I could not for the life of me figure out why my return kept getting rejected. My quesrion to the group was either too general or too specific. I dont know which. What I do know is that it was time for some professional help so I paid a little extra and we found what the Federal rejection code meant and went exactly where the info was entered incorrectly. My spouse had entered the wrong information for his own birthday. Who knows if it was intentional or not, but we found it and fixed it quickly. The returns were approved in minutes. Better to have the help and not need it, well; you know the rest!

Did not ever answer back when I had questions and you didn't ask the questions during taxes I lost money because you didn't have the ny forms.

Cost has gone up way too much

I had a terrible experience with a big name tax place last year, plus they charged me $400. Yours was much cheaper and pretty much the same results. I also like that you are IRS certified. I'll be back next year.

Ive been using Taxslayer for over 20 yrs and have never had any issues...

I have always used TurboTax in the past and have enjoyed discounts from my credit union or Fidelity Investments for doing so. Without any discounts to use TaxSlayer, I ended up paying more to prepare and file my taxes than I have in the past. Also, there is no "built in" tool (like "It's Deductible") for assigning values to non-cash charitable donations. You have to toggle between TaxSlayer and a third party program in order to come up with values that you can enter into TaxSlayer.

Never any discounts when I file. Next year using someone else

It’s an event I hate to do every year. I am a hack. The federal government is the supposed expert. All my money comes from taxes and they still can’t figure out how much to keep 🙃. Restaurants bring me my change other people send me a bill, the IRS takes and waits for me to ask for my change. Glad I have Tax Slayer helping me settle my bill with the experts 😄!

Very well designed app and program. User friendly and easy to navigate with imbedded instructions and advice. I have tried TurboTax and TaxAct in the past but TaxSlayer is better in my opinion.
Will definitely use TaxSlayer again next year.

My final outcome via TaxSlayer was zero owed and zero returned. The first figure was an invoice for $43.99, with the federal filing advertised as "free". I wanted to check on something, so decided not to file that first day. Upon going back on the 15th, my bill was now $98.56!! They told me it was because I was over 65 and several other "reasons". All this for nothing back to me??? It certainly feels like a bait-and-switch to me! False advertising, at least! I will NEVER use TaxSlayer again and I do not recommend them!

My state return was rejected and what they said was wrong with it was not the case. I have sent it 3 times and keeps getting rejected for the same reason.

it's helped me find good deductions and credits

I had trouble uploading my investments because I don’t have MS Excel. Tax Slayer allowed me to upload a .pdf and then contacted my brokerage to get the needed information. It saved me a lot of time!

Great support by email during the filing process. However, when arriving to e-files, I hit a wall.! There was request to multiple verifications through emails, IRS web site and verification App, and could not receive the codes by email, so I got panic! the technical support on the phone was helpful to finish the e-filing. I recommend simplifying the e-filing by few steps verifications to avoid stress and check servers for promptly receiving of verification codes. In all, good experience. Will use it again.

Cost more than my refund even though it was a simple return. also don't know if my state taxes where pain on the websight or if I am still getting a bill.

Disliked the navigation, it was not easy.

I love the ease of using Taxslayer because all of our historical data is stored and Taxslayer doublechecks when things have changed. The help search is easy to use. Thank you for providing an excellent service and making tax time easier.
