always very happy with the level of details and the expertise of the work.
On one of the houses, James even identified a hidden faulty shower installation leaking on another floor and requiring some expensive repair.

I had Talbots carry out a homebuyers survey on a property I was in the process of purchasing. They were polite, efficient and completed the detailed report ahead of schedule. I am happy with the survey which was very detailed and very informative of the condition of the property, providing points of concern and suggestions to improve the properties condition.

I was very pleased with the lease extension survey conducted by Andrew Cohen.It was thorough, efficient and professional. Pricing is fair and transparent- significantly less than other estimates I had received. Andrew was very responsive and always willing to patiently and fully answer my questions- he helped me navigate what otherwise would have been a very daunting process. I would definitely use Talbots again and can enthusiastically recommend them.

James and the team are extraordinarily responsive and helpful. From our first contact, James explained that the more expensive survey was not suitable/ necessary for us. His survey report was provided to us the same day of his inspection and James also made time over the following weeks to address our questions. Tina and James were incredible to deal with, they were so helpful with advice on which type of test to book, they contacted the sales agent to book in the visit without us having to intervene, and the report was delivered that same day (and was extremely comprehensive!) All in all, a complete 5* service from start to finish.
