Scam scam scam.
Was signing up for another site after taking what I thought was a survey for Shein. I authorised a payment of £1.72 and somehow it was for tech gadget. Cancelled with them straight away and they confirmed no more payments would be taken. They tried to take another today!!!!! Card has been cancelled

I recieved what looked like an email from John Lewis. I filled in a simple customer survey & accepted a Thankyou gift. I was asked to pay £2 postage. I then found that I had been signed up for a subscription to a discount plan. The company is based in Cyprus & is almost certainly a scam. Fortunately I managed to cancel my card to prevent further monies being taken.

Dreadful, I don’t know how I became a member and I am trying to cancel . Now taken over 100 pounds and nothing. All AI and no one really cares

Some time ago (. Months) I joined this site advertising an air fryer at very litttle cost as an incentive. Join for a very low monthly charge and get huge reductions on electrical goods.
The whole thing is a scam! Air fryer never came to fruition and I clicked unsubscribe, deleted it and thought that was the end. Some months later I noticed £25 per month going to an unknown place and checked ,lo and behold another name for tech gadget!
Contacted and was told as I hadn’t cancelled the trial period the fee had now gone up.
I explained i had tried and they agreed to stop payments in 3 months !!?
A demand for immediate cessation was made and agreed and if I made a review would have a refund of approximately two months payment.
A link was sent for review but suprise suprise it didn’t work!
So herewith my review on trust pilot. DONT BOTHER WIITH TECH GADGET!!

Due to a glitch on a website (or was it a scam?) I was enrolled as a member of Techgadgets (limassol?) and had multiple fees taken.Despite promises of reimbursement & multiple requests over several months and further promises of repayment no money was received. Based on the lack of performance I could certainly not recommend dealing with this business.

I tried to order Norton antivirus from this site. The product didn’t appear and I didn’t receive any communication from the company. I then noticed that two payments had been taken from my bank account. When I contacted the company I was told one was for the product and one for my membership. What membership? This was never mentioned when I was trying to purchase the antivirus. I was told the product had been delivered and I had received communication from the company. There was no product and no communication. I was then directed to an email address to enable the manager to respond. I got absolutely nowhere. The membership I never had was cancelled and the payments were not refunded. The final email from the manager was very cheeky using exclamation marks and ending with “Have a good day” despite knowing that I was upset by the whole process.
