I am trading with the5ers for a while…
I am trading with the5ers for a while and decided to give a try to futures accounts.
I bought several accounts and blew them up through my own fault. However, I bought an account the day before yesterday and managed to get it funded.
While I was trading, though, I tried to open a position on MGC. The market was completely frozen and not working. The Blackarrow platform still allowed me to open a position (1 micro), which—due to a platform bug—resulted in a massive spread. As soon as the position opened, it showed a loss of $1,200, causing my funded account to be terminated.
I spoke with two support representatives who, to date, have only managed to open a ticket with their technical team; I have received no feedback so far. No compensation has been offered either, leaving me simply waiting and out of pocket due to the failure of their trading platform.
A terrible experience. I don't think I'll be buying any more challenges or continuing to work with them.

I had an initial hiccup where my…
I had an initial hiccup where my evaluation account was terminated under the allegation that I held an overnight position. However, this was incorrect: neither the trading platform nor the website dashboard showed any open positions. Furthermore, I run the exact same operation on another account and have never had any issues.
I contested the decision for several days, sending detailed screenshots from both the platform and the dashboard of both accounts as proof. Today, I received a reply from the support team apologizing for the misunderstanding and granting me credit to acquire a new account of the same type.
Technical or interpretation errors can happen in any company, but what truly defines the quality of a prop firm is how they handle problems. I am very grateful for their attention, fairness in analyzing my evidence, and speed in correcting the situation. My trust in their support has been fully restored. Highly recommended!

You track traders strategy, and whenever I make too much profit, you always find a way to make me lose it all. This is a repeating pattern with every account I have with you. Today, for example, the chart didn't work on your shitty Blackarrow platform for the instrument where my strategy indicated I could have made a lot of profit today, when I was about to enter. Because of this error, I had to trade something else and lost. You intentionally mess with traders whenever they are in profit. The worst I have ever tried

Following this review, The5ers reached out privately regarding my feedback. However, instead of taking responsibility or resolving the issue, their priority was simply to protect their narrative by making me look incompetent and deceitful.
Their public response is just more polished PR spin to look professional—doing the exact same thing they did in our email exchange. They claim this was just "reduced market activity and wider spreads," which is completely false: the chart was not working at all, while updating seamlessly on every other platform I use.
Instead of addressing their failure, they chose to twist my words, dismiss my experience, and hide behind legal boilerplate to evade accountability. I regularly pass challenges with other prop firms without issues; the problem here is how this company treats clients when something goes wrong.
Prospective clients should take note: based on my experience, when a problem occurs, do not expect fair treatment—expect endless excuses, PR spin, and zero accountability.

After reviewing the information you provided, including the timeframe and instruments involved, our technical team investigated the reported behavior of the MGC futures contract during the period in question. The review found no evidence of a platform malfunction or server-side issue affecting your account. Instead, the market was in the normal month-end futures contract transition period, during which trading volume and liquidity shift from the expiring contract to the next active contract. During these periods, reduced market activity can result in infrequent price updates, wider spreads, and charts that may appear delayed or less responsive as they reflect the available market data.
We understand that you believe this affected your ability to execute your intended Gold trade and ultimately influenced your decision to trade a different instrument. However, while we appreciate your explanation, the subsequent MNQ trade was entered manually and independently, and we are therefore unable to attribute that trading outcome to a platform error or make adjustments to the account based on that loss.
We also want to address the concern that The5ers intentionally interferes with profitable traders or manipulates platform behavior. We categorically reject this allegation. The5ers does not monitor individual trading strategies for the purpose of disrupting trades, nor do we manipulate charts, execution, or platform functionality based on a trader's profitability. Our success depends on providing a fair trading environment where traders who perform well can continue to grow within our programs.
We recognize that this outcome is not the one you were hoping for, and we respect that you may disagree with our conclusions. Nevertheless, after a thorough review by the relevant teams, we remain confident that the trading results accurately reflected the market conditions at the time, and our decision is final.
