I found TaxSlayer easy to use and efficient. My returns were quickly accepted and deposited to my account.

Great service.

I was having trouble with correcting my address. Also my phone number on my file and Mitchell stepped up and did his part spoke with a representative prior to Mitchell. He did not show any interest. Thank you so much for having someone like Mitchell a part of your team.

Liked the process but it was not free as advertised. However all the free ones are t GG e same do see you next year.

Well I used this service last year for free ... came back this year and it starts off saying it can be free ... then forces promp after promp asking if u want this service or that along the way so they can try to get more and more for literally nothing... cost me 90 dollars for something that was FREE last year ... why is there a cost now ... and that's the lowest cost I could possibly pay to have this garbage done ... if I had accepted all the nonsense promps along the way im sure it would have cost me hundreds more ... I accidentally clicked yes on one of them and it was an additional 40 dollars FOR NOTHING... Why would I pay that? Absolute stupidity and if this is how it is going forward I will be going elsewhere

Thanks so much for lobbying to get the free Direct File cancelled and for forcing Americans to pay you instead. Your software is fine, but your practices and honesty with your customers is criminal and insulting. You all are a drain on the economy of America and are making life harder for anyone simply trying to follow the law.

Taxes were easily completed through the program.

Quick and simple

Very easy to use. Set up from previous year entry - then edit for current year totals. All preliminary information carried over so don't have to reenter. Categories set up and all that was needed to enter new values. All that was maybe missing is suggestions for anything I may have missed - though probably not needed in my case.

Unable to remove add on items / charges from being charged

Ridiculously easy to use, makes doing my taxes a breeze.

A little frustrating. No real help, even though I paid extra for help. Not sure I understood all. Not sure why I had to pay state tax. The final amount said - $$ amount. I have not had to pay state tax in past years.
not sure if all correct forms were sent with state file.
How can I find out if correct forms were sent?

Was relatively easy to use. I would like the communication to be better as far as tracking the status of my refund

I found for the most part the software was easy to use. Getting around for specific areas of my taxes was a bit hard at times. I find the pricing a bit high, almost $90 for federal and state which is the most I have ever spent. Most tax services have really raised prices.

This software is easy to use and the prices aren’t too bad. Paying a little more was worth having a CPA look it over and send back any discrepancies.

Love your platform. Easy to use, user friendly.
