This company are the makers of T-CUT vehicle paint restorer. It is marketed as " T-CUT The Original Restorer ". I have used this product for over 50 years and recently bought more , not in a tin as in the past but in a plastic bottle . It is not the same product , as when I tried it the result was very poor and when I complained to Tetrosyl I was told that the formula had been changed about two years ago . My request for a refund was denied also the plastic bottle replacing the tin is not a good idea for the planet .

Missing Item - poor customer service

Maybe it’s because Infinity Wax has been acquired by Tetrosyl but the item had a missing trigger. Rang Tetrosyl to resolve and was a painful experience, the agent had no idea about Infinity Wax and promised me a call back and email the same day, Nothing received. Email Infinity Wax direct who responded but still no trigger! Item is useless without it so can’t perform my service for my clients.

Check the quantity of the product purchased.

Having ordered some oil from this company, instead of the 3 x 5 litres I expected, I received what was deemed to be 3 x 1 litre. So, when wrapping up to return to them, along with with box and wrapping, I would have expected the total weight to be in the range of 3 > 5kg for posting, but was surprised to learn that it was just under 3Kg in total.

Given that 1 litre of water weighs 1kg, and oil slightly less, 3 litres of the oil by itself should weigh just under 3kg. If we then add the 3 plastic containers, and the cardboard box with packaging, into the equation, and still arrive at a weight of just under 3kg, then something isn't right.

When weighing the 1 litre containers full of oil, 3 different readings are obtained, with the lowest being 916g. Something is evidently wrong, and despite a number of questions being asked of them, to try and establish some facts, no answers have been forthcoming as to why these shortages should have occured. The questions asked and ignored were:

What then is the SG of the oil I purchased?
What is the weight of the bottle used including labels?
What is considered a 'normal' weight range for the contents of the bottle?
At what level do you consider contents to be underweight?
What is considered a 'normal' volume range for the contents of the bottle?

This mornings e-mail simply says: Our Technical and Quality Teams can confirm that the weights of the products supplied are fully in line with all legal requirements.

Not designed to fill anyone with confidence! Shame, because the product is good, but it would seem that we're not getting enough of it when purchasing!

Tetrion gold spray is a silvery gold, not golden gold

Don't expect Tetrion gold spray to be a yellow gold like its lid it's not it's more of a silvery gold. And bright gold isn't as gold evidently as this one which is I said is a silver gold. Wasted £6.99. NOT HAPPY.
THE COMPANY JUST SAID THE LIDS DON'T REPRESENT THE PRODUCT! Yet they don't do a colour card!!!!

Customer service gone from bad to worse

Few years ago their customer was ok ‘ ish ‘. Unfortunately these day they provide an extremely low standard of customer service We spend our hard earned money on their products and they have zero loyal support in return. I would give less than one star if I could from what we experienced contacting them for product support.

Who knew aerosols have a best before date?

Attempted to use CARPLAN TYRE SLIK yesterday and it would not spray.
I Rang Tetrosyl today and spoke with David, he tells me the spray has a shelf life of 36 months, why don't they advise customers so they are aware of this and can check the date on the can to make sure it will work!!
Not good customer service.

How has this place not been shut down?

I'll keep this relevant:

1) Managers didn't care at all about their employees, even if they died.
2) Managers didn't care for the wellbeing, development or training of their employees. Everyone is replaceable.
3) The site is run like laurel and hardy and homer simpson are the directors.
4) The site systems are archaic and receive little maintenance, some of the machines are ancient and have not received any care for years.
5) The pay structure is Minimum wage permanently for 95% of employees with no advancement opportunities.
6) Safety is appalling and generally is a very dangerous site to work, i.e. speeding FLT, leaking product oil pipes, shoddy electrics etc. No risk assessments are drawn up for jobs and you need to reject work put forward from managers that contain clear dangers.
7) Management ignore absolutely anything that you might discuss with them, then they avoid u after. I once seen a manager walk around the back of a building through mud to avoid a query regarding terms and conditions I asked a month before when he seen me approaching in the same official walkway.
8) Even trainees and apprentices are left throughout their apprenticeships changing light bulbs or cleaning workshop stores just for something to do instead of receiving training. Any enquiries regarding training to management are ignored.
9) Some people here are ok, but the longer term employees have developed a big attitude problem, especially the older men, because of how this place has ground them down over the years.
10) I've never seen the owner walking around any of his sites, this is just a testament of how much he cares and this lack of due diligence trickles down through the ranks and its clear to see at all levels.

In conclusion, stay clear or be prepared to develop a mental illness working here and to be very poor for the rest of your working life. Thank You.

They operate an eBay company called spares world direct. Couldn’t even send the right track rod end for a Boxer which has only one fitment.

Wouldn’t accept return and I was asked to pay postage. Return address was to Tetrosyl.

Recommend avoiding this Group

Not surprised that they haven't claimed ownership on Trustpilot. Very unprofessional company, had a bad experience with one of their products from the Tetrion range (Terrosyl group), sent a polite email including substantiation, never received a reply, month later, second email, nothing. Customer service and communication is on par with their poor quality products I guess.

No quality control. No customer service.

I bought four colours [white, red, blue, yellow] of their Tetrion spray paint.

The blue and red were OK [not great, but OK]. The white was a bit weak. But the yellow wasn't paint at all: just a vaguely yellowish varnish, with virtually no pigment in at all.

I took the can back and got a replacement. Same result. It ended up with seven coats, and STILL not covering the colours underneath.

I sent in a complaint to Tetrosyl. No response.

T cut scratch magic

Just fixed a scratch on my vapour grey metallic xf. I was apprehensive due to poor reviews on some sites but it took longer to shake the pen than doing the fix. The result was so AMAZING I asked a neighbor to look and he couldn't see where it was! My scratch was a fine one so maybe the poor reviews were due to wider/deeper scratches?
So goodbye body shop who quoted £200!
Brilliant, so pleased.
