I must say that I was very impressed with the gentleman who had assembled a bed for me. I had stepped out to walk my dog and run to the Bank to withdraw some cash to pay him when he completed the task. When I walked into my apartment the bed was about 95 percent assembled. So it took him less than 2 hours to assemble the bed. I was skeptical at first but he proved me wrong

Great service, but the prices are way too high plus taxes and fees.

While there's no doubt that it's a great platform with plenty of tasker options near you, there are some issues that don't make it a good customer experience overall.
The pricing is confusing as the additional charges aren't mentioned upfront and only get added later. Also, there's no way to add feedback or rating to someone who cancels or doesn't communicate after you pay the deposit

The app was very easy to use. It's user friendly and smooth. Highly recommended.

He did a great job. It was easy to find someone to work with and while process was clean and easy.

I hired a mover on Task Rabbit to help me move. I went out of my way to be kind. I rented the truck and provided drinks and lunch for him. The tasker neglected to fully turn off the water when he disconnected my washing machine. I came back to the property two weeks later to let the cleaners in, and there was such a bad leak, the ceiling was caving in (washer was upstairs). The carpet upstairs was also destroyed. Tasker caused $20,000 of damages and now Task Rabitt is refusing to pay for the damages. They’ve definitely got a law suit coming their way. I’m sure it’s not their first.
Their practices are SUPER shady. You have very little information about your tasker, often only their first name, self proclaimed skill set and fake ratings on Task Rabbit.
When there are problems, it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone. And when they finally send you an email 2 weeks later, they simply refuse to pay for the damages they caused. Let this be a warning. Task Rabbit is SUPER shady. Will never use them ever again.
