We visited Bamboo House in St Neots as a large family group of 14 with a mix of ages and had such a brilliant experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout, and nothing was too much trouble.

We chose the buffet option and the quality and variety of food were amazing. They were always happy to bring out extra plates or dishes if we wanted more, which made the whole meal feel really relaxed and generous.

As it was a birthday celebration they went above and beyond, adding flare to the cake, giving a small gift, and really making it feel special. The service, atmosphere, and food were all fantastic.

Would absolutely recommend for families, groups, or anyone wanting a warm, welcoming place with top quality food and great hospitality.

Unbelievable exquisite food in this restaurant absolutely elegant

Normally I always check reviews, but the page did convince me. Well, learned a lesson, I received no tracking details whatsoever, it took a few emails until I finally received a response with “if you haven’t got your purchase call royal mail”.
Now I’m stuck with horrible underwear panties.
Lazy, unprofessional, low quality.

Absolutely appalling. As some other reviewers here have said I too was under the illusion that there was some technological design that created a fabric to absorb without leakage, but no, and again as others have said, these are basically nappy. The photography must have been done by some sort of wizard because they manage to make them look rather nice online but IRL they are hideous.

Despite following the size guide provided what arrived was MASSIVE, I expected good coverage but these make "granny knickers" look small. When I contacted CS about this their reply was "It is unfortunate that the products do not suit you, have you tried them on?" - not highly professional or customer service focused.

Delivery took about 10 days because despite advertising as a co.uk company items are shipped from the manufacturer & returns must be made to FRANCE at buyers expense.

When I objected to this & pointed out the injustice in the fact what they have sent doesn't match the size guide & nor is it made clear during check out that returns are international they basically responded that I had to pay the return if I wanted the refund - not worth the cost and effort - so I class these as yet another sleazy scammy business making money by selling below par poorly described products and counting on keeping sales money as it's not worth the return. The official address is a gmail address so it' likely a tin pot size company and with this attitude and conduct I doubt they'll get far.

In addition there is a 14 day return window and having emailed them 3 times (one whilst waiting for delivery and twice after) it is my experience that they take days to reply.

Not impressed at all, not with the company and certainly not with the nappy product that I cannot imagine any grown woman wanting to wear.

I ordered 3x pairs of period underwear and although the money went out of my account, I did not receive order confirmation or receipt. Instead I was bombarded with junk mail about purchasing more items. I sent an email regarding my purchase order and the email bounced back, sent an email on their website and still nothing. I wish i read the reviews before, just so sad that companies do this and con people! Also disheartening when the attempt was to use more sustainable products and after reading people's experience, turns out they are not and it just leaves a bitter taste in the world we currently live in. Also noticed how every time you go on the website, it displays a 'sale' to capture you.

These were awful! The material were so bad 0% breathability and caused a rash. The fit themselves were super tight and this just isn’t something I usually struggle with.

One of the three period pants I bought from this website fell apart after just 4 wears, quite a far way from the ‘lifetime’ that the website says these knickers will last. When I asked for a replacement pair they told me the knickers are built to last 1-2 years, but nevertheless didn’t believe me when I told them I’d cared for the pants in the way the website suggests and refused to give me a replacement.

Arrogant owner. They just put extra oil to make food tasty. Please if possible stay away

Wish I'd read the reviews here before buying! I have some period pants from a well known brand and have been so impressed, but thought these were worth a try at the price. Took weeks to arrive and when they did arrive it became apparent that the quality is terrible. Cheap material, poor fit, uncomfortable, but most importantly, not absorbent. Worlds apart from my previous pairs and only fit for the bin.

Why oh why did I not read these reviews before buying period pants from this place! Just beyond shameful! Another scam of a company masquerading under a fake 'eco conscious' ethos. Just awful.

The products are cheap and not even labelled. I received two pairs stuffed in a padded envelope. No logo, no tag, not even any that indication they were new, no wrapping nothing. The customer service is passive aggressive at best...... i.e we cannot refund your request :( (I got lots of smiley and sad faces in our correspondence)
Hilariously, they said there was no packaging or labels as they were eco conscious and that receiving things without packaging may surprise me (Patronising) but they are looking after the environment. Funny that! You cannot label or wrap your products but you can stuff unbreakable's into a bubble wrap padded envelope? What absolute nonsense!

I pushed and pushed to get a refund as I have just had enough of dishonesty, lies and people just grabbing at money......It is shameful!
I got my money back despite having to pay postage to France but I didn't care, I was not going to let another company get away with it.

What is sad though, Bamboo House do not care. They don't care about their products, they don't care about their customers, they don't care about the environment and they don't care about all these bad reviews....sums them up really!

I was sent two pairs of wrongly sized (3XXL instead of 6 ) which I ordered and was told it was the same size. When I emailed them to say wrong size they said try them on over a pair of clean pants - I said I had done this over two pairs of pants! They couldn’t give me a refund because of hygiene reasons only an exchange! - ludicrous logic as they would no doubt resell the returned ones! Also had to send to France! ( had been no address on website or returns policy) I think selling and sending wrong size and not offering refund for returns is illegal) all emails came late my guess is to extend the 14 days return timing so you have little chance of being within the return time frame!
To be ecological and yet not ethical and conduct proper customer service is lacking in integrity which goes against an ecological product!

Bought a pair of period pants, terrible quality and useless. Leaks after less than one hour, was at home thankfully. Really disappointed with this product. Rips down both front seams and too High Rise. Sat over the top of my jeans. Poor customer service too.DO NOT BUY

Terrible avoid at all costs! I thought I was buying eco bamboo pants from a UK company. Turns out they are from China and made of cotton and polyester!! They look cheap and very bulky, I intend to try for a refund but looking at some these reviews I don't hold out too much hope! Avoid avoid!!

I bought two pairs of the leopard print period pants after seeing good reviews on the Bamboo House website. Within 3h of wearing them I had a severe leak, causing staining of the underwear, my sheets and mattress protector, despite the website's claim that they hold the equivalent of 4 tampons. I complained to Bamboo House and was initially informed that small leaks can happen. I emailed back to explain it wasn't a small leak and I would like to return the underwear for a full refund. I was then offered a replacement pair which I declined as I would not feel confident wearing this product outside my house. I explained their website claims that you can get a full refund if the product is defective or does not meet the product description which was the case. I received a message back explaining that I did not qualify for a refund as it had been more than 14 days. I replied to say it was less than 14 days when I first complained and they had wasted a week emailing me back and not addressing the problem. I then received an email saying that they would not refund the underwear as it was against their policy to refund or replace period products. The upshot being that I am £50 out of pocket and the proud owner of two pairs of absolutely useless period pants. As an aside, I have had no problems with other makes of period underwear.

I also posted this review to their Facebook page and website - both negative reviews were promptly removed by the company

Like many others, I wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot and bought similar items from another more reputable retailer. Initially the underwear looked great but after washing, as they advise before wearing for the first time, they looked very bulky and uneven. I decided to give them a go anyway as i had bought them for wearing at night only. To be fair, I didn’t experience any leaks but after rinsing and washing, again following their advice, the blue pair are stained around the legs and the inside stitching on black pair already has a hole appearing - after only 1 wear!! I did leave a review via the link sent by the company but surprise surprise I can’t see it on there. To others thinking about purchasing, please look at other sites and read the reviews first.

So disappointed. They looked so pretty on the website.. I thought they were made of clever super absorbent material but no, basically just a nappy. Really bulky - I would never wear them unless maybe after having a baby?? Also I ordered a size 10 and they are massive. At least a size 16. I’ve emailed them and hope I can return as it’s 3 pairs.
Took about 3 weeks to get here so my hopes are not high :( gutted. Avoid please.

A few months ago began to look into more eco-friendly period products and after lots of searching, found period underwear would probably be the best option for me so I bought 2 pairs to try. These underwear are great, no leakage, comfortable and they hold a huge amount of blood which is just what I wanted. They’re easy to wash and don’t leave harsh underwear lines under thinner clothes which is bonus. I’ll definitely be buying more pairs.

Couldn’t find anywhere to leave a review on site! Product doesn’t come with any packaging or instructions. The pants look great on the website and the options for patterns and “normal” looking underwear really drew me in. Unfortunately the pants are cheaply sewn, threads visible and the waistband baggy. The sizing doesn’t seem correct either, ordered a “10” it came with a size L written on the back and feels loose around the waist and thighs compared to other brands like Modibodi. Also found that the shape of the “pad” inside is visible when wearing tighter fitting clothes, literally looks like I have a nappy on. Just not fit for purpose and I will only be using these around the house on light period days as I’d be worried about leaking. Save your money and go with ModiBodi!

I made an order after seeing how good their sale was, but then requested a refund after seeing all these terrible reviews and realising the logos of the newspapers and companies (Cosmopolitan etc) had advertised them, did not have links to the articles. This all worried me about the website's authenticity and so I emailed them within a few hours of placing my order.
I was also worried that they were not as eco friendly as advertised.

They responded to my email within 12 hours, and agreed to give me a full refund, which I received around 24 hours later. Good customer service, very responsive.
