We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Tanyard Barn. Communication was excellent and we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, freshly baked bread and cakes. The fridge was also well stocked for the stay with fresh milk, orange juice and beers. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully decorated with everything and more you could need for your stay. We loved the hot tub which was well needed after the long walks which we did from the accommodation. The views were amazing and the area was quiet, we will definitely be coming back in the future.

What a fantastic place; a perfect hidden gem in the middle of the countryside! It's off the beaten track, surrounded by greenery; very peaceful and secluded. The perfect place to rest and recharge.

The decor of the barn is stunning, it feels really modern but rustic, every corner has a lovely little decorative accessory, very tasteful! When we arrived we opened the door to little fairy lights in the beams, and spa music! I felt like I was at a spa retreat, a beautiful touch!

Our lovely hosts Helen & Dennis left a lovely little welcome note, and lots of treats and goodies for our stay!! These extra touches are so thoughtful and were so very appreciated!

The outside space is just as gorgeous! The views are beautiful in every direction, and it is very private, even though walkers are going by they can't see up to the barn at all. The hot-tub is great, and it was ready to go when we arrived... as was the chilled prosecco!!

The walks around the area are great too! Thank you so much for a fantastic break! We came to unwind and recharge and it was definitely achieved! We can't wait to come back!!

Our daughter & son in law booked us a wk end away at tanyard barn on arrival we was welcomed with an anniversary balloon & banners & a card which was quite nice along with a few extras like a bottle off bubbly 🍾 beer fresh bread buns fresh juice & Milk & lots of other little bits the barn was lovely & very welcoming absolutely spotless extra comfortable bed the patio was beautiful but only downfall was it wasn't secure enough for our dog it had a large opening so we had to secure it so he didn't Potter off on his own .. the hot tub was fantastic & the secure dog field was a bonus which was just opposite it's a fair walk to aldi & the Queens deliver an Indian curry if your pekish.. stunning views pitty the weather let us down but in all a fantastic stay

I can’t fault Tanyard Barn at all. The photos don’t show how nicely this place is set up. There is a lot of thoughtful details which make the stay feel luxurious and the outside area is designed well for a little privacy without feeling isolated from the lovely views. Communication from the host was just right and there was a few nice and thoughtful extras provided.

Partner and I absolutely loved our short stay at Tanyard Barn, the perfect escape from reality with such lovely views. Hosts thought of every little detail making our stay feel extra special.

The hot tub is maintained daily and is a perfect addition for a truly relaxing break away. Robes and slippers where provided which where so handy for dips in and out the hot tub.

The barn was immaculately clean on arrival, host was great with messaging each day asking if there was anything we needed.

Our stay here has been the best couples break we’ve had. Would highly recommend for couples seeking an escape from reality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Taryard Farm! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. Honestly where do I begin because from start to finish this little gem gas provided a little haven. The little personal touches to the secure field for the dogs made this stay extra special. We'll definitely be booking again x

Lovely barn, feels like a spa. Hot tub was gorgeous, everything you could need is provided plus some really lovely extra touches that made it special. Great to find somewhere this nice that is dog friendly, even provide a secure paddock for the dogs to run around in.

Tanyard Barn was an absolutely amazing place, Helen was very welcoming and even decorated the barn for my birthday. Being a Coeliac Helen went out of her way to supply gluten free cake and treats on arrival which was a lovely surprise.The place was stunning and immaculately presented, having the secure field for the dogs was a complete bonus. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.

A wonderful weekend break, Attention to detail 100%. Cleanliness 100%, Facilities 100% Location was perfect and peaceful, Glossop is a lovely little town within walking distance with shops pubs and restaurants. Our hosts were amazing nothing was too much trouble. A lovely bottle of fizz on arrival. Snacks and a beautifully warm Hot tub ready for us. There really is nothing that you would want for. Perfect from start to finish and would highly recommend. We will most certainly be returning.

Stunning property and fabulous stay with lots of personal touches from the hosts inside the accommodation making it feel very homely. The hosts were excellent at communicating to let us know how to get in etc. The converted barn was just fabulous and the hot tub was available for a dip anytime and a fabulous perk for the property. The location of the property is stunning with amazing walks nearby and amazing views.
We both will definitely recommend this stunning place which has been so relaxing, peaceful and just what we needed.

Helen and Dennis whent out of their way with the personal touches and decorated their beautiful barn ready for my husbands 50th birthday surprise, they even bought him a little gift and an extra bottle of orange as he really enjoyed the one provided which was not at all expected but joyfully received.
The barn is just gorgeous, luxurious and immaculately clean and tidy on arrival with everything we needed and was just so cozy.
The big plus for me was the very clean hot tub/jacuzzi which I didn't want to leave which was set to a lovely 40c for our arrival.
It's such a lovely place in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, and was perfect place to unwind from the day to day chaos that is our lives.

Stayed here for a last minute midweek break in April. Absolutely loved every minute of this stay. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The cottage is clean, modern and has everything you could need for a break. We loved the little touches of the fresh bread, face masks and milk in the fridge from the host to name a few. The attention to detail was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I can’t wait to stay here again

Everything about our stay at Tanyard Barn was perfect. Dennis messaged us before we arrived to let us know the hot tub and drinks would be ready for us on arrival. The barn itself was spotless and beautifully decorated. It had plenty of room but was very cosy. Both the hot tub and log burner were easy to use, and made the trip that bit more special. The bathroom and kitchen had everything you would need and the attention to detail was fantastic. There was fresh bread, fresh milk, juice, condiments and drinks in the fridge. They were fully prepared for us to bring the dog and catered to our every need. There are also so many different walks from the lodge and if we had more time, we would’ve loved to have explored more! Such a beautiful place with fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend!

I have been telling everyone I know about Tanyard Barn! It’s a beautifully renovated Barn to a top spec and very spacious. The attention to detail and decor is outstanding. It’s really clean and the Hot Tub is checked daily. The welcome into the property was amazing. The burner roaring, cosy lighting all around the place, retreat style music playing and very much a secluded feel. Prosecco was on ice for our arrival with craft beers in the fridge. Fresh bread & pastries sauces & jams. Coffee pods. Oat milk, semi skimmed & OJ, butters in the fridge. The attention to detail was incredible! Perfect for a romantic getaway. With stunning views and hikes straight out of the front gate. It was my husband’s birthday and Dennis & Helen decorated the barn for our arrival it was just magical. The perfect hosts who know how to provide a fully luxurious experience. We’re lucky to have found this place and share their retreat for two. The town is a short walk away with plenty of eateries & supermarkets close by you’ll want for nothing here!
We will definitely be returning! Enjoy your stay
