Really disappointed

I really wish I had checked reviews on here before purchasing period pants and pads, as I feel it was a waste of quite a lot of money. The pants came with holes in them around the stitching, the pads are enormous and don't stay in place as the backing material is very slippy. Just poor quality for the price. Really disappointed and would not recommend

They arrived on time and as expected

They arrived on time and as expected. They work just fine, though they're not as thick as ones by other brands. I had no issues with leaking. I washed them all before and after use and that process was fine too. I don't know what is going wrong for other reviewers! They're very soft. The lace and trim is of lower quality than I had hoped, but they do match the photo.

Leaked within an hour!

Bought these for my daughter and myself. Hers leaked within an hour. I contacted customer service and they tried to insinuate it was my fault. I ordered wrong size, my daughter was too slim I’d washed them incorrectly. All of which I followed by their site recommendations.
They refused to give even a partial refund. I couldn’t even send the unused pairs back because I’d washed them. Which is what they advise before wearing.
Mine have been washed at 30 and feel like they’ve shrunk they are only good if you have the lightest of periods.

Wish I’d seen trustpilot before I wasted £100 with them. don’t believe the reviews on their site, any negative comments are deleted. Including on Facebook page too.
Don’t let this put you off period underwear entirely though. Look for a company that does money back guarantee

Awful company, don't buy

I've purchased two period pants for myself. it took 10 working days to be delivered after they dispatched. Packing is just awful, even both of pants were not folded properly. And design is not same as images on their website. Also they put a wrong one.

Firstly I wanted to refund them as it was disappointing me, however, as others said, I have to pay delivery cost to France which is really costly.

Therefore I tried one of them as I'll be fine at least the pants can work as expected. Eventually, the pants doesn't absorb anything.

Do not buy from them. They are just terrible, like a scam.

They have refused to let me cancel an order.

I have asked to cancel an order the next day before it has even been PROCESSED or sent. They said no, I'd have to wait for it to process, be sent out, receive it and send it back to France out of pocket. I've never known anything like it. Not happy.

Terrible

Terrible! The period pants don’t work, they have some padding but I don’t believe it is bamboo. The pants leak, stain the outer fabric & don’t control smell like other brands.
They eventually refunded me for the 2 pairs I tried but only after a lot of back & forward where they first claimed I had probably bought a size too small and or my flow was too heavy?! I also had to send pictures of the stained underwear which was not the most pleasant of experiences.
They refused to refund me for a 3rd pair which for obvious reasons I hadn’t tried but at that point I’d had enough & so gave in.
Avoid at all costs. Seems particularly cruel to scam women with a bad period product. Thankfully I was at home testing these out or it would have been quite embarrassing

Total scam.

Total scam.
The products are of terrible quality, with poorly sewn joints, non straight cut netting, totally inadequately padding (with the absorption capacity of a teaspoon of sand), almost certainly made entirely from oil-derived plastics (despite marketed otherwise as bamboo made eco friendly products).

The company is clearly based in China given how long it took to arrive, and the email response times being around 2-3 am. The customer support representatives even lied to me between emails...

Avoid at all costs...

Awful products and customer service

I’m only giving this company a 1* as I finally received a refund for the extremely poor quality goods I received.
I paid a fair amount of money for two pairs of periods pants, that arrived in a Jiffy bag with nothing else at all (in their response, they said that maybe it’s a shock to people that they are trying to use less packaging as they’re an “eco” company. Personally I think they just ship the stuff direct from China as it had details of an Asian name and address as the origin on the package.)
Both pairs of underwear were completely different sizes and the product quality was terrible.
I emailed them as soon as they arrived and was told I have to send them back and pay for postage. I queried this and they advised that I “don’t qualify” for free postage. After questioning this yet again and citing their conditions for a free return, which I met all of them, they asked for more photos and advised they would replace the incorrect sized underwear free of charge, but I would need to still pay for the return.
I found their Instagram page which had so many negative reviews on the product and customer service (I wish I’d see this before I bought the items!).
I ended up writing my own review on their insta page, not once, but 3 times, as they deleted every comment!
I then emailed them again, as I hadn’t had a response, and advised that by then not replying, it’s prolonging the return, which means they could use the excuse of, the items returned to late, so no refund will be issued. I also questioned that the package states if it’s undeliverable, then to send to a PO Box in reading, so why can’t returns be sent to this address as the postage would be a lot cheaper for those who don’t “qualify” for a free returns.
They finally responded and refunded me without asking for the goods back, which I was surprised about.
I’ve since checked their Instagram page and funnily enough, all 25 negative comments/reviews have been deleted, so they clearly don’t want people to know what an awful corrupt company they are, who really aren’t eco friendly at all and just seen a scam to me.

Awful. Do not work. Only for ladies of leisure.

I had been thinking of try these period pants out and ordered some after carrying out extensive research. Let's just say that they failed horrendously while at work. As a fail safe I wore a pad and extra pair of pants but that did nothing to stop the flow from bloody escaping (pun intended) would not recommend especially if you work miles from home and on the road. Peace out.

Terrible product and wrong order…

Terrible product and wrong order received. The products are awful - very cheaply made. The pattern cutting and stitching is very uneven and likely to fall apart within a few weeks. I have emailed them for a refund but they want me to send the products back to France even though I received the wrong order. Am disputing through PayPal. Their website is a front for a French company which in turn looks to be a front for a Chinese company. All very disappointing when the total cost for the package was c£3.50 (custom label).

Scam! Do not buy from this company!

If I could give less than one star I would, do not buy from this company!

I spent over £70 on four pairs of period pants. After a little research I found this company are just a UK front for a French company, La Maison du Bambou - I had a little read of their Trust Pilot reviews (sadly I had already made the purchase) of which over 85% are 'terrible'. Take a look before you buy.

Buried in their UK website you will find an area around terms of service - I can only assume they put it there to avoid being sued - which confirms they are in fact La Maison du Bambou, and that despite their UK front, you will need to return anything (at your own expense) to France - which will take weeks.

The underwear I received was cheap, and to rub salt into the wound, on the package it stated customs value at just £3.52 for the entire package! Less than 88 pence per item, brilliant. The labels confirm the fabric make up being 95% cotton, 5% spandex...funnily enough, zero mention of bamboo which is their only selling point.

This company are a fake, the products are cheap and neither bamboo, nor zero waste or sustainable. Avoid, avoid, avoid! I now have an open dispute with PayPal to attempt to get my money back.
