Amazing taxi company. Easy to book with. Our flight was over an hour delayed, but the taxi driver welcomed us and wasn’t stressed about the situation. He was holding a sign with my name on it, making him easy to find. He was chatty and gave us plenty of great tips about Crete and things to do. A wonderful and reliable start to our holiday!
Back in 2012, we had the good fortune to meet Kostas Kourgiantakis just as he was about to start out on his own. We emailed him in February 2013 and he informed us that we were officially his very first confirmed booking for the 2013 holiday season!

After booking our holiday in Crete we had to arrange our own transfer between Chania Airport and Anissaras - a trip of about 2 Hrs 40 Mins. I didn’t want the hassle and risks associated with a hire car and instead started searching for airport transfer companies. I need to be confident of their reliability and trustworthiness; I checked each search result on Trip Advisor. The results were consistently poor and so I switched my attention to taxi companies. I found Taxi4Crete and although they had few reviews they left me with a positive feeling. Kostas responded to my initial query within a couple of hours and subsequent comms were excellent - quick and clear responses. I need a high degree of confidence where my family is concerned and I never had any doubts with Kostas. I loved the fact that there were no financial transactions ahead of time - you agree the cost of the journey ahead of time and simply pay the driver when you get to your destination. We were met at Arrivals as promised with a name plate. The journey was safe and as expected. A lovely start to the holiday! I'll be contacting Kostas soon to confirm arrangements for the return journey. In sum, I highly recommended contacting Kostas for any Crete taxi requirements. Should also mention his English is excellent!
