Just tried to book car transport for fiat 500L only 7 miles ONE WAY! quote from Any van direct £71 plus £13 8am-12pm pickup!!! sent me an email quote to confirm!
Tried AA site & partnered to ANY VAN!!! new quote via AA referral PLUS £20!!! Now my any van direct quote is now £91 as well!!!
Tried another quote using different email... £71 so go direct as AA charge £20 to refer you to Any van who actually perform the transport!!!!

Having purchased a car from an AA approved retailer and having had a litany of issues, Verity at AA Customer Service has gone above and beyond to ensure everything is dealt with. Not only is she a pleasure to speak to, she is organised and professional. She does what she commits to in the timeframe she commits to and keeps me updated at every step - a rare skill these days. If more companies employed more Verity's life would be a whole heap better.

AA cars arbitration became involved mid December 2024. The case was consigned to Victoria Greenwood. The franchisee was very difficult to communicate with but due to Victoria's persistence, after 228 days, we finally gained remuneration towards our repair costs. The approved dealer in question, in our opinion, is not worthy off AA recognition.

I initially believed that AA Cars ensures the legitimacy of the car dealerships listed on their platform. However, I purchased a car from Drayton Car World (also known as USG Motor Ltd) on 24th April 2025, and just two days later, I discovered serious issues with the vehicle, including engine faults, an oil leak, and gearbox problems.
When I contacted the dealer to address these faults, they refused to accept the car back or even communicate with me. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated.
I question how AA Cars allows such dishonest dealers to sell their vehicles through their platform. I bought the car under the impression that AA Cars vets and checks the dealerships they list, but my experience suggests otherwise.
Please do not trust the AA Cars website blindly. I have lost £10,300 on a faulty vehicle, and I am willing to provide proof that I purchased from AA Cars and that the dealer was Drayton Car World / USG Motor Ltd.

AA car lease has been a bit of a nightmare so far. When you sign up and need to pay them, they hound you on text message, calls, emails, but then went you need to get the car delivered, their system emails you and that’s the only contact you get, very low care and poor service. My new car has been sitting in a dealership for almost four weeks and now it can finally be delivered. Customer service is not effective - I would not recommend AA car lease at all

My experience has been terrible. I bought a vehicle thinking it would be a safe way to do so, but it has not turned out that way. The vehicle broke down 4 days after purchase (gearbox went) and to date I have not received my refund despite going through the AA mediation service. Do not rely on this AA Dealship promise as you are not covered.

Used AA Cars for mediation as I had a problem with a car purchase from an AA authorised dealer.
They dealt with the dispute efficiently and I agreed a partial refund with the dealer. The consultant was friendly and helpful and kept me informed at all times.
