When it comes to corruption and dishonesty this game has no equal. they are on top-typical russian tactics

I am absolutely furious with Tanki Online and their management under Hazel. My Legend account (HuntingCampersPT) with over 1000 hours of gameplay was completely stolen. I tried recovering it via my Google account — gone forever. I submitted 3 support tickets and got zero help.

It’s unacceptable that a game can take away a player’s account with so much time invested and leave them with no resolution. Hazel and the company’s practices show a total disrespect for player security and trust. Spending years building an account only for it to disappear is frustrating, demoralizing, and feels like outright negligence.

Tanki Online needs better security, real customer support, and accountability. Until then, I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

I used to play tanki back when paints had protections and kits were a thing. Old tanki was life to me. I disappeared for some years and wanted to know what happened to my used to be favorite game. Some games are meant to be a relic of the past. The tanki online now is nothing but who has the fatest wallet. Ofc old tanki had buyers, but holy crap. Now everything is just a cash grab. Premium, rubies, tankcoins, drones all need money. To survive in this game you have to be a wallet warrior, otherwise its literally unbearable to be f2p. Crystals really dont mean anything anymore. Im glad i have core old tanki as a memory.

I was blocked in the middle of the game for 6 days

This game is terrible in so many ways. Matchmaking is a joke. So lopsided. Also many bots with 50% protection from everything. Bugs and glitches unpatched for the 8 years since I made my account.

There is a review about a handicap against American players. The handicap is actually the Russian players getting a huge damage and health advantage. So in comparison, since most of the players are Russian, there is technically a handicap against everyone else.

European English-speaking mods in this game target American players too.

Spy permanently banned my forum account without any prior bans too. So Spy is horse crap also.

I played this game since around 2016. I enjoyed the game very much years ago. Today I get killed with 1 shot kills and my tank is fully upgraded and I can't purchase any more modifications.
There must be bots playing where there were real players years ago.
I no longer enjoy the game. Perhaps there is a handicap in use to crush American players?

Tanki online is a train wreck. Why?
1. Horrible matchmaking. Maps with 24+ players (most of which bots now) causes tons of lag and the maps are too big to get anything done on knowing my team (mostly bots) won't help.
2. Hackers in control. There are hackers everywhere in this game especially in parkour mode. Hacking is ALLOWED in parkour mode now and tanki openly stated that in a vlog.
3. Pay to win game. Exotic and Legendary container rewards are rigged to be nearly impossible (very low chance) to obtain unless you spend money. I spent 10 USD on my main (regret doing this now) and it is clear that my container luck is significantly better on that account than my other accounts.
4. Dishonest/Disrespectful moderators. Moderating teams play favorites and really suck at covering it up. My entire friend group got our forum accounts permanently banned because Spy (worst administrator ever) thought we were the same person using multiple accounts to criticize the game. Several of us asked him to prove it and he never did. Why? HE CAN'T!!!!
5. mometasone. Just sits around the chats all day provoking people in English or French while flooding the chat with "muahaha." And to no one's surprise, moderators side with him and never gets banned.
6. Bugged turrets. Striker, gauss, and railgun seem to aim through walls. Magnum doesn't deal damage half the time. Shaft lasers do not reflect where the player is actually aiming. Freeze halves damage of opponents.
7. Hopper ruined gold hunting. Simple as this: Overdrive jumps allowing free gold boxes that actual skilled players get annoyed by.
8. Ignoring community. Many people hate the game and they only care about money in short term. Seems they have forgotten about us. Just want to point out this review was written to encourage players thinking about tanki to try a different game such as World of Tanks.
-Do not start playing this game under any circumstance.
-If you started playing, consider quitting. The state of this game has been deteriorating since I started back in late 2019 (already falling then also)

This game was awesome ten years ago, now it has become horrible. The servers are constantly shutting down and they have made it a strictly "pay to play" game. people sign up, lay down a pile of cash, get a high 'gear score' tank - and cant play, ruining the game. All the new idiotic augments are a joke, and absolutely ridiculous. It's all about the money, and if you pay to play this pile of dogshit, you get what you deserve.

I played a game with one of my friends about a week ago and we had our game ruined by three hackers on the opposing team. It was a disaster! We reported them with their new report feature and the hackers were not banned nor did any sign of a moderator showing up occur. I will not pay this game until anticheat is fixed!

THEY FU-KED IT UP. It Was the best game i have ever played. Now its so bad, they need to fill 30 players in one map, half of the players are double named bots. Augments, Overdirives worst things ever. Shame

Game had so much potential. Could've been a top 10 played game world wide 10 years ago. Ruined it by adding magnum. Now you just hide behind a wall and shoot across the map. They never added a ranked mode for people to climb. Game is wayyy to pay to win. No fun anymore.

Had so much potential. I used to love it, no other tank game has variety and creativity like this one. But now the devs have ruined it: adding bots - they are taking over maps, as they have good health compared to us, yet they are the worst, dumbest bots that have been created in the history of gaming - bad range of maps for MM, bad MM with unbalanced teams. The actual gameplay has just become frustrating, - shooting thru walls, an issue that has NEVER been sorted - more issues and lag is occurring, and OG players like me have decided to leave FOREVER. The most annoying thing is that even though everyone is complaining, all tanki are bothered about is getting money and doing different events. Yes, they are good in principle, BUT MAKE THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY GOOD! Maybe they're holding out with all the people that decide to spend tons of money, but a lot are leaving because there are way better games to spend money on.
I just don't want to change because of the years I have on this game, but tanki don't seen to care about the experienced players who carry their game.

I play on iOS, and it’s been very disappointing this was my childhood favorite game but having constant issues with have to load the game back up in a game and it’s absolutely terrible in general playing on phone. But when the whole game just crashes and doesn’t load back up after putting decent effort in match is just extremely disappointing

What can you improve? Removing your pathetic matchmaking you cant choose the map you want and players didnt asked for a matchmaking in the 1st place
I hate it since day one. Bring the old battle list like every other online battle game have. I can go on and on. Since Matchmaking was implement game just got worst and worst (drones, augments, grenades) at the point they needed to add a 3rd currency, just pathetic. So bring the battle list, no one asked to remove it so I CAN CHOOSE A MAP FROM TO PLAY THX GREEDY DEVS IMPROVE UR PATHETIC GAME AND MAKE TANKI ONLINE GREAT AGAIN SURELY PLAYERS COME BACK

I love this game ! It's absolutely not p2w since it's all about skill and strategy, I don't know why people are complaining about this, just learn how to play...
I've never spent any cent and I'm pretty good at the game even against enemies with an higher GS.
Just some bugs and high ping sometimes but it's still playable.

The developers have broken my trust, I can no longer trust them, I would NOT recommend this game to anyone.

Tanki Online have to admit this problem immediately! We all know that the shop prices went absurdly high since tankcoins were introduced but something which is being gatekept for a long time already is the fact that they rised the shop prices due to one problem, they seem to just not get fixed. All the high payers use some sort of method with Vpn as far as I know so they can change the currency with that the prices are set in the shop. So they dont pay the absurdly high prices which are for example in european countries where you have to pay with Euro they change the currency to the ukrainian one which is worth way less than euro. This method is being used for so many years and they make of course less profit, when players use this method. I dont know if they are just lazy or something (although it always seemed like that) but they very likely think an average european is able to spend their monthly paychcheck into the game just for some Op augments which are basically always exclusive for the payers.

Hackers in Parkour, the biggest issue

Tanki Online’s Parkour mode has become almost impossible to enjoy because of the growing number of hackers. There’s no proper anti-cheat system, and the moderators are nowhere to be found. Cheaters are running wild, exploiting every corner of the game, which makes it frustrating for those of us who just want to play fair. It ruins the fun and enjoy the game the way it’s meant to be played. Until the devs actually fix this, it’s hard to recommend the game to anyone.

The issue with hackers in the Parkour mode is no longer tolerable. The developers' refusal to do anything about it and outright kicking people from battles for complaining is not acceptable.
