The worst taxi experience in London by…

The worst taxi experience in London by far, always cancel 1 minute before, always take the longest route and usually the most expensive taxi despite their claim to be the cheapest. Overall it’s a disgrace

Never use this company

Never use this company, I took a taxi to standard airport and the driver took the wrong route and charged me £30 more than quoted, I got in touch with bolt and they refused to give me a refund saying the driver took the right route most of the way so I’m not eligible for a refund , are they serious?

AVOID BOLT APP

I strongly advise to avoid BOLT APP - It charges you unfairly. I booked a car today, got it canceled with a bill to pay. Weak costumers services too. Big concern about COVID-19, if I had the virus couldn’t tell them too. What a shame!

Thiefs!!!

I used bolt in Stockholm, Sweden. The driver drove to the wrong adress and refused to move so we had to walk around and look for him, on top of this the driver charged us because he had to wait when it was his fault in the first place!!!

Customer support does not reply to email. Zero interest in clients

I have a very negative experience with Bolt in Austria. I needed a receipt for my trip with Bolt because it was a business trip. It was a very long email exchange, and they refused to provide me with a receipt issued under the name of my company. The support in Austria simply told me that they are not interested in me as in client. They demonstrated 0 willingness to help. After that they simply stopped to reply to my emails.
Once I sent them a request to send me a copy of my personal data. They also did not reply. I hope the company with such treatment of the clients will die soon.

Horrific experience aggressive driver

I ordered a taxi on my birthday and was collected by the wrong driver who insisted I was his customer. He could barely speak English and was aggressive. He then started driving in the wrong direction and when I told him he began getting angry and parked in a location around a mile away from my home in the wrong direction. He began shouting at me and when bolt called him asking where he was he forced me to speak on the phone and then aggressively forced me out of the taxi. I spoke to customer services who gave me a 15 pound coupon coded (I was already using a 12 pound code). I then noticed I had been charged 9.50 for the driver who was meant to collect me originally claiming I did not show up. I was promised this as a refund but now bolt have rescinded that claiming I must pay the driver for his time. So I am 10 pound out of pocket, driven a mile in the wrong direction, forced out of vehicle, made to be around an hour late for my birthday party and quite frankly traumatised by the experience. And now bolt think it is acceptable to charge me for this.

Don't ever use them

Don't ever use them , i booked them on Sunday from airport to Lidcombe , the amount showed was $37 after first timer discounted price, BUT after reaching the destination they charged me $48 , which is a RIP OFF !!!
Please do yourself a favor to discard them !!!!

Tried to use Bolt in Latvia

Tried to use Bolt in Latvia. Driver didn’t turn up to the location. Then app claimed he had arrived when it was clear he had not. Called him and could not communicate. Had to cancel and got charged. Frankly appalling experience. Will never use again.

DISGUSTING!!!

If I could give no stars I would! Quoted for a trip and then they took more money from me. Contact with support is useless. They ignore you. I want to delete my account and they keep ignoring me! It’s the most disgusting company I have EVER used!

Taxify or Bolt, all the same bad service

Taxify or Bolt, all the same. I am very disappointed with service!

Tonight I have arrived in Sydney domestic terminal on Mascot and requested for a Bolt ride to home, Bankstown. I saw my request was accepted my car registration number DCM24K, I remember part of the driver name starting with S, may be Syed

While I was waiting for him, he called me from 02 61900985 and asked where am I going. When I told him I am going to Bankstown he didn't look so happy about it. I saw him coming into to Priority Parking A. Then suddenly my request in app is just gone! I waved my hand to him. He pretended he didn't know me. While I charged him, he denied and told me he only drives Ola and Uber! Also denied he picked up my request.

I wanted complain against this driver to Bolt. Then, guess what, they don't have a support contact number. I only had option to send them an email and wait for the reply next morning! Not a good customer service at all.

Next Bolt driver picked up my request hear my story and advised I should never tell driver my location if the call and ask before I get into the car!

On 24th December 2019

On 24th December 2019, my pregnant daughter and her husband requested Bolts service around 12am. The driver fell asleep behind the wheel, her husband who sat in front had to shake him awake and take control of the wheel, i am horrified at the possibilities of what could of happened

I started working as driver with this company 2 months ago it was a really bad experience that I had with this company very unprofessional company response late when you have complained late for dacoument to be uploaded it takes ages and lying about surge price the ridious system is not working if you don’t accept the trip they will block you so aggressive towards drivers I hope tfl should take action against this they should extend uber license they are more professional very good company to work with uber I hope bolt should be band asap from London I will start campaign against this company they treat drivers so badly they don’t know lhow to run and operate in London London so congested city they passing you trip beyond the ridious if you going to pick the customer it takes long waisting of time and they block you so drivers lets be united against companies like this that they take advantage of us please all private hire drivers join the private hire union

First & last time using bolt - Avoid

First time using bolt, I should have received 7 pound credit plus 14 pound credit from a code which was accepted in the app. When the driver arrived, bolt had taken £33 from my account. I arrive home at 1am. I check my app and the driver hasn’t finished the journey. He finally finishes the journey at 1:25am and I am then charged a further £40 quid. Bolt then refund me the original £33. This looks like I have not received my credit and the driver has made it look like the journey was 25 mins longer than it was. As I said first time using this service. I tried calling Bolt support number in the app and the guy hangs up on me. No one is getting back to me via support in the app or Facebook. Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This is very poor service
