A joy from start to finish
I loved my experience buying my girlfriend (now fiancée)'s engagement ring! The website has so many beautiful designs. I emailed Taylor & Hart with my top design choices and arranged to see them in-person in the showroom. They were so professional and helpful, and helped me find the perfect ring within my budget. They explained all about diamonds, which I found really interesting, and demonstrated lots of examples of different sizes, cuts and clarity. The ring is absolutely perfect. My fiancée loves it. I can't recommend Taylor & Hart enough, and I'm incredibly grateful to Florencia for her help.

During the initial order customer…
During the initial order customer service was helpful for payment.
But there were many issues regarding delivery dates. And when it was finally delivered my wife was at home so the surprise was ruined.
After I received the ring I wanted a resize and then they started asking for more money. I had no advice about the size, when buying the ring. Free resizing is false and has many things to consider.
Quality of the ring was perfect ruined by the customer experience as they only see you as a wallet.
Avoid! Terrible customer service
Because the sales person who helped us in person advised me in the wrong size, I was not able to wear my wedding ring.
When later I later returned my ring for re sizing in person, a friendly colleague sent it off. I was told it would take 10 days and that customer care would be in touch.
I chased by email and twice by phone and was always told a message was passed on and that they would call me back. They never did..
Given the price of their rings, you’d expect competent sales people and if they dropped the ball, a responsive customer care team.
I’m still waiting for my issue to be resolved. Can you help Taylor and Hart?

I couldn't be more pleased with the end result of my bespoke ring. I did have to chase a little, but I'll put that down to a lot of businesses still trying to get back on top of things after Covid. But really, at the end, I have a gorgeous ring that I can't stop looking at and am so proud to wear.
Ruined the proposal
I absolutely regret going through Taylor and Hart for an engagement ring. I am infuriated that they ruined a moment that was very important to me, one which I will never be able to get back.
In brief, they took too long to deliver the ring despite multiple assurances otherwise and plenty of time. They never seemed concerned about the deadline and I always had to be the one to remind them that they were falling behind.
I contacted them in May of 2022 in regards to a bespoke design with a deadline of late August. I had a design in mind and some drawings of what I was looking for, which in theory should have made their job easier as they didn't have to conceptualise a design from scratch.
Their FAQ says that it should take 2-5 days to complete a design. Despite only using two of the three free amendments, the actual time it took them was FORTY-NINE DAYS once they received my design. During this time I was bounced around between people as they all took their annual leaves. At a certain point I had to ask the design team to speed up the process, as the deadline was rapidly approaching.
After the first amendment, I was still unhappy with some aspects of the design, but I was worried that if I amended it again I would not receive the ring on time. I expressed my concerns but was assured that it would be delivered by the deadline. I ordered the completed design being told that I would have it by the 23rd of August (deadline the 24th). On the 8th I received an update that it was on track. Then on the 18th I email them to let them know they need to ship it out that day for it to arrive on time. They said they would have it delivered, so I assumed they shipped it out.
Then, on the TWENTY-SECOND, the day before I was supposed to have received it, they had the gall to send me an email with no indication that anything is wrong, that they want me to see pictures of the ring before they send it out! I had to ASK if this meant it was going to be late, they avoided the question and said if it were late they could ship it to my destination instead. Because of this, I had to book another night stay at my expense to be sure I would have the package, and I spent my entire time with my partner constantly stressing and looking at my phone for updates. Multiple times they would promise to contact me and then did not, and kept pushing back the date of delivery. My initial date was significant to me, but I had to settle for the idea of just being able to do it on my trip at all.
Finally they shipped it out when we were leaving to go home. Because the website said they would be shipping via USPS, I set the package to deliver to the post office. Then it was sent through FedEx and I had to frantically try (to no avail) to contact both parties to try to get them to change the delivery address so that I could at the very least get the ring before I had to go back to work. When that didn't work, I finally, feeling so defeated about the whole thing, broke down and told my partner the entire story. This of course ruined the surprise and the magic and everything. I had to call off of work in order to pick up the package and I proposed at a park on our shared day off.
When I complained to them about my experience, their offers to rectify the situation were: a bouquet of flowers, OR champagne, OR a discount on wedding rings. Forgive me, but I don't think that is proportionate compensation for robbing me of the opportunity to surprise my partner with an engagement ring. I will never get the chance to do that again. Needless to say, I returned the ring.
Luckily, we were able to go through another company who did a wonderful job of manufacturing a similar ring, and we retried the proposal so that now we can look back at our engagement fondly. It still will not be the same, but it was the best I could do after all of this.

Absolutely fantastic
Taylor and hart were fantastic from start to finish with helping me create the perfect ring for my partner. We went to their lovely showroom together and Emily helped us narrow down what we wanted with no pressure but with plenty of advice and guidance. I couldn’t recommend them more.
Shocking - poor craftsmanship and care.
Shocking.
I proposed to my fiance almost a year today, in that year barely had the ring on her hand.
I had a diamond and sapphire ring created for her and within a week a diamond fell out and a sapphire was loose.
we sent it back to be repaired and they replaced the diamond with one of lesser quality and clarity.
another sapphire came lose and also again so did the diamond.
finally we decided to allow them to suggest and provide us with a different design to which we accepted and waited another fortnight for.
it arrived with no diamond or gems certification and the main central diamond was rocking in its setting!
we have demanded a refund and sent the ring directly back.
poorest quality "craftsmanship" i have seen with "high end" jewellery, my fiance is understandably heart broken and i am beyond disappointing in their service.
we will be taking the refund to a high street / well known jeweller and finding a ring that will last as expected, i would suggest everyone does the same if considering this company.

Taylor & Hart have made purchasing an engagement ring such a special & personalised experience.
My design consultant listened to all of my requirements & my budget and working within it managed to find & customise my dream ring.
Communication with my design consultant was always prompt & they were always happy to help.
Purchasing the ring was a simple process and the customer service team immediately reached out to say if they needed anything they would be more than happy to help. They also kept me informed of how my ring was progressing through the manufacturing stages which was a nice touch.
I was notified that my ring was on schedule and I then received tracking information from the courier. The ring arrived, and I cannot compliment the boxes the ring has come in, it's in a beautiful black box containing the ring box, and in a lower draw the diamond certificate as well as a complimentary ring cleaning cloth which I thought was a particularly excellent bit of customer care.
I cannot thank Taylor & Hart enough for creating my perfect engagement ring!!
