I placed an order and paid for it on 15/03/23, waited and waited for it to be delivered, they were having issues with stock and assured me it would be arriving soon, asked for a refund after 9 months, did everything they asked, sent the form back and every email bounces back. Still waiting for a refund after 12 months. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Looks like this is the only one way, how it is possible to recieve any update / reply on customer request.
I have ordered the monitor (how wrong i was). I believed in statement and comittment, that the delivery will happen in 7 business days (as stated EVERYWHERE on the website)

In fact, what i have - after almost 1 month
- customer support do not provide any update about order delivery
- customer support send the standard reply:

"We currently have a higher than usual rate of messages. We are working as fast as we can to help you. If you wish, leave your email so that an agent can change your chat into a ticket and follow up your request."

Like everyone else, I found that before ordering, opening a chat was easy. They would give you all the information. However, once I bought the item, they ignored me. All the reviews are true, if you don't want to be stressed, don't order from them. I am requesting a chargeback with my bank. I am usually very careful when ordering, but I didn't see this scam coming. I bought on March 12th.

Ordered in 2015. Waited to last summer before I had enough and asked for refund. They lost my refund form so I had to resend it again. It’s 7 months since I asked for it and they say it should take 10-15 days. They don’t respond in chat anymore.

If the company does not respond to this, is there someone here who know how i can reach out further? Other review sites or arthorites to spread the message so other people don’t get scamed?

Pay attention, no delivery. I bought the Kickstarter-Product in 2015. Every year, they send another excuse, why the product will be send "in 2 month". Now they deleted my account and kept the money. Guess it's time for a lawyer.

I have been contacting these guys every couple months none stop for years after I spent $485.88 in 2021. They keep coming back with the same response that due to covid they are behind and that the next shipment will go out in a few months and I'll be alerted if my order is in the shipment! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!

Order confirmed 20 January. Until today 9 of March still not shipped despite severla mails that it will happen in the next days as a priority

As a backer years ago when this company was still Slide n joy, i have never gotten the screens.. the company switched names multiple times and keeps trying to avoid filling their commitment

Every request for a response is met by the same cut and paste response, ‘we are working on it’ ‘someone will be in touch’, ‘thanks for your patience’, and nobody ever is, nobody ever does, and I’m all out of patience. They refuse to escalate the matter on my behalf. The customer service is awful, the company is dishonest and disingenuous, the communication is impersonal. Truth is there are a dozen manufactures of like product out there, and given the level of service I’ve received every single one of them should be higher on your consideration list than this at best incompetent company at worst fraudulent operation. Feel free to like share comment, I’ve 5 years worth of email and chat transcripts if anyone at the company cares to do anything, though I won’t hold my breath. Still not delivered since July 2015. I'm backer #247 on Kickstarter. I have backed this project in July 2015 and I'm still waiting on my product.

The customer service is constantly saying "Cannot give you an estimated delivery date but it will be in the next batch". As backer # 247 I would expect to be delivered at least within the first 300 units. Today it seems like much more than 300 units were produced.

I'm contacting the customer support every few months I would just like to get a rough estimate, even if it is "at some point this year or that year". It's been 9 years I can wait another year if they could at least set an expectation. There is a real lack of communication from this company. I would rather they message me every month to tell me it's late and update me on progress rather than staying silent.

The worst kickstarter campaign I've seen on the web, the most frustrating purchase I ever done in my life.

I purchased / invested in getting a screen as an early bird adopter many years ago. I loved the concept and really thought this would become big. Never delivered the screen which is a real disappointment. I’m surprised to see this up and running and more importantly the many people hindered, including myself, not reimbursed with interest or as a minimum supplied the actual product.

I BACKED THIS ON KICKSTARTER 9 YEARS AGO. This company is a gigantic scam - they will take your money and not deliver the product. There's a whole Facebook group dedicated to this fact. Countless people that have been screwed over, spent way more than what the product is worth, only to be given repeated false promises and lies. Do not purchase this. This company is full of frauds, and criminals, and you will be throwing your money away.

Note - Trustpilot requires that my date of experience was within 12 months of posting, but I made this purchase on July 8, 2015. Scam, scam, scam.

My order # was at first 1693, and then later changed to 7620 when they rebranded for the third or fourth time (Slidenjoy -> Le Slide -> Portabl -> The Portable Monitor)

UPDATE 3/20: It gets even better. I emailed the reviews email address per their request, and got an email from someone named Tom Bosser. When I replied to him, his email address no longer existed. If this doesn't scream scam, I don't know what does.

They scammed me. I ordered it few years ago and never got it. I wrote a lot of mails. Nothing happened. :( very disappointing

I purchased this product from their initial website more than 5 years ago. I paid in full in October of 2019. There were many promises for delivery over the years, yet I wasn't even able to get registered at their last website. This company is a SCAM! I was so excited about this product and even encouraged others to purchase when I 1st learned of it. Sad.

I ordered in early 2019. Then it was only a deposit. Since then I was charged the full amount in 2020 and my product has STILL not been shipped.

They've also rebranded 4 or 5 times since (Le slide, slidenjoy, portabl), I'm sure as an attempt to avoid the negative feedback from not delivering on their product to hundreds of customers.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR PRODUCT.

They'll just continue to string you along blaming China or their manufacturer all the while posting pictures of their execs in person with a handful of people "delivering" their product.

They promised last year that I would get a refund and I again, never delivered on that either.

Update: The company replied to me here, send me an email asking for contact info so their CEO could contact me. That was 2 weeks ago. I provided the info. Today I sent a followup email only to find that the email no longer exists "tom@ portabl-team.com". Not sure what they are playing at here.

Update 2: Still haven't heard anything from them. But I see them continuing to have their website active, take new orders, etc. Scam artists.

This is vapourware of the highest order. I backed on Kickstarter 9 years ago and all the company has ever said is "we are moving to the next stage of production, you will get yours soon". It never arrives - and I know I'm not the only one in this position.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Paid for it in 2019. 5 years later still not received my item.. the company is a joke and continues to feed the same excuses, we are waiting on stock. Accepted I will never receive this item and wasted over €350 that’s now too old to claim back on my credit card.

I ordered a Mono 15.6" on January 22, 2024, and as of March 5, I have not received anything. When I contact them through chat assistance, they simply assure me that my item will arrive soon. When I ask them to return my money, they likewise decline, leaving me unsure of what to do. I still have hope that I will be able to get my Mono, so please, if you are reading this, do not purchase from them at all.
They are now not responding to any of the messages I submitted; there is no Helpdesk support available, and sending an email would just result in the same response. I can't trust them, they don't want to build a business at all. It's March 30, 2024, and I haven't received or updated my order in 65 days.

Last Update.
It has been 100 days since I made my request through this website. They blocked my email and changed the website address to (best-portable-monitor) since they are such thieves, cowards, and scammers who took my money by making it seem like the product doesn't exist, which is what is currently occurring.
I filed a claim with my bank and asked for my money back.

Everyone who lost their money should report their case!!! I can't paste links, but just Google the "report fraud" by Federal Trade Commission and e.g. Red Points's article on Fake Online Shopping Sites.

The website looks like an obvious scam--no company-specific details, no real articles referenced, no real pictures, half of reviews are reporting a scam. They probably just cover things up by showing logos of famous news outlets on their website and the number of followers on social media (which could have been bought or otherwise acquired without legit business operations). No proof of legitimate business. Really bad experience; a waste of money for many out there and a waste of time for me.
