TD Bank decided to discontinue the Cub…

TD Bank decided to discontinue the Cub Cadet credit card program and is not offering any cards to switch the account to, so I am about to lose all of the credit availability from my credit report which is going to have a negative impact on my credit score.

Trying to speak to customer service to…

Trying to speak to customer service to uphold my account cuz I deposited check all of the customer service giving me different answers. I don't trust this bank at all . Plus the customer service man was in the kitchen making food for him self. I am disappointed and definitely opening a new account with different bank TD BANK YOU SUCK

Best customer service representative

I have been dealing with the TD bank at 845 Niagara street in Welland Ontario for over 50 years. Sharmeen Zia is the absolute best, always sweet and informative. Whenever I am in line and she is the representative my face lights up !! We need more people like her!!!

“Shocking Lack of Knowledge at TD Bank — My Accounts Were Mishandled”

This is by far the worst banking experience I have ever had, and it happened at the TD Bank branch at Steeles and McLaughlin.

I have held a Business Account with TD since 2021, and recently went in to open a personal account. Shockingly, during the process, the banking representative messed up my Business Account, causing my entire profile to disappear and disabling my e-Transfers completely.

I immediately visited the branch to get it fixed and spent nearly three hours with another representative. Despite all that time, he still couldn’t resolve it. Later, I received a call with a “solution” so illogical that it left me speechless — and even that didn’t fix my issue.

According to TD staff, if I have both a personal and business account, I apparently cannot use e-Transfer from both accounts. Let that sink in. In 2025, one of the biggest banks in Canada cannot figure out how to let a customer send e-Transfers from two accounts? Absolutely ridiculous and demonstrating lack of knowledge of their staff.

On top of that, I was told that the only way to use e-Transfer is to merge my profiles, “link” both accounts together, and log in through my PERSONAL account in order to send transfers from my BUSINESS account. I have banked with multiple institutions and have never seen such a bizarre, technically incompetent, and outdated system.

This entire experience shows a shocking lack of technical knowledge, accountability, and customer support from TD staff. I am fully fed up. If this issue is not resolved by tomorrow, I will be closing ALL my accounts with TD and moving to a bank that actually understands basic banking technology.

TD Bank, this is unacceptable — fix your systems, train your staff, and contact me immediately to resolve this mess.

I am currently going without my heart…

I am currently going without my heart medication because of the td fraud department. The branch is ok with me, but the fraud department is holding my paycheck.
Forget about buying food, or paying rent, this department is actually putting my life at risk.

Useless at best

How can I change my rating to No Stars??? They don’t deserve 1 star. Been with the bank 40 plus years. Had issues before but it’s a whole new level of incompetence right now. Auto-withdrawals cancelled resulting in cancellation of services and impacts to credit rating. No ownership on their side even though it is 100% their fault. It’ll take me a month to move everything to another bank, but I am.

They hold my checks..

They hold my checks... I have an small company and they keep holding my pay checks for 6 days... and I am a 15 years clients and that is how they treat us. I am mocing out asap.

They definitely took the “human” out of…

They definitely took the “human” out of banking. Applied for HELOC online and the “person” I dealt with was like working with a robot. They are very black and white and do not try to work with you to help you. Been a customer for decades but not anymore!

their visa system are terrible and disgusting …

their visa system are terrible and their customer service is disgusting my wife visa got expire in 08/2024 and she did not activate the new one, But she got charge from one pre authorize company for tree month September, October and November 2025, So they allowed the company to charge my wife 13 month expire visa and after that they call my wife and threaten her if she don't pay the bill for $210.97 then they send it to credit bureau and collection agency. So Td visa work like Mafia and I'm not recommend to anyone, Just stay away from them before you get hurt or your money gun for no reason.

Went to HOLLICK Canyon td branch…

Went to HOLLICK Canyon td branch there was only one teller! And a old lady being delta with, it's stod online for 40 mins before another teller came, got my business finished and that old lady was still there!!! Longest wait ever, could tell you lots, not good! I am in the midst of changing banks, no more td for me!

Poor customer service, high fees

You would think with such high fees they would emphasize customer service but they have “longer than normal wait times” nearly every time you call. I get much more responsive support from my accounts with smaller banks.

TD Bank gave 21 days' notice that it was closing our accounts and refused to give any explanation. We started with Commerce Bank over 25 years ago, and customer service declined after TD Bank gobbled up Commerce, but this was the worst.

KUDOS TO MYRA TACLIAD - TD BANK - Hewes Way

Last week, I went to TD Bank Hewes Way Branch in Edmonton, Canada for some banking inquiries and was assisted by MYRA TACLIAD. This lady was so accommodating, patient and very attentive to the issues I shared. It is that kind of attitude that Myra exhibited that entice me to continue my banking business with TD.

I went in very frustrated because my bank card had been compromised. My teller was Rafaye Farani and he made the world of difference. He made me feel so calm with his voice. He helped me with everything I needed to get done and was so so kind.

Terrible experience with the TD Bank

First of all my husband and I have had a joint account with TD Bank for over 30 years. It has been a practice of ours (when the other is not available) to deposit checks into our joint account. A couple of months ago they returned our check stating it was TD Bank's policy and procedure not to allow a joint account holder to place into another joint account holder which is Joint. I complained and they stated they would send policy and procedure to us. Never did, Beware we are seniors and our daughter is our trustee. HMM How would that work out if we are both sick and unable to deposit the checks? We also had a terrible dealing with TD mortgage department with our upcoming Mortgage renewal Sept 1st 25. I shopped around in the month of June 2025 for a good rate and I was given one by another institution. I called TD and they gave me a fair rate although not as good, but it made me think that leaving TD would cost a lot of money. I made it known to the TD Mortgage representative that I wasn't planning on making the renewal until Sept 1st, 25 and at that time I was even given a small goodwill gesture and placed into my account.If the Mortgage rep had mentioned to me that I had to sign up that day in June, I would have said "NO" A few weeks later I was told by the TD Mortgage dept that I wouldn't be given the rate quoted as it expired. WHAT??? I called and called, wrote letters and more, and the Mortgage rep would no longer answer any of my calls. In the middle of August 2025, I was warned by TD Bank that if you don't renew your mortgage, TD would renew for a much higher interest rate. I had no choice but to renew for a higher interest rate. Be careful when renewing your mortgage with TD Bank.
