Very disappointing experience with Taxfix, especially considering I paid €60 for a Premium subscription.
For the past week, I have spent several hours almost every single day trying to issue ONE invoice to a French client within the EU — and I still have not been able to complete it.
The advisor assigned to me was unable to explain how the Taxfix platform works or which tax details I needed to select in the app. I followed her instructions, only to be told later that the invoice was incorrect. She then gave me additional information in small steps, meaning I had to wait 24+ hours between questions and corrections.
At one point, I had to contact Taxfix technical support myself and essentially beg them to help me understand what needed to be done or to get in touch with my advisor, because the advisor had told me she would contact support but apparently had not.
Honestly, communicating with my advisor felt less helpful than asking ChatGPT. She was unable to clearly answer basic questions about using the platform and did not provide the information I needed to complete the invoice.
I have spent hours of my time and €60 on Premium, and after a full week I still have no finished invoice. This is a very simple intra-EU invoicing situation, and I signed up for Taxfix specifically so that I would not have to figure these things out myself.
At this point, I am discussing to moving to another tax agency. Paying for a Premium service and still being unable to issue one basic invoice after a week is extremely disappointing

My experience with Taxfix Spain was terrible, especially because I moved to Spain as a digital nomad and chose their cheapest plan.

In my case, I needed much more personalised tax support. I ended up having problems with my tax filings, received several fines, and later discovered that many expenses I thought were deductible were not accepted by the Spanish tax authorities as I expected.

If you have recently moved to Spain, are self-employed, or are here under the Digital Nomad Visa and don't fully understand the Spanish tax system yet, be very careful. I strongly recommend finding a dedicated tax adviser who can actually follow your finances and warn you about potential problems before they happen.

Tax mistakes in Spain can quickly result in penalties, so proper guidance is extremely important.

If you already know the Spanish tax system very well and understand exactly what you need to file and deduct, Taxfix may be a useful platform. But for beginners, based on my experience, personalised professional support would have been a much safer choice.

Whenever I contacted them, they were responsive and tried to find solutions to help me. The reason I didn't give a perfect rating is that I discovered this year that my income tax returns for 2022 and 2023 had not been filed. I should mention that I had a monthly subscription with them from 2022 through 2024. Because of this, I assumed they would prepare the returns and send them to me for approval, but that didn't happen—especially since I am not from Spain and was relying on their guidance. When I asked what had happened, they tried to shift the blame onto me. I never received an email with a tax return for approval; I only got a general email asking me to recommend them to friends—which did mention the annual return in passing—but there was no email actually sending me the return for approval.

Terrible communication and zero reliability in my case.
They cancelled my account completely out of the blue, without any official notice or explanation (before fact).
To make matters worse, when I reached out in August to get a consultation, I only found out after the fact that my assigned accountant was unavailable for almost the entire month.
A service provider should inform clients about such long absences in advance, not leave them in the dark until they actually need support.
Closing accounts without warning and failing to communicate staff availability is unacceptable for a financial service. I do not recommend them.

Very disappointing experience with Taxfix.

I paid around €50 per month because I wanted professional accounting and tax advice, not simply access to an app.

For over a year I sent my invoices and expenses directly to my assigned adviser through the Taxfix chat. This way of working was repeatedly accepted and I was never told it was incorrect.

For Q2 2026, I sent all my documents on 30 June, before the deadline. My adviser confirmed that he had received them. Nobody told me that I needed to complete an additional step elsewhere in the platform.

The deadline passed and Q2 was not filed. I later discovered that my 2025 Modelo 100 had also not been filed on time.

What disappoints me most is the response. Instead of acknowledging that something clearly failed in the professional service, Taxfix has relied on its platform procedure to place responsibility on me.

If the process I had followed for over a year was wrong, why did my assigned adviser repeatedly accept it and never correct me? And why, after confirming that he had my Q2 documents on 30 June, did he not tell me before the deadline that anything else was required?

After experiencing this, I also found other public reviews describing similar concerns around missed deadlines, adviser communication and disputes over responsibility.

I have now cancelled my subscription and will be moving to an independent professional accountant.

For me, the issue is simple: the documents were provided, the adviser confirmed he had them, the deadline passed, and the filing was not completed.

I expected accountability and at least an apology. Unfortunately, I received neither.

They have a great international platform and solid predefined processes. It was a great way to start, leaving no room for doubt or improvisation. On top of that, I have direct contact with a local expert with deep experience in the specifics of Spain."

I would like to highly recommend them for their fast service, excellent customer care, and good communication

2 years ago, having a gestor meant sending an email with invoices and receipts attached. Simple.

Now things take more time because I'm uploading everything to a platform and having to check it. But the gestors are responsive and overall it is worth the money.

I highly discourage anyone from using this platform. My tax advisor, Susana, has failed to inform me of the correct deadline for the submission of Modelo 210 (non resident tax), and I am now facing a fine from Hacienda for the late tax submission.
Taxfix are now washing their hands off any responsibility for the poor handling of my case, and I have been directly told that a professional tax advisor advising a client to submit "as soon as possible", without explicitly stating the due date, constitutes acceptable level of service. Their website makes false claims that they notify you of the deadlines for timely submission - only for me to be told after the fine has been issued that "it was my responsibility to monitor the deadlines". I thought this was precisely the point of having an accountant?
The company is a scam and I seriously doubt the professional credentials of their accountants, as such a basic thing would have unlikely slipped through the cracks of a qualified professional.

Avoid at any cost, they have missed my deadlines for Q2 Tax report, kept assuring me that everything is under control and that they will handle everything in time, but they didn't and now I have to do everything by myself just when 1 day left until the deadline, their accountant prepared a tax report on 17th of July with mistakes in it, better to find another service or handle it by yourself

The website is well done and organized (although the communication on the website is slightly childish). The professionals are kind but not extremely useful: it seemed that there was no solution for a very simple problem I had, but I could easily find the solution myself - using Chatgpt…

Everything about Taxfix is great. They answer really quick and give you all the information you need. My accountant, Silvia, was always very helpful to me. I totally recommend Taxfix España

It worked well, response times were not what they promised.

Also the response times were not bigger than what I expected like you said, they were bigger from what Taxfix said they will be.

Such a great platform, Taxfix is!! I am absolutely impressed. They registered me as an Autonomo in 3 days. The online platform they have is very easy to use, which have everything for an Autonomo. Everything was crystal clear. Superb experience.

I am new in the Spanish system and the Gestor assign is very patient and has help me a lot to understand. I am happy that I found this app.
