They do not allow returns for pillows. We bought two of the memory foam pillows and they are severely uncomfortable. DO NOT buy from this company. The strict no return policy is ridiculous, but makes... See more

Tempurpedic Topper
I am a 69yo veteran, I could not afford a Tempurpedic mattress, so I splurges and bought a mattress topper. It does NOT completely cover the bed, it does NOT regain its shape. I contacted Tempurpedic, found out it was not returnable. I consider it defective and they want a picture, the picture does not show that it does not regain its shape. So I cannot return it
I have bought 4 mattresses from…
I have bought 4 mattresses from Tempur-Pedic. Loved all of them until now! The first one bought in 2006 is still in our guest room and fantastic. The second one worked for 11 years and then when it sagged, they gave us credits towards a new purchase. I decided to buy two TwinXL mattresses: One for me, and one for my wife and I bought the adjustable base as well. Because they used to give such great customer service. My wife’s mattress (we have split king) which is a medium is still great. Mine (firm) has been far less than impressive. But the worst of it is the dishonest way they “assess” damage. We did everything right. They refused our warranty claim because there are 2 pencil eraser sizes stains on the mattress cover (NOT on mattress. On mattress cover!!!). Their assessor said this is “water damage”. Untrue. No water damage at all. Especially as the mattress sags on one side and the supposed “water damage” is on the side with no issues. I tried to escalate and that was just a gimmic and the person who "helped" me with escalation completely dismissed my concerns and said there was nothing they could do. I would have kept buying very very expensive mattresses and peripherals from them for my whole family including my two kids who are about to start college. But their shortsightedness and dismissal of my concerns and the lack of facts in their arguments means I will NEVER buy from them again and will tell everyone I see about my experience.
Won't stand by their products
They will claim your issue falls outside of warranty "policies". They hid behind their "polices" which are all written in a way that favors them and screws you
Long time loyal Customer
Long time loyal Customer. Just experienced horrible Customer Service for a high priced product. Thought I was ordering a large pillow and got what appears to be a medium. After multiple emails (that bordered on harassments) I was told I could send it back for an $18,00 charge. This was after 4 days of answering questions with most of them being repetitive. I have been a loyal customer for years and currently have 5 pillows. No more loyalty from me.
We purchased a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base & mattress and had a terrible experience with this company
We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base together, expecting a premium product & long-term durability. Instead, we experienced repeated mattress failure.
From the beginning, we consistently raised concerns that the adjustable base may be contributing to the issue, as the problem repeatedly appeared along the same fold/pivot point used by the base. We were repeatedly told that the base could not be the cause, as the mattress and base were designed to work together. The mattress was replaced twice under warranty, but the underlying issue continued. We even upgraded the mattress on the 2nd replacement to a hybrid model that they assured us would hold up to the adjustable base even better.
After being informed that no further replacements would be provided, we prepared to dispose of the mattress. During that process, we confirmed—clearly and definitively—that the internal breakdown aligned exactly with the base’s pivot point, validating what we had suspected and communicated all along.
We provided detailed photos and video documentation of the failure. Despite this, Tempur-Pedic refused to evaluate the claim—even though:
The defect occurred during normal use
The issue was repeatedly reported prior to this
The evidence directly supports a structural failure tied to their own base system
They also declined inspection or pickup. After requesting escalation, communication stopped altogether.
This experience involved years of disrupted sleep, worsening back discomfort, and the burden of storing a failed product while attempting to work through their warranty process.
For a company positioned as a premium brand, the refusal to stand behind a product—despite clear and consistent evidence—is extremely disappointing.
Buyers should be aware.
I would strongly encourage potential customers to carefully consider this before purchasing a Tempur-Pedic mattress or a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base.
UNDERTRAINED customer service
Malignant customer service. Everyone has a different answer despite confirming protocol with more than one representative. Specifically I spoke with Glenda that told me good customer service is telling their representatives to do better next time (instead of taking the return). Ticket #2463628
This is why every other mattress manufacturer is now winning.
not worth the price
We purchased our Tempur-Pedic mattress less than two years ago, spending around $4,000 expecting high quality and long-lasting comfort. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing.
Both my husband and I started experiencing consistent back pain after sleeping on it. While there are no visible indentations on the mattress, it clearly feels like something has changed internally — it no longer provides proper support and feels uneven or “off” when we lie down.
We submitted a warranty claim, but it was not approved, which was very frustrating given the price and expectations of the brand. Even though the surface may not show obvious signs of wear, the comfort and support have clearly deteriorated for us.
Overall, for the price paid and the reputation of the brand, we expected much better durability and customer support. Sadly, we would not purchase this mattress again or recommend it based on our experience.
This company has overpriced products bad bad quality
This company has overpriced products and they don't stand behind their Warranty. They tried to charge a shipping price higher than what the actual product costs that they need to replace. I spoke with Brooklyn K of Customer Service who could not even do anything.
horrible customer service
We ordered a mattress on the Tempur-Pedic official website. First of all, they did not send me any shipping information within the said window and when I followed up, they claimed there was a "slight technical issue" that caused the delay. Shouldn't they have notified the customers of this delay, instead of waiting till they follow up? The customer service was very surly and not apologetic at all. Secondly, when we received the mattress we noticed that it's not the same as the Adapt Medium mattress we currently have, although it's labeled and sold as such. It's much firmer and thinner than our current Adapt Medium, so firm that I doubt it's memory foam. When I reached out to the customer service for an exchange or return, they said they will charge me $175 for shipping. They boast about their 90 day satisfaction guarantee, but this shipping charge is not communicated in their terms and conditions (only "minus the return shipping fee", no exact amount listed). This feels like bait and switch and although I love Tempur-pedic's products, I am so disappointed in their customer service and will never want to deal with them again.
I bought mattress topper and the next…
I bought mattress topper and the next week it was on sale 100 cheaper and it also had dent on side so it wasn't comfortable in that spot which is where I sleep. Tempur-pedic gave me 108.00 refund for the sale and sent whole new mattress topper. What a great company and there are still some companies that stand behind their products Tempur-pedic is one of those companies. Really happy
Causes lower back pain.
The mattress loses support within 6 months to a year and will progressively get worse and will cause lower back pain when you've never had any back pain before. There warranty is a sham since its virtually impossible to meet there criteria.
Unforgiving Return Policy
Memory foam pillows had an off-gassing smell for days that caused an allergic reaction, swelled throat and difficulty breathing. Customer service refused to take a return or even an exchange in light of these health effects.
Highly discourage anyone from shopping here, for anything. This company has an outdated return system. It's 2026--you can return anything, anywhere.
Frustrating warranty claim process but they honored the warranty in the end.
**Update: After a long back and forth process they finally approved my warranty claim. Even though the process was very frustrating I am glad it was finally approved. I will be ordering my replacement mattress early next week and will only have to pay shipping/delivery.
They don't stand by there warranty they just give you the run around. I sent info and they denied saying the sag didn't meet the requirements. I provided an additional photo closer to my side of the bed and then they said it was stain related. Then I sent follow up photos proving the only thing I could have seen as a stain was a shadow. Now then they wanted a video. It's been round and round with them and honestly it feels very ingenious and like they have no intention of fulfilling warranties. It's been very frustrating to say the least.
Warranty Nightmare Buyer Beware
I have been extremely disappointed with Tempur-Pedic regarding their warranty process. My mattress sits on a metal frame with BC-quality plywood that does not splinter—not just a sheet of plywood—but my warranty claim was denied anyway.
Customer support has been unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to escalate my case to someone who actually understands the situation. After multiple attempts to clarify the facts, I still have no resolution.
For a premium brand that charges top dollar, this level of service is unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase: the warranty process is rigid, opaque, and frustrating if anything goes wrong.
TERRIBLE!!
TERRIBLE!!
I've had my Adapt-Pro mattress under 8yrs.
There's clear sagging in the middle and is so uncomfortable to sleep in. My partner and I both roll into the middle.
I tried calling and there's no way to verbally communicate with the warranty dept.
Ive filled a warranty claim through the online forms, submitted all my photos, get an email saying I need more photos to verify, they literally just copy and paste paragraphs for you to figure out what was wrong with your photos. I've stripped my bed and remade it idk how many times now bc they keep finding something wrong with my photos even though it's clear there's sagging, it's as clean looking as if I just bought it from the store. The most recent email issue about my photos was I need to shut my curtains... "Natural light and lamps can create glares on the mattress" it's MN snowy winter here, there's not much light coming in from outdoors anyways.
It's almost as if they do any and everything they can to deny your claim. I responded back with questions to confirm what I needed to do to ensure I finally got the photo they were looking for and I get an email back saying sorry my claim doesn't meet their standards and closed my warranty out. Are you kidding me! They can't even have a conversation to clarify what they're looking for.
If I'm paying $2500 I'd hope my mattress would last the 10yrs that they claim it to!
It makes me want to never suggest this company to anyone and if someone's thinking of buying one I'm going to tell them to choose a different company!! Definitely not worth the money you invest in them!!
Bought 2 very expensive directly from…
Bought 2 very expensive directly from Tempur-Pedic thinking that the quality would be good along with service. The pillows arrived to my boss while they were away traveling. When they opened the pillow - 1 pillow had an obvious yellow stain on it. I contacted them and they will not replace the pillow. Very disappointed.
They do not return pillows
They do not return pillows, I purchased two pillows I opened one box and I didn't like the pillow so I contacted the company and they refused to return both the opened and unopened box. They don't state at checkout that pillows are nonrefundable. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY.
Buyer Beware.
Buyer Beware.
I’m a disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran who bought a “premium” mattress from Tempur-Pedic because I have serious back and hip injuries and need proper support to sleep.
The mattress developed a small hole that kept getting worse until the internal structure started pushing through. Now the support digs into my back when I sleep.
I filed a warranty claim expecting a company that charges thousands for a mattress to stand behind it.
They denied it.
Their response? A generic template blaming “improper use,” stains, burns, storage issues — none of which applied. No real investigation. Just deny and move on.
So here’s the reality:
Expensive mattress.
Structural failure.
Warranty that doesn’t stand behind the product.
As a disabled Marine connected with the Wounded Warrior community, I can tell you this: Tempur-Pedic just lost a customer for life.
I’m filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I’ll be sharing this experience everywhere I can so other consumers — especially veterans — know what they’re dealing with.
If you’re considering Tempur-Pedic, just understand: when the mattress fails, their warranty might fail you too.

Very poor return policy on items that are not mattresses. Buy off amazon if you must.
Purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress…
Purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress approximately five years ago. We also purchased the adjustable bedframe. There is a spot where the bedframe adjust up, that bends in the mattress. Somehow the foam became weak and ripped. You can see the coils under the foam.
I was not told that using an adjustable bed frame would reduce the life of the mattress. I spent way too much money $6000 on this bed for it to only had last five years and not to be covered under warranty!!!
I even called the store where we purchased it at and asked them if there was anything that they could help me appeal the denial. The employee laughed and said nope, you need to take it up with the manufacturer. How do they know that you didn’t rip it on purpose?
I was like if you Google this issue, there are many, many, many complaints about this occurring!
My advice is to stay away from this brand!!
