Used TaskRabbit to help put together some IKEA furniture and had a really great experience. It was super easy to book, choose exactly what needed doing, and find someone suitable. The pricing felt very competitive too. A great service if you need help with flat pack furniture—would probably use again.

Damage caused during assembly
The times were changed. Then the assembler was changed. Then the date was changed. The they turned up a day early so had to come out of work to meet. The bed was set on the wrong wall in the bedroom and newly decorated walls were destroyed. Awaiting a response from Taskrabbt to rectify

Totally let down
I booked and paid for Taskrabbit through Ilea. I got a link to book the day I wanted the contractor to arrive and had to put my bank details in. I thought this was odd as I had paid.
I had a contractor confirm and booked for Wednesday 29/04/26 at 8am.
On Tuesday evening 28/04/26 I received a message in the app from a different contractor saying they would be at my property the following morning, they showed in the app as prepaid. First thing the following morning I contacted the first contractor to say there was another contractor who was prepaid. He said I should cancel his job as the other person was prepaid, which I did. The prepaid contractor then cancelled the job at 07:15 leaving me with no contractors. To add insult to injury I have been charged for cancelling the first contractor 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Laszlo was extremely professional
Laszlo was extremely professional, wore shoe protectors in the house and was pleasant and polite. He put the unit up very quickly and showed me the finished job. He piled the packaging up very tidily. Very pleased with the service.

The gentleman who put my wardrobes up was lovely very experienced took time to let me know of damaged shelves and to advise me what to do to rectify, it helped me alot.
