Andrew D was the best

Andrew D was the best. I had a unique situation, and needed a lot of different coverages for large amounts in a short amount of time - I had tried working with multiple agencies and TechInsurance was the only place who could get it done for me.

Easy to get a quote, support was quick to respond and helpful, though it felt like I received a canned response after asking a few questions. Overall, I'd recommend TechInsurance to other freelancers.

Normally I just complete and sign a form and review. This time I got an ambiguous email which didn't make sense as to what the next steps were. I had to go back and couple of times with same questions to complete the renewal process. Previous years were easy, this year more confusing. More time consuming.

The least possible effort

No one called me to discuss anything, everything was done with the least effort and communication as possible. In the past I had agents call me and discuss my plans before renewal periods, and requested the same, but this falls on deaf ears.

What needs to be improved on

The process would have been a lot better with timely response to emails and clarity on the various policies. Where there are multiple policies, a consolidated quote would have made the process easier. Finally, the absence of electronic application process is a challenge and discouraging.

One of my policies has lapsed and I'm…

One of my policies has lapsed and I'm curretnly uncovered because your team failed to send me a form I had to fill out early enough. Even though I filled out the form before the end of the month and sent it in, nothing was done with it. I asked them to confirm if they had everything they needed, no response. Next thing i know my policy has lapsed and they are telling me to ignore that and they are working on it.

The team should be sending me these forms months in advance of termination. unacceptable
