My Experience with Telescope Live
As an astrophotographer living in a city with frequent cloudy nights and heavy light pollution, I often found myself frustrated by the lack of clear skies and limited access to dark-sky locations.
Telescope Live has been a game-changer. The platform gives me remote access to world-class telescopes located in some of the darkest skies on Earth, such as Spain, Australia, and Chile. This means I can collect stunning astronomical data regardless of local weather or my own equipment limitations. I can now focus on what I love most—processing and creating astrophotography images—without the disappointment of missed opportunities due to bad weather.
What I Love Most About Telescope Live
• Access to Professional Data: I can download high-quality datasets from a variety of telescopes, allowing me to work on targets I could never reach from home.
• No Equipment Hassle: I don’t have to worry about maintenance, upgrades, or weather—just pure astrophotography enjoyment.
The latest version, Telescope Live 4, is a significant upgrade:
• Unified Dataset Archive: All observations are now organized into a cohesive archive, making it easier to find and use data for any skill level.
• Partner Network: The platform now includes datasets from a global network of partner observatories, offering more variety and unique targets than ever before.
• Personalized Learning: Onboarding and tutorial recommendations are now tailored to my experience and interests, making learning more efficient and enjoyable
• Enhanced Gallery: The new gallery system links processed images directly to their datasets, encouraging collaboration and creativity within the community.
• Improved Tutorials: Tutorials are now categorized by difficulty and imaging type, with a more intuitive interface for finding exactly what I need.
My advice to fellow astrophotographers is that if you're on the fence about trying Telescope Live, I highly recommend giving it a shot. The platform removes traditional barriers like equipment costs, bad weather, and complex setups. The basic subscription is affordable, and you can cancel anytime, so there’s little risk in trying it out. The quality of the data and the supportive community make it a fantastic resource for anyone passionate about astrophotography.
Telescope Live has truly opened up a universe of possibilities for me, and I’m excited to see where my astrophotography journey goes next!
Telescope Live is an amazing company that has the expertise to show you the universe in an entirely new way. Big shoutout to Ernesto. He went above and beyond for more. Highly recommend you choose them as they are terrific!
Had a very bad experience with telescope live. They kept cancelling my image run multiple times. Then it failed. I requested a refund and they said they would only refund 2 months and even then didn't carry out their promise. They don't even reply to my messages now. I've cancelled my subscription and will never join again. Once they have your money they don't want to know if you have an issue. I would recommend that you look for an alternative company.

Customer Service is Amazing!
i Honestly have never had such a quick and Easy experance and the site is great too Worth ever Dollar!
Piattaforma curata e personale di gestione serio e disponibile
I stumbled upon this service looking for remote observation options. I had absolutely zero experience with astrophotography, and wasn’t even sure if I would enjoy the post processing…but I started with the smallest package and have learned amazing amount from this community and get great joy from the art that I am able to create through telescope live.
I have learned a great deal how to post process the data and continue to learn from the tutorials.
Astrophotography has two main aspects to it. The first is obtaining the data, which has its own charm but can be frustrating, cold, and tiring at the same time. The second is processing the data. Telescope.live provides avenues to both, but unparalleled access to great data if you want to concentrate on the processing side. Let's me spend time honing my processing skills without the burden of obtaining the data over long periods of time.
TelescopeLive is an excellent resource for astrophotographers. A wealth of high-quality data is ready for post-processing in tools and techniques of the individual's choice and experience. The significant and limitless frustrations and costs of acquiring your own data are removed, which can't be understated. The high quality and locations of the various telescopes open the night sky to thousands of targets that would otherwise not be available.
The advanced request functionality elevates the data acquisition to a level for the most demanding astrophotographers. So, various experience levels can be accommodated.
The TelesopeLive team continues to build their commitment to education and support. They offer many resources, including online tutorials and information, to help customers get the most out of the service. Their dedication to their customers is truly noteworthy, and I appreciate the flexible pricing plans offering great value.
The system shows that they have put a lot of thought and effort into making an excellent service.
The team at Telescope Live is responsive, professional and friendly, and you feel like you are part of their community.
Thank you, TelescopeLive, for making so much of the cosmos accessible and awe-inspiring!
Living under the Southern skies gives me access to some amazing deep sky objects but the Northern Hemisphere targets are not visible from Australia, so Telescope Live gives me access to targets I could only dream about from Down Under
Telescope Live for me is a way to explore the southern sky features that I may never be able to image on my own. It's also great to be able to download data when the weather has not been good. I can keep up on processing skills even if I can't image where I live.
This company eliminates many of the barriers in astrophotography by providing access to images taken by incredibly expensive equipment, tutorials by established astrophotographers, and a place for those who love the hobby to upload and share their images and hang out.
If you like to process astronomical images, TL is the best place to go. Remote telescopes allow you to take your own images with an incredible easy workflow, but on top of that a huge databes of raw images (called "one click observations") that you can download and process. Infinite resources. try!
If you are dreaming of capturing and working with the Cosmos, Telescope Live is the right place, with best support team!
A good place to get high quality, already calibrated and focused astrophotography data, I have been with them for about a year or two, with a subscription. They have one click observations, which are targets that have been suggested and turned into data that everyone can buy. There’s also Advanced observations which are a bit more pricey but has more flexibility and you can pick targets. They are more pricey because you are taking away data time from other people. It is good for people who can’t afford, don’t have space, or experience for imaging equipment. It is trustworthy, and takes time to give you receipt’s when you get billed.
I have been familiar with the Telescope Live site for over 2 years and regularly download image packs.
I've become quite familiar with the processing of astronomical photos, even if I still have to learn a lot, in the meantime I've won some competitions in the beginner section.
Unfortunately I don't attend the webinars because I have difficulties with the English language.
In my opinion, the image gallery section on the Telescope Live website is important because you can compare the processing done by other users trying to perfect your own and experimenting with new techniques.
I have used TelescopeLive since January 2022 when I gave myself a gold membership as a birthday present. I have always been thrilled by the processing part of this hobby. 15 years ago I bought my first telescope and worked my way to understand the ins and outs of DLSR capturing of deep space images.
However the days (nights!) of astrophoto imageing weather in Bortle 9 Stockholm (Sweden) are few. Clouds and the summer sky April through to September makes life difficult for a keen amateur astro photographer.
I needed data, raw data, for processing and TelescopeLive became a good solution. My mount with a fixed pier, a cooled astrocam and a good telescope can capture locally but whilst waiting for clear skies I use TelescopeLive data.
It's like playing piano, you must practice every day. The data that I download also has a higher quality than my images I capture here in Stockholm.
For me the era of remote capturing has become a winning concept.
I have been able to practice and improve my skills and the processing knowledge has surged upward very fast.
This is a demanding hobby, lots of practice hours are required and thus a huge amount of raw material is key in order to keep the momentum.
My downloads to date are in the order of 150GB, well spent internet resources.
Keep up with the good work and lots of luck to you with the upgrades you are doing.
Telescope Live is easy to use remotely wherever you are around the globe. I am lucky enough to come across this beautiful easy to use friendly user platform Telescope Live this is really a great remotely operated telescope platform for astrophotographers for new, amateurs or professionals, There are plenty of tutorials for you to go without worrying about how to process the raw data image. Thank you Telescope Live for this great platform available online. I recommend you to this great platform and start this beautiful journey to image the beauty of the night sky with Telescope Live and you will be thrilled with the milestones you've achieved with the help of Telescope Live, and the best part of all this is really a pocket user-friendly monthly subscription.
