We have used Temme English to sell a property and cannot fault them all very clear and professional been dealing mostly with Harriet who has been amazing so thorough and professional very friendly we have had a couple of buyers fall through but nothing faised them just put it back on the market and finally completed today

One thing they advert but the reality is totally different .
"Thanks" to Louise i had to wait another 3 weeks on top to move and now all my Christmas plans are ruined .
Even thought was communicated through the email that will not have any delays , still got a huge delay .

I’ve had an absolutely brilliant experience selling my house with Temme English. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with genuine care.
Things moved incredibly fast — less than two months from the memorandum of sale to completion, which I honestly didn’t think was possible. Both my buyer and I used the solicitors recommended by Temme English, and they were excellent too, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
From the very first valuation meeting, Louise stood out from other agents I’d met — honest, realistic and professional, with none of the sales gimmicks. Tyler and Harry, who handled the viewings, were young but genuinely impressive: polite, attentive, and they understood that listening is key. Harriet kept everything organised behind the scenes, and Dean, the branch manager, clearly runs a fantastic team and network of professionals.
I’ve never experienced this level of service from an estate agent before. I can’t recommend Temme English highly enough — they truly exceeded my expectations. ⭐

This is the fourth time I've used Temme. I wouldn't use anyone else. They are highly professional yet very approachable and always courteous. This sale was very protracted and they kept me informed throughout and chased matters up continually. I highly recommend them

Great manners. Very professional behaviour from the agent. The ladies on the phones had a great attitude. When i arrived at the property for viewing Dean was very informative about he property, the surrounding areas, as a buyer I felt comfortable ringing and asking questions and always got a great response great service and will be using again and recommending Dean at Temme English will be a pleasure great service from all at the Basildon Branch

No manners. The first time I liked the house, but rather left because of unprofessional behaviour of the agent. Let's start with the initial phone call. The lady on the phone had an attitude, but I thought okay everyone can have a bad day, we are in for the property not the agent. Then, when we arrived, the agent didn't even say hi, smiled, said anything about the house. It was so painfully uncomfortable, we just left. It's okay for me as a buyer, there are plenty of properties on the market. But if you're a seller, you might have better luck leaving the door open, putting your number on it and hoping a passerby falls in love with the place — at least it won’t be actively putting buyers off.

My husband & I are incredibly impressed with the Property Management Service provided by Temme English for our 2 rental properties in Maldon since Sept 2023. The team provide excellent support and advice, as well as regular detailed inspections and updates. It's a weight off of our minds to have experienced and professional people deal with what can often be incredibly challenging situations with tenants that aren't keeping to the tenancy agreement. We will definitely ask Temme English to manage the third property we are due to purchase.

We worked with Temme English Basildon branch for the sale of our flat, Dean was so professional and knowledgeable and placed us in the contact with solicitors and surveyors, he has kept us up to date with our sale which was time in a fast timely manner. Basildon branch salesman and director, lied, rude, hangs phone up, late to viewing that they forgot to book, their vendor agreed price on Monday sent all detail etc over then tells me Tuesday they went with someone else after ageeeing my offer, then I went to asking price and was still turned down and estate agent said vendor don’t want to negotiate with me for no reason, we worked out sobering was u tears and now it’s still on market and been put up 10k more don’t use this company even the director isn’t honest or professional I even went to tge vendors house and they was lovely and they said they don’t like the estate agents behaviour either, this shouldn’t be allowed. I also paid my solicitor £1000 because my offer was accepted and Iv not had that refunded because tge estate agents are up to something that’s not honest Shame I will never get an honest explanation Iv been stressed in an appalling manner for no reason at all just wanted to warn everyone so you don’t have to go through what myself and family have I have passed the way I have been badly treated to my solicitor to see what she can do legally as this needs to go further with this estate agents I won’t be treated in that way and they think it’s ok and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be treated the way I was

Just completed on my house today and it was a relief to deal with Mitchell from the Colchester branch of Temme English. He made everything a positive experience, always on call and so helpful. He went above and beyond for me as the sale hit a few bumps along the road. I felt that the marketing and feedback was helpful and they were open to discussing any questions or views I had. Would definitely recommend this firm and if you are lucky enough to get Mitchell even better.

Don't know why the negative reviews are on here , we was with another well known estate agent for 15 weeks and they done nothing really for us only 3 or 4 viewers in that time , would not let us end the contract etc , so at the end of the contract we went with Temme English of Basildon 2 weeks to the day they took our house onto their books they had sold it for us , they was phoning us to keep us updated with feed backs etc Dean & louise are brilliant , hav'nt had much dealing with anyone else really , our sale is going through nicely & they are still keeping us informed every step of the way , cannot thank them enough they are always friendly & helpful nothing is to much trouble even when i ask what i class as a silly question they always seem to put my mind at ease , WELL DONE TEMME ENGLISH 100 % recommend this estate agent .

I would never use this company again they were fine in the beginning but everything soon went down hill. One guy in office is without a doubt the rudest person I’ve even spoken.
Poor service

Had good upfront service and good timely feedback on the viewings. I felt they all worked hard to help us sell. I did feel they could have done much better on the completion date as they had keys but didn’t know. This resulted in a very stressful search and false information. They weren’t very helpful at the end unfortunately so bit disappointing

Dean and the team at the Basildon Branch were a delight to deal with in the sale of my late father’s property. We initially, and so wrongly, went with PB and after 6 months we had only had 6 viewings. Once we decided to go local and appointed Temme English we had a similar number of viewings within a week and a successful good offer. Thank you all at Basildon.

The team at Temme Basildon are absolutely amazing...
Sadly we lost both our parents in 2021 and were involved in a very long drawn out probate. From the very first visit with Louise until completion date the team have been nothing but encouraging, enthusiastic, dedicated and determined to get our sale over the finishing line. They kept us informed at every stage, even contacting us out of normal office hours and always had a smile and time for us when we visited the office. When times were tough we felt they held our hands and kept us strong.
If you are thinking of buying or selling a home, you will be in safe hands and we cannot recommend them enough.

The whole team have been brilliant Darren doing the pictures for our sale right through to the completion on the sale and purchaseof our new home. The service has been professional with impeccable communication keeping us up to date all the time. Our solicitor had been so bad but Lucy and Harriett kept at them and got answers for us.
Absolute 5 star service.
