I order online from Tesco every fortnight and I find the service here (NE England) to be exemplary..and if I buy mainly Tesco brands I can feed myself easily for £90 to last 2 weeks. Delivery is only £1.50 for many flexible time slots.
Cheerful delivery men too.
What a comparison with my local shop where the shopkeeper grunted at me to put my hoodie
down when I entered. I'm a 57 year old local for heaven's sake.
Bloody Awful
Got to the point where I want to explode every time I go into the store at Wolverton...
Been recently refurbished and can't find a thing. The work's done but half the signs haven't been finished, are far too vague, or they're just plain wrong.
Diced beef? Oh yep. In the "Lamb" section. Stupid me... What was I thinking? 5 minutes of my life I'm not getting back.
Wraps? "Wraps and Pitta" section. No, randomly round the corner. Stupid me...!
Pizza? In the "Ice Cream & Desserts" aisle. Stupid stupid me...!
Maybe the cat food is in the toothpaste aisle or the wine in the kids toys section. I keep shrugging my shoulders and not buying things because it's not worth the effort, so I wouldn't know.
Stop wasting all our lives and forcing us to look at all the rubbish we DON'T want to buy - Tesco isn't where any of us want to be, so let us just get in and get out again!
Merry Christmas...
Gift voucher limit ??
Tesco Lisburn
My wife tried to purchase 6 Tesco gift vouchers last night at Bentrim Road Lisburn only to be told that you can only purchase 2 per day , I find this hard to believe as there are no signs in store suggesting there is a limit on purchases of gift vouchers .Not to worry as she went to Sainsbury’s and found someone who could be bothered and got the 6 vouchers, only £165 worth but as Tesco say ‘Every Little Helps ‘

I'm a 70 year old woman who suffers with bad panic attacks . The way I was spoken to today in Tesco stevenage by customer services was disgusting I spend over £200 a week in Tesco I won't be shopping there again 😡
Friendly staff
Don't turn up
Don't turn up. Lie they did. Don't offer redelivery for another 4 days.
Tesco ignorant managers and theiving car park regulator!
Beware of this tesco store and staff!!I shopped weekly at TESCO(new square west bromwich) and started tto recieve parking charge notices from their car park regulator. I appealed to them and showed i had reciepts and car park voucher and had fullfilled the terms of parking which they rejected. I went to tesco and spoke to a duty manager who was very blunt and Told me he could do nothing and tesco had NO say in the parking issues! Well he was lying! Tesco own the land and despite me having reciepts and voucher he did nothing to help me as a loyal customer! He told me
New square parking stewards were the only ones who could help when i fact its tesco who are charge of the land. An employee at the kiosk even stated to me that i did NOT need a voucher after 6pm so ahe clearly was misinformed when on training for the job! I am now recieving demands for money to have parked on tesco car park for me shopping at that store!! How ridiculous and disgusting! That ignorant liar manager is a disgrace! Iv not stepped foot in any tesco store and never will again and will spread the word if this thieving ignorant staffed stop. Have shame on yourselves treating customers like this!! Stick to ASDA,MORRISONS,LIDL and ALDIS they wont rip you off with a useless clubcard too.
Disability discrimination from a so-called "disability confident employer"
I applied for a job with Tesco because they claimed to be a "disability confident employer" meaning that if you meet the bare minimum of skills needed for a position you are guaranteed an interview
I have several accumulated years of experience in retail but that apparently wasn't enough to meet this imaginary "bare minimum" benchmark for three different positions I applied for
No offer was made to me, no effort was made to reach out to me and when I reached out to complain about this they tried to gaslight me by saying I didn't get offered an interview because I didn't upload any right to work documents despite me uploading a photo of my passport to the careers portal
It's embarassing enough that I have to resort to a scheme that forces employers to give me an interview in the first place because of my mental disability but it's really devasting to see a leading retailer that claims to be disability confident not give me an interview after claiming they can guarantee one if I meet the so called "bare minimum"
Arla milk - No
They need to stop selling Arla milk -
Chemical contaminated animal feed.
Cardboard v plastic
Great to see I can now buy some foodstuffs eg mushrooms in cardboard trays not plastic or (even worse) polystyrene. When are Tesco going to roll this out across all products?
Delivery failure 2 days in a row
Ordered delivery for Sunday 24 November 2024.received message informing me delivery would occur at 1pm. I rushed home from an outing to await Mt food order and at 4pm received am email that the delivery van was not functioning.
Reordered and earliest slot I could book was 7pm on Monday evening. At 6.30pm I received an email that yet again, because of the delivery van, my food was not arriving. I am definitely not going to try for third time lucky. Tesco has now lost my business
Tesco Extra
Tesco Extra. Gallager Retail park. Sat in the car park for 35 mins trying to get out. One way in for many retailers that creates chaos. Sainsburys here we come.
Just like Kier Starmer, Tesco doesn't care about your nan either
Elderly disabled MIL was scammed by someone online asking for gift cards. She purchased £500 worth despite the card limit being £250. We have shown proof, the receipts, the card etc. Tesco customer service has taken 3 weeks passing this around as an avoidance tactic, and decided now to say they can't prove from actual evidence that their system failed.
They also said there's a disclaimer at the gift card section... which is 7ft high and turned upwards. Tesco you are a joke. An elderly lady was scammed out of her pension and when she asked for help you ignored her, and refuse to take action to stop this happening again. Instead you blame the staff or the victim.
Greedy, malicious and spiteful company, the worst customer service I've ever had to the unfortune to deal with. Needs investigation!
Not bothering with tesco anymore
Not bothering with tesco anymore.
Biggest scam rip off company in the UK.
Prices for junk food extortionate.
Low quality ingredients and half portion sizes.
Even a bar of chocolate is treat size now and they've racked in billions in profit since 2020 with no end to their greed in sight.
Other supermarkets aren't much better tbh.
Customer service a joke I dunno why they are even there.
I withhold payment because usually half the items are missing so I called to see how much the order came to and was told I cannot see the final price until you have paid absolutely ridiculous especially if you have so much missing it's not worth having the order.
You then cancel and have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund in which time you don't have food or funds to buy anything else elsewhere.
I don't eat p0ision foods anymore I buy grass fed from a on line butcher which is more expensive but the meat is beautiful and you feel safe eating it unlike supermarkets.
Yet even without food in my shopping and just potatoes suet tinned tomatoes etc I'm still seeing 150 to 200 pounds to pay for absolutely nothing.
Stand up people buy locally support locally and stop greedy companies ripping us off.
Complete joke of a company
Complete joke of a company 500 spent on shopping with my daughter 2 parking fines
No one available to answer customer service enquiries
We went to our nearest Tesco that sell clothing and brought a jumper and child’s onesie with our main shop. It is a 15 mile road trip to this branch in Shoreham by sea. At the checkout I asked the assistant to remove the security tags and see removed the one from the jumper and said that there wasn’t one on the onesie.
On arriving home we found that the onesie did have a security tag. I phoned the number for customer services but my problem wasn’t one of the eight options on the answer machine. It also says calls are not answered by colleagues.
We are unable to go back to the store in the near future and wanted to ask for advice on what to do. It is a shame that a large company like Tesco can’t have a telephone customer service advice line.
What happened to Tesco?
What happened to Tesco? They used to be the very best. They have been in freefall for years. Quality of food plummeting, customer support non existent, website very slow, freezing all the time and full of dead ends. I rarely shop there any more but every time I do I realise they've made another huge leap towards rock bottom.
We have had good reliable deliveries…
We have had good reliable deliveries all through the Covid epidemic and ever since. Only thing is that they have put up their annual delivery service, so its only just affordable now as we are pensioners. (Still beats another supermarket we wont name... we tried who only sent 50% of our order one Christmas.)
Customer service
Why oh why do I get tge feeling that each time I buy an apple gift card fir my fiance and stepson do I get told that they can't possibly buy food medication or Internet on the gift card .even when I found out that you can use these cards for other products and that I am not in a romance scam and yes my stepson does exist
I can purchase up to 8 in one transaction.
Customer service needs to be updated .
Brilliant customer service
On Thursday 07/11/24 I went to Osterly Tesco shopping for few items, couldn’t found an item, when I approached member of staff Orliks he went the extra mile to help me,very polite and always with a smile.
