Nothing turned up, enquiries ignored.

After 5 days products were a no show. Sent enquiry which was ignored, after further 5 days I sent another enquiry seeking the missing items. This too was ignored. I have since ordered from an alternative supplier which arrived next day. Currently trying to get refunded. Ill keep you posted on how that goes.

After waiting for over 2 weeks for my order to be sent, I’ve cancelled and requested a refund. No one is replying to my email, the phone line is unavailable, the online chat is only short hours. It looks like a scam.

Not sure if it’s a general issue and they are closing down, but I strongly recommend not using this supplier to ensure that you don’t have your monies stolen.

PAID AND PLACE A ORDER OVER 4 WEEKS AGO AND STILL HAVE MY MONEY, CALLED THE HELPLINE AND GET A REPEATED MESSAGE INFORMING TELEPHONE IS FAULTY, THIS COMPANY HAS HAD THE SAME TELEPHONE MESSAGE FOR TWO WEEKS, WHAT BUSINESS HAS NO TELEPHONE LINE FOR TWO WEEKS??!! THE TELEPHONE MESSAGE THEN TELLS YOU TO USE THE LIVE CHAT ON WEBSITE, GUESS WHAT, THAT DOES NOT WORK EITHER!! I HAVE TRIED EMAIL, STILL NO RESPONSE!! THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!!

After wasting over 4 weeks of my time waiting for my delivery and having to leave this review to even get a reply. Tap n Shower have still not rang me or emailed me, despite saying they would on their reply to this review. Instead they have just sent me a refund without any communication or email detailing why?!!

Gobsmacked, completely wasted my time and cost me money. I only hope they spend any profit they might make on a telephone system which works, how a business can have a telephone or live chat which does not work in this day and age is crazy!!!. There is only one conclusion, they must have so many complaints and issues, they do not want to care or to resolve issues, except when you leave a bad review!!

FINAL UPDATE - 28th February 2025
When Tap 'n' shower failed to deliver on a item which had been on order with them for 4 weeks, with their phone lines and chat not working now for over 3 weeks. You will be please to know I am finally receiving my item on Monday from a new supplier. The new supplier order my item from Manufaturer Hangrohe who denied their is issues with supply, hence a few days later I have my item. So Tap 'n' Shower kept my money for 4 weeks with no communication, no phones working and not live chat working, then finally communicate with me via Trustpilot as I left a bad review. THIS COMPANY IS USELESS, YOU MAY NOT GET YOUR DELIVERY - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!

I guess their telephone lines are still not working??!!

Thank you for your feed back. I am very happy to confirm that we are not a scam company :-)

You are quite right that we have had phone issues for the last few weeks, we run an internet based phone system and we have had issue with our network recently resulting in very poor connection between calls often resulting in the calls cutting out, whilst this issue id being resolved we have temporarily suspended our phone system.

You can contact us via our live chat, i can see that when you tried to connect to our chat you were advised that it was outside of our opening hours and the opening hours were provided in the chat.

I can see that you did send us an email late Friday afternoon, apologies that we have not yet replied to this, due to the issue with our phone lines we are experiencing in influx in email and are doing out best to get through them, generally all emails are replied to in 1 working day.

I have looked into yoru order and i can see that the item you have ordered is listed as a special order item, however it does appear to have been delayed and i cannot see where we have been advised of a delay by the manufacturer. I will contact the suppliers in the morning for an update and come back you first thing.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any delay and inconvenience caused.

I placed an order for a bath on 2 November. The email confirmation said nothing about the delivery date. It’s been 2 weeks now and I have not received the order. The phone line is “having technical issues”, for 3 days they have been ignoring my emails and have been ignoring my requests via chat option. Never again I will deal with them and will take a further action

Awful service

I've been waiting a month for a order placed mid October.
After 2 weeks I was told that there was "a delay in production due to materials", but I should get my item by the end of the following week.
When that didn't happen it was because the order was unfortunately lost by the delivery carrier! An urgent replacement was ordered and would be with me Monday.Its now Thursday and no sign of my order.

Is this a scam? Be cautious!

My shower hasn't arrived and customer service is non-existent. I ordered a shower 10 days ago and not only has it not arrived but it appears not to have even been despatched. I'm starting to think this is a con- they have an automated email response to queries but dont follow up, their phone line is suffereing 'technical difficulties' and their live chat just leaves you waiting indefinitely with apparently '1 person before you'. I'm now going to ask for a refund through my credit card as I think this is quite possibly a scam.
Their response to my review is extremely misleading. The delivery address was to a permanently managed reception desk and it simply didnt arrive- the tracking repeatedly said that the item had not been despatched. Also, I left the live chat because there had been a very long pause since I'd had any response. Prior to that I had been waiting 20 minutes for the '1 person before you' to resolve their issue. I have now been told that I will receive a refund within 10 days- different to what they're saying below so I have bought the same item elsewhere for the same price and a 2 working day delivery already confirmed.

I can see that you messaged us on our live chat at 12:03PM, my colleague Riley replied to you at 12:05PM advising that we were looking into your order and would be back in touch shortly (there was no reply to this message).

Your order was dispatched directly from our distribution centre on the 4th November, however after they tracked the order the GPS and signature do not match the delivery details on your order. Our Distribution centre were preparing to dispatch another for delivery tomorrow, however as per your instruction we have now cancelled and refunded your order in full. You will see the funds back in your account in the next 2-3 working days.

Price competitive, service was excellent. We had a problem with tap handle contacted Amelia at customer services she sorted it immediately and replacement was received next day.

What an unpleasant experience

I bought an item from this shop over shopify on 13th of October however I haven't recieve it yet. It's been 16 days and there is not even an update about the item.
I send an email and I just got response after 10 days, on 23th of October as follows:
`Your request (82926) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.
To add additional comments, reply to this email.
This email is a service from Tap N Shower. Delivered by Zendesk`

And now I'm still waiting for an update for this item.
And there is a silly tracking method over shopify application but suprisingly item is not displayed there anymore. I'm required to fill a form again. Just another method to delay the customer. I will do it too.

Ordered a Gerberit Flush plate over 10…

Ordered a Gerberit Flush plate over 10 days ago, phone line doesn’t work, apparently caused by a global issues effecting phone system.
Used the messenger service and asked I could expect delivery, assured it would be yesterday and I would be contacted by delivery company…no sign!!
Contacted again through messenger, to be told warehouse haven’t dispatched item, asked for a full refund, apparently it will take between 5-7 working days!!
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with for customer care…avoid like the plague.
They should learn to provide refunds as quick as they are in taking money!! Horrendous service

Nightmare - avoid

Nightmare. They took payment for my online order of a product that was showing in stock but as it turned out it wasn't. They offered a refund due to lengthy delivery time. But since then it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone to put the refund through. The phone lines don't work. There is just a message saying they have a technical problem and to email or use their online chat. The phone message hasn't changed for over a week. Emails are not responded to. Online chat doesn't work. I just want the refund they offered but they make it impossible to get it.

poor customer service

An absolutely heavenly experience from start to finish! Ordering my shower equipment felt like joining an exclusive luxury club where everyone’s mission is to make you ridiculously happy. The website was so attentive in suggesting the correct products I half expected it to send a thank-you card signed in gold ink.

Delivery? Lightning would’ve had trouble keeping up. I barely had time to make a cup of tea before the doorbell rang and my shiny new shower kit arrived — perfectly packaged like a piece of modern art.

And a year later? Everything still works flawlessly. Not a single leak, squeak or drip — just pure, uninterrupted shower bliss. Honestly, if every purchase in life went this smoothly, I’d run out of things to complain about.
