Got enticed to sign-up because of bonus…
Got enticed to sign-up because of bonus incentives and it's not worth the hundreds of dollars or even thousands. HORRIFIC online banking experience, poor communication. User experience and teams have zero urgency to improve and zero care of new customers, to release such products prove it. Technical glitches everywhere, multiple phone calls, and branch visits required to fix. It's a ridiculous process that is not worth your time.
Worst Bank I`ve ever dealt with
Worst Bank I`ve ever dealt with. They charged me interest 2x on a credit card whose balance was zero (they froze the check for 30+ days) and then took no responsibility for the fact that I was defrauded of 2500$, even though I responded no to the request to allow the transaction, once by text, and again responded NO to the fraud department by phone while I was in the branch. Nonetheless, the money was removed from my account - no explanation given. As soon as all this is settled, I`m closing my account and destroying the credit card.

TD Employees working in their branches are not trained properly. They have no clue what they are doing. They have to call the support to get things done. Why do I have to go to the bank when I could have called myself directly. I will be moving accounts to another bank!!!

As a young adult building a new family I asked them why they keep holding my money and if it can be changed because I can’t make payments on time and am struggling with groceries and daily living. They replied with it’s there policy and it’s not their problem. They don’t care at all about their customers. Just the money you offer. Absolutely DO NOT use td bank. It’s just the worst bank ever. I’ve complained a few times both online and in person. Nothing ever changes with them even though I’ve been with them my entire life they are fine doing business with cartels, but do not care for the regular lifelong customers.

Adding a Name to TD Merchant Solutions account
I have to add a name to the TD Merchant Solutions account. I called at 18003631163 and I was told that I need to go to the branch to do it. I went to Chestermere, AB. branch to do it. At branch, I was told that they don't know about it. My appointment was made that I would get a call from TD Bank on October 28, 2025. I got a call today and I was told that I should call TD Merchant Solutions. I believe either the staff is not trained enough or TD Bank doesn't care about their customer.

I have been with TD for over 20 years
I have been with TD for over 20 years. I am working out of town presently and went into a TD branch near Yankee Valley Blvd in Airdrie Alberta to deposit checks from regular clients. The teller told me that $2000.00 would be available immediately but the balance would be held 5 business days. I thanked her and went next door to do grocery shopping and found out she had put a hold on my total deposit. When I went back to the bank she looked me in the face and lied and said she had not told me that! I politely told her she was mistaken and she had indeed told me that. When I asked for my deposit back they told me they couldn't return the checks since they were already in the system. I spoke to the manager and she did finally release $2000. of my money but I'm seriously looking into changing banks. Absolutely terrible customer service

I am a customer of the TD Bank and hold a TD VISA infinite card. I called this morning (to cancel my credit card) and spoke to a lovely lady by the name of Lydia. It was a pleasure speaking with her, she was knowledgeable, polite, funny, and very professional. She wasn’t over pushy or persuasive but made me aware of several details regarding the cancellation and offered me new products as well as educating me on Aeroplan.It was a great experience speaking with her!

Branch 8244 Capilano mall Edmonton. I had a great experience opening an account with representative Naveen Singh. Very friendly and proffesional. Explained everything I needed to know in less than an hour, and my account was open. Opening a chequing/savings account will also net me $500.00.Lola another bank representative was also freindly and helpful. I really recommend this bank and branch to anyone who lives close by. I hope to stay with this branch forever.
CLOSED MY ACCOUNTS WTHOUT EXPLAINATION
I have been a loyal TD Bank client for over 15 years. Recently, I received a letter from TD informing me that all of my accounts — including my chequing account, line of credit, and credit card — will be closed within 16 business days. The letter did not provide any explanation for this decision.
I have made several attempts to contact TD representatives to understand the reason behind this closure, but every person I’ve spoken with has told me they have no information or authority to discuss it further.
This situation has been both unexpected and concerning. I have a stable income that is regularly deposited into my TD account, maintain a positive banking history, and have no outstanding debts on my credit card or line of credit. All of my transactions are legitimate and transparent.

I recently contacted TD because I needed a replacement Visa card. Due to the upcoming postal strike, they said that it would be sent by courier. After over a week, the card had not arrived. I contacted them and they didn’t know whether it was sent by courier or Canada post. I demanded the tracking number which they couldn’t provide. About a week later it arrived by courier. It was sitting in a thin package on my step. If I hadn’t noticed it, it might have blown away. NO signature required… just dropped off for anyone to grab. WHAT IDIOTS!!!!!!
TD does not protect your money
TD Canada Trust does not protect your money. I have 3 very clear fraudulent transactions, each occurring immediately after the other, and when calling to flag and stop these transactions so that I don't also get charged NSFs, the rep did not want to help. In fact, they stated multiple times they could not help. Only after I kept pressing did they finally agree to "file a report" to be investigated. As soon as I can I am leaving this bank. WORST BANK EVER!
