Delays

Delay. Delay. Delays. Do not use. By the time they get around to even assessing your damage you have already lost 3 months rent and will still say its just wear and tear. Do not use at all costs

Short Term Rental Insurance - DON'T BOTHER

Short Term Holiday Letting Insurance be very careful, you think youre covered but NO! Should youre property become untenantable for any reason other than specific tenant damage, youre on your own. I suffered a flood event which has put my property out of action for at least 2 months, NO help from Terri Scheer. They didnt even make contact with me until 16 days after I lodged claim. Youre on your own. They couldn't care less in fact. Then they offered to cover very minimal, new carpet yes and drying of old carpet. From a $40k repair bill, they will pay around $6k and to get that has been like pulling teeth. Impossible to deal with. There's way better options around these days for short term rentals. Don't learn the hard way like I have.
