Terrible company. If they don't think your case is important enough, they will just say you don't have a case and everything is legal, WHEN ITS NOT. THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR TENANCY ISSUES, AND WILL KNOWINGLY MISINFORM YOU. AVOID THEM.

We usually let reviews speak for themselves, but in this case, we need to correct some serious misinformation.
You contacted us for a free deposit check, and within less than 24 hours, we replied with confirmation that your deposit had been protected correctly by your landlord - including the official deposit protection code. We also gave clear advice on what to do next.
Despite us responding quickly, providing proof, and pointing you to the government-backed deposit scheme to verify the information directly, you ignored that and insisted we were lying - before emailing us with threats at 20:24 to leave a “worst review ever” for our “lemonade stand company.”
For the record, your tenancy was joint and several, meaning the entire deposit was protected under one agreement. To our knowledge, your landlord did everything correctly and you do not have a claim to pursue.
We understand that dealing with tenancy issues can be frustrating, but taking it out on the people who gave you accurate, free help within a few hours isn’t fair. Our team treats every enquiry with care, but we won’t sit silently when false claims are made.

i felt as if i should give up getting my deposit back as my lanlord was always very rude towards me so i thought id have no luck. i found tenant angels online and thought id give them a try. straight away they were on it and assisted me to my needs. within 24 hours they had paired me up to a solicitor and already got the ball rolling. i couldn’t thank tenant angels enough for this! they don’t just help you with that but always there if you need help with the forms and everything too so it’s a win! hopefully the solicitor will help me get back for what i owe

dont bother looking for solicitors yourself
I was looking for solicitors to take on my deposit protection case which was atypical. after filling in few forms with no win no fee solitors i found via google, i had mixed results. some outright didnt bother as they wanted straightforward cases, others wasted my time and didnt seeem interested in chasing it after initial conversation.
Tenant Angels was by far the better way to go. the initial form i filled surprisingly considered my scenario which was missing from almost 90% of the forms I filled.
Additionally and this is the best part, they look for the solicitors for you, match it up and there is someone looking after you and you can communicate via whatsapp. This is exactly what you need in this situation.
I would highly recommend them if youre in a similar situation.

I got in touch with Tenant Angels as a last resort to try and get my deposit back from a landlord. Because of timescales to do with rules for the deposit scheme, I didn't hold out much hope. Tenant Angels texted and called me and were so confident about my case. They were/are such friendly people, putting no pressure at all on me whatsoever, and answering any questions I had quickly and effectively. The introduced me to a solicitor who was going to take on my case and acted as a very friendly middleman. They boosted my confidence so much so, that I contacted my landlord again asking for deposit back, and knowing I had their backing, his attitude changed immediately and he agreed to pay back the deposit there and then. When I told Tenant Angels about this they were glad for me and that my situation had been resolved. Brilliant, lovely, friendly people. Keep up the good work. You're a godsend for people like me

I would not recommend this company
I would not recommend this company. After completing all the forms they requested, I was contacted months later and asked to fill out even more paperwork, despite already going through the process once. The owner was rude and unable to provide me with the correct information by email, and instead I received some very odd and unprofessional messages asking for personal details. Their communication was confusing, unhelpful, and left me feeling like my time had been wasted. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

For clarity, the form you were asked to complete is a standard step required before any case can proceed to court - which was a 'help with court fees' eligibility form. It is a legal requirement and if a tenant is not eligible for fee support, the solicitor will pay the fees on your behalf, ensuring you (the tenant) pay nothing.
After you told us you couldn't find the link to the form, our team and the solicitor made multiple attempts to resend it and assist you with completing it, as we do with all clients.
